i think it's time to put this Shi'a-Sunni nonsense behind us ....it's absurd and backwards and has severe consequences.
Letting this smear campaign, based on absurd mutual propaganda only shows how short sighted we are and that is something outsiders take advantage of.
My understanding of OP's question was to seek the origin of the Shia in those tribes rather than to incite the butcherous barbarity often seen in the schism.

But point taken.
I know. but some other comments seemed disparaging of others on account of their being shi'a
I have no problem with disagreement with controversial aspects of Shi'a beliefs. I don't endorse many of those views either, but it should not lead to animosity.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
Shia being a minoority should know there place, they always bring problems upon themselves, no sunni ever curses a companion, but for twelvers cursing companions is part of their aqeedah, sunnis don't have a mosque in tehran, but mushrik sikhs have a temple there.
I don't know if I can bare the sight of a Shiite Pashtun. It's like meeting a cross dresser.

Never talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.
If there are those that curse companions, what does that have to do with us? They will bear the consequences for it, not us. There is no excuse to marginalize or persecute en entire group of people on account of those that curse companions. The companions are in their graves, their souls are protected by Allah(swt), no curse can affect them no matter who says it.The Prophet(saw) taught that the proper Muslim is supposed to be "the bigger man" and not get bogged down in that banter.
If we do it here that's one thing, but when it is administered in society and make political actions on this account that is ridiculous.
This claim that Shi'a go around cursing companions is blown out of proportion, while indeed there are people who partake in it, prominent Shi'a scholars decry the practice of Lan'at, justi like they decry mathum. What Iran does is a component of their political agenda. Saudis let Christians build churches in their land but won't let Shi'a have masajid. Iran and Saudia are playing political games to manipulate people against each other. This is an Imperialist design to keep us constantly in turmoil.
People being murdered for merely uttering words we don't like is psychopathic behavior. If there are Shi'a who do the same they are also guilty. The only way to move past it is to cooperate between Muslims everywhere to marginalize these hate mongerers, not play to their fiddle.
If Assad was Sunni and went around slaughtering Alawite families, would he be a hero? No, he'd still be a dhalim who deserves punishment. It's his crimes against human life that make him guilty, not his being Alawi.
Islam is about Justice, every oppressor and oppression needs to be opposed, every act of cruelty needs to be stopped, not whether our fragile egoes are appeased.

Also turis are physically unimpressive by pashtun standards they are mostly short and skrawney, I doubt they are ethnic pashtuns, probabaly assimlated indics.
I am Zazai and our elders tell us that Jan Baz Khan(Zazai) and Tur Baz Khan(Turai) were brothers. We speak the same Pashto dialect. In the past, Turi have always come to the aid for Zazi in battles but unfortunately Zazi have not reciprocated when they are in need.
Turis are known as very ghyrati in the neighborhood. Whenever Mangal/Turi or Wazir/Turi battles are initiated and Mangal or Wazir are hunted down. Turi families will give sayma/refuge to any Mangal or Wazir that asks for it saving their lives from the vigilantes. But as you say these "assimilated indics" have kicked out Pashtun Wazir, Pashtun Mangal, Pashtun Bangash out of Kurrum and these "assimilated indics" have been masters of the valley for centuries.
Is this information that you actual read in Physical copies of Al Kafi or are these "choice quotes" that I see on Deobandi Dar Ul Uloom sites? I used to buy into that stuff too, until I realized these types of sites are agenda driven.
They do to Shi'a, what people like Karachi do to Islam.

Ok, now by all means find the relevant information and also explain to us the consensus that these Shi'a scholars have regarding each hadith in this collection.
Posting a link is not evidence that you did some in depth research of its content.

Twelvers are the only problem, zaidis don't curse the sahaba, there fiqh is pretty much the same as hanafis, if you saw a zaidi pray you would think he was a hanafi, only there theology is messed up with mutazali theology still strong amongst them, ismailis I could care less will probably be extinct by the end of the century along with the alawi who are not even considered shia by the twelvers.

Shifting goalposts as usual, Iblis.

Nope , same goal posts, I actually originally asked for whether you read it in an actual physical copy of the collection. You posting a link is not evidence that you read the material.

So now people have to read actual physical paper. Whats next? Read the original manuscript? A week later: being actual witness centuries ago?

Whatever their beliefs our job is to restore the prosperity, welfare and stability of our society.
God will evaluate their beliefs on whether they were correct or not.
