no, kgodb has a great point actually but its on a different tangent. where he is wrong is that being against a foreign introduced onslaught in the here and now does not warrant introspection of the last few centuries of pashtun culture. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Surely, not all Pashtuns are "making sure the kaffirs tea cups are warm". In fact, it is at the cost of Pashtun blood that the NATO effort failed.Originally posted by randolph85 View Postthe tajik leaders have made it clear that they support the NATO mission as i have mentioned and you have just repeated.
grow up and get over the the whateverthe**** = afghan/pashtun
it doesn't matter and no one cares. afghanistan is not an internet forum.
the pashtuns have become bigger sellouts than the northerners. the northerners are fine and good because its not their people that are suffering so they love this international engagement, the pashtuns are the
opposite but still make sure the kaffirs tea cup is warm and full."Do not waste water even if you were at a running stream."-Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Who has been serving the tea for the last decade? Amarulleh Saleh and Co and his filthy ilk wannabe Iranians.

"The non-Pashtuns, who make up around 60 percent of the Afghan people, are the most pro-American in the country. If anything, the non-Pashtuns would like to see Americans fighting in and for their country, against their Pashtun enemies, for the next century. To Northern Afghans, we’re the best guarantee against a Pashtun takeover—the last thing the non-Pashtuns want."Last edited by Shah-i-Kot; 04-13-2013, 07:42 AM.

I don't know if i buy that story, even mullah zaeef in his book said he had respect for massouds jihad. i mean come on, if we are blaming him for soviet advances from the north, how guilty are the taliban for "allowing" NATO supplies through pashtun territory from pakistan to afg?
that's not to say massoud wasn't a POS later on in the civil war, but its best to look at things objectively. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. this is nothing more than a reinforcement of one of my last posts which said basically the northerners are in the pro west camp, hence my comparison of pashtuns to them in a derogatory manner. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. How about when rostrum and his NA when they purposely killed Taliban prisoners (who were all Pashtun) in trucks without oxygen and buried their remains which were found 5 years later somewhere in balkh? Or how about when the Hazaras were stopping cars at checkpoints and killed anyone who was pashtun?
Pakhtuns are getting double crossed by both sides and kharzai doesn't give a single crap."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

^ I actually read somewhere that the Taliban made an alliance with the Hazaras back in the day in northern Afg and then they broke their trust and betrayed them. Tons of Pashtuns died that day. Of course the Taliban got their sweet revenge and slaughtered Hazaras to oblivion. Yet Hazaras cry like hypocrites on how pashtuns killed Hazaras not looking back on their own mistakes.
It's true that revenge is truly a dish served cold...Last edited by Kushan Prince; 04-13-2013, 01:04 AM."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

i don't know about the hazaras, but the taliban made pacts with many unsavory characters in the north. the civil war was a funny thing, many unusual alliances.Originally posted by Kushan Prince View Post^ I actually read somewhere that the Taliban made an alliance with the Hazaras back in the day in northern Afg and then they broke their trust and betrayed then. This whole thread is really arrogant.
First, the mythos of the "noble Afghan" is a mythos. We aren´t any better than anyone else out there.
Second, we could answer this question if we were in their position, if we went through 30 years of war, hunger, fear for our loved ones and desparation. The only constant is change.

I think it's called being nice and hospitable. Although the unjustified Zionist occupation of Afghanistan is reason enough for many Afghans to feel a seething hatred for these "kuffirs" (as many of you would like to refer to them, for the sake of this thread I will stoop to the childish name-calling you've all developed to attack "non-believers" even though to my understanding Islam is a religion of peace, no?). The taliban and the U.S. occupation kaffirs are both not in the interests of the Afghan people.

There is a problem with the argument here, couple of problems actually. First of all I dont understand why on this forum the action of one or a small group of individuals is extrapolated to population as a whole. Like in this you see "some" afghans doing whatever and you clubbed a whole 30~35 million of them as beghairats. That is notwithstanding the fact that for a decade now this country has been fighting occupation, thousands are dead because they dont want to give up their land and rights. How could you possibly call them beghairat ?
So this is really sad and hypocritical to see a picture and call the whole country beghairats, its borderline gheebat man. No one is beghairat, sometimes some people just dont have the liberty to do as they please.
And how do you know where these pictures were taken or how they were taken ? perspective is also very important.Attached FilesIt's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..
