What does that mean? Are you trying to imply that since women can't drive in Saudi Arabia, we should let it be the way it is?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

that aint bad thing but you do know its unislamic to pass judgement on a whole race of people.

look at me i quit bashing pakistan even though i still dont agree with most of the social behaviour of that country but i understand that paksitanis themselves are the victim of the system.

yes i do agree with this, and i have specifically said that I am not talking about Arab (race) or even Pakistani race when i criticize pakistanis. But I am talking about certain things that are happening in the society of these countries, which in fact all muslims should criticize because they are un islamic things

What's wrong if they wish to drive? If a woman wants to drive, what's your problem? For a man to say "let it be that way" that not only screams ignorance, but it yells male-chauvinism to say the least.

That's your person opinion, which you may write on a cardboard and wave it as long as you want. I'll defend your right to wave it. However, shoving it down someone elses throat is where an argument might occur.

what is with all this anti man thingy on PF?I mean this has always been the strategy of colonists to have a problem between men and women.

Why is it your business if someones woman drives or not?i mean would you go and tell someones husband to **** off let her drive?
male chauvinism and fake feminism is as well a foreign idea to Pashtuns so judging them according to these words is false.
if we do a survey among women in those areas you will eb surprised by the results but than again you will be claiming that those women are ignorant they should drive.and also lets do a poll on if women in pukhtunkhwa wants to throw away their sadara, chadarai whatever int he name of liberation.
the same should be done in Afghanistan and lets start with the so called modern city as kabul.

i have no problem with women driving, but why shoudl they if they can have a driver.

That's your person opinion, which you may write on a cardboard and wave it all you want. Shoving down someone elses throat is where a fist-fight might occur.
ok go try and shove it the throat of Pashtuns in pukhtunkhwa if those women want to dirve or not.
what is with this always portraying pukhtane as being anti their women, how in the hell a 3rd party has th eright to interfere between a husband an wife or parents and daughter.

i think this foreigners being in every body's business in our watan is kidn of getting annoying, they have their own of doing things.

97.6% of crashes are caused by women, the other 2.4% is caused by men looking at women while driving.

I could not understand the connection between driving and virginity, the topic!

The only country Salafi in world is Saudi and the only country you will see such stupid things. Even in Afghanistan and even in Pashtunkhwah you see women driving. Driving has nothing to do with gender. Its a skill which can be learnt by any one. A man may not drive if he does not know how to drive.

Don't know about that, of all the time I have spent in Afghanistan (and Pekhawar) I have never seen a woman driving.

Especially not in the villages & not even in the cities.
                        It doesn't happen. It's a taboo.

I haven't been there for a few years though so perhaps that has changed although I find it hard to believe.

Not that I agree with it, there are many impracticalities involved, women should be able to drive but our cultural make up does not really allow for that in any great capacity, at least for the time being.

                              Typical of their mentality.

Their lust for virgins is quite open.

Why doesnt the cleric Saab introduce laws that protects minorities and workers from other countries from abuse and torment.

                              Its sad.
