Who said that? It's my mother tongue, which is the same thing as "first language". Do I speak it as much any more? No. Am I as good at it as I was before living abroad? Definitely not. Living all over the world made me adept at English, so I tend to use that a bit more. But your terms are inaccurate.

To write poetry in a language, you have to admire that language and the people who speak it. We have been living amongst each other peacefully for many years before the disease of a country named Pakistan erupted next door. This hatred that you spill all over the mindsets of our people is responsible for the state that our country is in today.

The good things Afghanistan has is preserving Pashto culture etc (although much of the movies, and music, came from Pak, but we'll ignore that for now).. yet you can't see that CERTAIN (not all) Tajik types have a vested interest in beating the war drums on the Eastern side of your country's borders. This is Pashtun forums, not Afghanistan defence forums. We're here to promote unity between lar and bar instead of promoting division by casting doubt on the Pashtunness of other Pashtuns. Promote your petty watan parasti somewhere else.
Also I rarely hear people say do and panch when they're speaking Pashto. For the small numbers(1-10) the pure Pashto terms are almost always used. Urdu numbers become common after you pass 20, and even then for "clean" numbers(e.g. 30, 40, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300 etc.) the pure Pashto terms are used more often than Urdu ones. And most people can count in pashto fine even if they use urdu numbers, I personally always use pure pashto numbers and people understand me perfectly.

Dude. On average throughout my life since I was very young I have spent 11 out of 12 months in a non-Pashto speaking area yet I don't ever remember not knowing what shunday meant, and that was even a few years back when my Pashto had become pretty messed up. Also, although I learned what shparras was a little later in life I don't ever thing I've confidently said "shpaglas" without getting a feeling that I was saying it wrong. Pa kar de che andaza darta lagi che "za da ttakay ghalat wayam."
