Pashtuns have syeds , qureshis and other arab descendants among them who are considered fully pashtuns. We have a whole tribe, mashwanis, who claim to be syeds and use "shah" as last name. So we share genetics with arabs. Many of us have arabic names , we share alot with arabs. I have few arab finds and i think pashtuns are closest to arabs in terms of qualities.

Finally someone that knows that pashtuns have 0.000% commonality with arabs except religion. Our clothes,food,dance,language,attitude, behaviour and even bloodline(semetic vs indo-European) is very very different. I say it once and for all: Except religion afghans and arabs have nothing in common.

I am pakistani by nationality and pashtun by nationality, muslim by faith. He should have said occupied parts west of the indus, because I dont recognize durand line. I believe in loy afghanistan, that means everything west of the indus is afghanistan. He probably meant people in KP and baluchistan and went with the official name pakistan, so that people like you could understand.
