Thank you, fellow white racist. I keep telling these guys that they are white but they dont believe me. I had a long discussion once, but they dont seem to get it. We are not White but Caucasian. White in common usage means those from European continent. White is not skin colour but a common geographical location, culture and heritage. You can be olive skinned southern European or fair skinned Northern European but still White.

Pashtuns are neither European nor Christian so not White in that sense.

For what its worth, I agree with that.

Furthermore Pashtuns (of today) appear to be quite a mixed people - overall - but many of the tribes today probably go back to a common past even if they might not all look the same today.

It might well also be that quite a few (maybe many?) of the Pashtun tribes who speak Pashto today, originally spoke another language and adopted Pashto at some stage. This could be either the original inhabitants of the area who switched to Pashto or newcomers who adopted Pashto. I dont have the knowledge to say. When I say "Pashto" - it could be a predecessor language of Pashto. I think there is no agreement on how old Pashto is, but I have seen a few places where it is indicated as not being extremely old.

I say all this because I think it has happened in north India too. Its based on my own observations and study of available materials.

I didn't mean to say "this forum", I was gonna say "this thread".
Anyways, I started politely, because I was speaking to brothers. Then, some people showed by their posts that they are non-Pashtuns, OK, no problem, they were still my fellow forum mates. But some people, including Tor_Khan, an adminstrator, and you, and Revolutionsomething, and shadowgoverner, started to insult me and swore me with bad abuses. Then I had started slowly by slowly to use a little bit less polite language. But after I discovered them same people trying to bring down KingOfAriana, my Pashtun brother, who is quite young, then I had to use this bad language.
