You also can't believe the stuff you hear in the media because 100% tries to make Muslims seem like the bad guys. How would you know this is a norm in Pashtun culture? Do you live there? When was the last time you visited?

P.S. All languages borrow from one another, especially Farsi which has about 35 to 40% Arabic words as opposed to Pashto which contributes 10 to 15%.

    FACT #1

The use of Acid against women is present in few societies on Earth, Afghan society being one of them

    FACT #2

Sexual exploitation of children is a sad reality of Afghan society

    FACT #3

Oppression and abuse of women is a sad reality of Afghan society

    FACT #4

The streets of Kabul and Peshawar are filled with Afghan women who beg

    FACT #6

Beheadings are an unfortunate reality of our society

    FACT #7

The targeting of educational institutions is a reality of Afghan society for the last 3-4 decades. Granted under some circumstances it is justified as schools are a source of indoctrination but in many cases it is not

So like the stunted child that you are you pretend these things dont exist, or rather that this is simply a figment of a neo conservatives imagination

And like a mentally challenged child, you assume that just because these things exist, that means it applies to every household

Now trot away khar, and dont ever knock on this door again

They always weighed and calculated their interests while dealing with foes, the marching armies passing through ghilzai and afridi country always had two options, either pay the mountain people or get harassed by them...I would quote example of syed ahmad bareilvi from history, he and his hindostani fanatics were welcomed and appreciated by pakhtuns of peshawer valley and yousafzai valley as they were helping hands against their sikh foes..togather they defeated sikhs in three consecutive battles. But syed ahmad , who was influenced from wahabism, declared himself amir ul momineen and appointed his hindostani followers as Qazis over pakhtuns. He tried to abolish pashtunwali , jirga and customs. He made demand of wives from yousafzais for his hindostani fellas, when they refused, he used pressure and termed their behaviour unislamic. Pakhtuns felt that this bareilvi guy is infact a foriegner, is trying to impose his rule and ideas on them and is dictating them. Within a day hundreds of his hindostani followers were captured and killed and bareilvi himself ran away towards balakot with tail between his legs...
Moreover their style of fighting involved stretagies and plans, guerralla warfare, they retreated whenever they were in weaker position , that can be termed cowardice if seen from another perspective..
Moreover some one can call bacha khan and his red shirts beghairats for their allergy to guns and violence...double barrel khan of muslim league killed hundreds of them yet they didnt resort violence.

Russians and Americans are not the only invaders, pakhtuns of today have forgetton that our ancestors have also resisted muslim mughals and muslim jihadist from india...America would depart from Afghanistan in 2014 and like randolph i would say "game of thrones" will begin afghanistan...i may sound selfish, but my bigger concern is lar pakhtuns, in my opinion cultural invaders like punjabis, punjabized pathans and urdu mohajirs are more dangerous than non-muslim invaders like americans who we reject straight away...the desi invader is two headed snake, making every attempt to finish pashtun identity and make them desis...through their converted desified pashtun agents , they are interfering in afghanistan and are keeping it as its backyard and fifth province.
      excellent point

no i don't, not any more than you do.

what i see is the context of foreigners kicking in the afghan door and trespassing for 12 years and afghans sitting down and conducting business with these people. making them feel like they are comfy and at home, serving them tea and all that garbage. why they do this, who knows? i am not naive enough to think every afghan is some warrior who has his head on right. some of the biggest pieces of **** i know are afghans. they do it because they are profiting, stupidly naive, or think its for the greater good.

is that what u would do if i kicked open the door of your home and lived in one of your rooms? pointed a gun at u everyday and told u to shut up if u asked when i was leaving?

so yes, i know things are not black and white, but i also know that afghans shame themselves by their cordial relations with the people who want to see them dead, or alive long enough to accomplish western goals.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

They are kicking in the door because they are looking for Pashtuns that are shooting at them. The US has turned afghanistan into a lawless land. There are two kinds of people in afghanistan, those with guns and those without guns. The ones without guns serve those with guns. the one with guns serve their own interests through violence whether its the Taliban, NATO, or other criminals. As long as there is no law, this will continue.
