our mosque was beautiful in Hong Kong , I started my school, Quran everything in Hong Kong.

I can count up to 29 and can said few words lol, I was there for 4 years from 1996 till 2000...but my grandad could speak it fluently...in Hong Kong they speak Cantanise, chinese is in China.

Yes and i learnt more at mosque than at 16 years of school.

My teacher was an indian gujarati muslim who was especially innovative. He use to put a ballpoint pen between our fingers and then squeeze them, or use to make us to the "morghee" - hold your hands between your feet.

Once i told my dad about him. So my dad came into mosque and said to the mosque teacher make sure you beat him up properly next time, so he learns his sabbaq properly LOL. Typical pashtun parents!

His weapon of choice was the plastic water pipe.



When i got older, he use to make me beat the crap out the little kids who messed about lol. I use to collect his fees and count his money on friday for him. Because everyone use to bring coins, i had to go to the local petrol station and exchange it for notes as well as go to all the other teachers and hand them their wages. I became his mini-accountant.

Man, i loved that guy - he was a real comedian too. He use to call us into mosque on weekends in summer holidays for free. Only wished he beat me up some more might've knocked some more sense into me.

Wrora there is no need to say these things, some madrassahs are messed up but not all. They are there to teach our religion and if they beat kids senseless then they are doing their job wrong.
