In the west you have women as heads of state, presidents of large corporations, judging in the highest courts. Running households. during divorce, gets most of the assets and the children. The traditional family in the west is to have kids without marriage, to have gay couples adopt children, visiting the sperm bank for insemination, hiring a surrogate mother, etc..... thats patriachyOriginally posted by roadrunner View PostWestern society is highly patriarchal. It always has been, and still is. Women do have extra rights in the highly patriarchal society, but it's still a patriarchal society. The concept of the traditional family still exists and though there are variations of it, in many places in the west, them man is still seen as head of the household even though it may not be politically correct to acknowledge such.
OK whatever you say.Last edited by khushal; 02-08-2012, 10:18 PM.

In the East you have that too, Mahatma. Benazir Bhutto, Head of State Bank of Pakistan. BUT Pakistan is still a patriarchal society. Token women here and there do not eliminate the patriarchy. It is embedded all over.Originally posted by khushal View PostIn the west you have women as heads of state, presidents of large corporations, judging in the highest courts.
That's socialism. In fact if women were earning money, men would get half of their money. It has nothing to do with gender though.Running households. during divorce, gets most of the assets and the children.
lol. That's a blinkered view, Mahatma. Almost as blinkered as the Westerners that think Muslims beat their wives. Most western folk get married and live in a traditional family at least once. It's not a tradition that doesn't exist anymore. It's a carryover of the patriarchal tradition. The traditional family in the west is to have kids without marriage, to have gay couples adopt children, visiting the sperm bank for insemination, hiring a surrogate mother, etc..... thats patriachy
OK whatever you say.
Do you have any more to add on the Pashtun Y chromosome by the way?

Pakistan's elites have moved from patriachy also. They are westernized people who are supposed to bring values to their ancestorial countries but instead are looting its resources.Originally posted by roadrunner View PostIn the East you have that too, Mahatma. Ofcourse, patiarchy is a social system you bafoon. It does not matter what men would get in a divorce. Patriachy has more to do with the role of women in society. That's socialism. In fact if women were earning money, men would get half of their money. It has nothing to do with gender though.
So 85% of children living in a divorced household is traditional to you. Are you acting stupid or is it not an act?lol. That's a blinkered view, Mahatma. Almost as blinkered as the Westerners that think Muslims beat their wives. Most western folk get married and live in a traditional family at least once. I have already answered this question, I cant keep answering it over and over again just because you ask it over and aver again as proof of your insanity.Do you have any more to add on the Pashtun Y chromosome by the way?

This is so stupid it doesnt make any sense.Ofcourse, patiarchy is a social system you bafoon. It does not matter what men would get in a divorce. Patriachy has more to do with the role of women in society.
Patriarchy can exist in a pure socialist or complete capitalist society. Patriarchy is only to do with the position of men in authority. The role of women comes from that.
Isn't that a dum example? If they live in a family household, then they live in a traditional family household. Whether they are divorced or not makes no difference surely? So 85% of children living in a divorced household is traditional to you. Are you acting stupid or is it not an act?
You've not answered it though, have you Gandhi? What is the Pashtun Y chromosome that identifies Pashtuns uniquely? Since you can't answer it, I'll assume all those posts where you said you could identify a Pashtun by his Y chromosome were wrong.I have already answered this question, I cant keep answering it over and over again just because you ask it over and aver again as proof of your insanity.Last edited by Guest; 02-08-2012, 11:37 PM.

I am talking about the elites you bafoon. try to focus.Originally posted by roadrunner View PostPakistan is not a patriarchal society? LOL
socialism and capitalism are economic system. Patriachy is not an economic system. your burying yourself in stupidity deeper and deeper. This is so stupid it doesnt make any sense.

First learn how to spell DUMB, then you may call others "DUM."Isn't that a dum example? If they live in a family household, then they live in a traditional family household. Whether they are divorced or not makes no difference surely?
children living in a single parent household is by no means traditional. but OK whatever you say, you talk as though you are some kind a crackhead.Last edited by khushal; 02-09-2012, 02:00 AM.

Dear Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi,Originally posted by khushal View PostI am talking about the elites you bafoon. try to focus.
How am i supposed to know you're talking about the elites when you mentioned Pakistani society only?
Yours sincerely,
RoadRunner.
The Pakistani "elite" are very patriarchal. Women might work, but they form part of the traditional family with the man in the position of authority. Or do you know something that i do not?
That might explain why the Patriarchy can exist in both Socialist and Capitalist societies, genius.socialism and capitalism are economic system. Patriachy is not an economic system. your burying yourself in stupidity deeper and deeper.
However you gave an example of Socialism to illustrate that western society was not patriarchal (the women getting money after divorce). That was an economic example, genius which is why I said that's Socialism (which also is an economic example).
Where's your statistic that 82% of western children live in single parent households?First learn how to spell DUMB, then you may call others "DUM."
children living in a single parent household is by no means traditional. but OK whatever you say, you talk as though you are some kind a crackhead.
While you look for it, what is the Pashtun Y chromosome? (for the 6th time of asking).

It is difficult to debate with you I must admit, mahatma. I've asked you 6 times for the identity of the Pashtun Y chromosome that unqiuely identifies Pashtuns genetically.Originally posted by khushal View Postyour an idiot. you cant focus on what people are saying and you have no idea how to debate.
Are you drunk?
So far, you've not responded. Is that debate?
