i will take mr wrayun as the more rational of the differing parties here. not a knock on unknown because he is passionate and i respect that, though i sure as hell don't agree with all his views. i remember in a thread where unknown and i were at odds so i tried to play peacemaker with him and he didn't accept it. i have absolute confidence and conviction in what i say so i was not in the wrong here, but willing to throw a bone for a sake of islamic/afghan solidarity, yet i was rejected. fool me once...

some people here are unbelievably irrational.

for example, the other day in the thread about the kid being run over by americans, edge and i began talking about how the western rational for the war was based on lies. that if they wanted to take out the talibs and aq, they could of without a long and hard occupation. then this qunduz girl starts calling me northern alliance and all kinds of horrible things because i "condoned" taking out talibs. when i tell her that i meant that americans were liars and could of avoided this occupation and over through of the taliban government to achieve its stated goals of taking out AQ, i am then called a secularist tajik. this is all while catya is thanking her posts, which admin had deleted because of its profanity.

then i receive this in pm's from qunduz...

your problem is you don't want to believe the worst (I don't know why). You questioned an article I posted which showed that an Afghan boy had been injured by a bomb in a toy. You asked for the link. I gave the link to you. Then you questioned the source which was a local news organization from cincinnati (I think).

You refused to believe it despite the fact that high school kids reported this to the local news as shown in the report. They were holding a fundraiser for this Afghan boy.
I had facts.

i refused to believe ur article because it was about some charity event for afghanistan, with one mention of an afghan boy who had his limbs blown up by a toy bomb. this was only one sentence with no background story. not only that, the article also said that 400,000 people had died in the floods in the region, which was obviously false. after a back and forth with u, u then tell me to contact the paper myself lol
