If, say, there is a function given, not provided any additional data, we have it in the form of Fourier Series, as it is in Classical Harmonic Analysis. Then we express it in terms of some groups.

Abstract Harmonic Analysis does not discuss about signal (wavelet) properties; that it does so is Classic Harmonic Analysis.

Let f: C --> C be given, then we have an infinite series S = \sum_{n=1} {n=\infty} [fcosn (arg) + fsin (arg)] + f(0)/2. ||f|| is then equal to ||S||. In E set \delta such as for any x, y \belong E, \delta = |x - y|. This was basic in Functional Analysis. Now set q \belong R, for x, y \belong R ^ q, set that distance. Set this distance as a phase of wavelet, where for some whole term, that is the period.
