separate password protected boys and girls forums

i think it would be a good idea to have separate boys/girls only forums ''password protected'' where they can talk freely without interruption from members of the opposite gender.

I don't think internet is a place where secrets should be shared, private issues should be discussed. the Idea of having a pw protected section is to talk about issues that one wouldn't wish to be public. right? I will be too paranoid about all the so called "female" members that i have not even met or even know whether they are actually female or not. Its not like i have met members here face to face to know who is a guy and who is a girl, its just word of mouth that i trust. that trust is only limited to having public discussions... private ones? I am not so sure about.

on the other than, I do favor a separate section for boys and girls together... A section like "gender issues" or "Battle of gender"... This will be helpful to know where to post all topics related to gender.

You are too naive. It is a custom of pre-Islamic Arab bagans to call someone sister or mother and then become their "mahram".

This custom is declared un-Islamic.

Your sister in Islam is not the same as your blood related sister. When you refer to a Muslim woman as sister, it does not know you are really her brother.
