^ I have traveled ALL over Southern India, and
there isn't ANYTHING so remarkable there.
    The architecture is merely OK.
There IS, however, a lot of degenerate, vulgar sculpture
    adorning temples.
It's supposed to be "holy", but no one buys that.

The Muslim monuments show far more beauty, elegance as well as : good taste in
    morals.

Who would even travel to India, if it weren't for the Taj Mahal?
It is the major magnet for foreigners around the world to see.
After that, they go back to Delhi and fly out of the country !

A few do visit Fatephur Sikri, Akbar's amazing entire city built
[by himself as well as the laborers !], and his tomb at Sikandra.

But little else is of interest to anyone but specialist students of
    South India.

    So Asad 71 is right.

A few exceptions, though : Lord Curzon, the famous British Viceroy, undertook
to restore the tomb of Akbar which had fallen into disrepair, along with all the
    other great Moghul monuments.

Yeah, that was where the inscription was, thank you, I haven't thought of all
    this in a long time.

To the person who rolling on the floor laughing, Aurangzeb placed RESTRICTIONS
on Hindus, and Christians were not given a huge welcome by any of the Moghul rulers but Akbar, who even then distrusted them immensely but
put up a good show of receptivity probably for reasons of diplomacy regarding
    dealings with European nations.

But neither were taken out and killed or horribly mistreated the way
evil fundamentalist Hindus have done to those who consecrated themselves
as Catholic religious [priests, nuns]. It's BEYOND OUTRAGEOUS.
Yet the West is totally deaf to this terrible peril that their own
co-religionists face from Hindus in supposedly "democratic" INdia.

Hakim Khan Urguni, you should be proud that your
ancestors came from Urgun! Good area, indeed.

While Babur did make plundering raids into Pashtun areas that he mentions in his memories, there is one comment to be made. Momand (a part of Ghorya Khel or Ghori tribal confederacy that included Mullah Goris, Shinwaris, Safis, Daudzais, etc.) at that time were at Muqar, Ghazni and probably were in the process of moving up north following into the footsteps of Khakhi Khel or Khakhis (Yousafzais, Mohammadzais, Jadun, Uthman Khel, Tarklanis, Gigyanis, etc.). But Babar raided Momands as well in Muqar, as he mentions it in his Tuzak. In fact, that is one important piece of information about Momand's location at that time (1500-1520).

Babur also mentions Indians in contemptuous terms.

Having said this, let us also appreciate Babur for his honesty/candidness ---the way he talks about his indulgence into opium, drinking, homosexual tendencies, etc. Moreover, his "Tuzak" are a source of information about the geography, demographic situation, etc. of our areas during the late medieval ages of the region. Mughals were also efficient administrators and must be admired for their architectural and artistic tastes/work.

Also, we should note that Pashtuns were not any better than Babur when did they get the chance.
Tormana you have dug up one gem of information that I have been looking for - thanks. The part about momand migration and their transit in muqur. I know there are momand in and around Ghazni but could not corroborate their presence there. I had assumed Momand were dispersed as far as herat and kunduz among other Pashtun tribes part of pashtunisation, but momand migration from loya Kandahar to Kunar/nangarhar and in FATA I found nothing. Naturally muqur and Ghazni are enroute.

Please provide some references that I can check. Thanks.

Most probably, Momands and other Ghori Khels migrated to the present areas in the second half of 16th Century. Tuzak-i-Baburi is one source that testifies the presence of Momands in Maqur and likely absence in the present areas. The other source is Tawarikh-i-Hafiz Rahmat Khani an account of Khakhi Khels migration to Peshawar Valley and Swat compiled in 1612 AD. In this book, the author mentions in detail the areas where Momands (and other Ghori Khels) live today and the battles/wars that Yousafzais fought with rival tribes like Dalazaks, Degan, Swatis, Gigyanis, etc. but doesn't mention any Momand or other Ghori Khel there although it mentions that in the present Bajuar, Danishkol, Momand Agency Shalmanis, Degans, Swatis (now living in Allai-Batagram, Hazara), Red Kafirs, etc. were living.

Other sources can be Akhund Darwaiza's books e.g., "Tazkir-aul-Abrar Wal Ashrar",... There are also books written specifically about Momands. I could get hold of something, will let you know.

I really don't give a $hit about your opinion. In fact, I would rather people like you do not visit India and sharing their photos with dodgy types , what with all the terrorist attacks in the country.

The language is Persian, I am sure, as that was the court language
              of the Moghuls.

As a matter of fact, my own family had a plaque with this inscription

Look how it deteriorated drastically under the British, Nehru, Indira Gandhi,
              all subsequent figures.

Moghul rulers never physically persecuted Hindus or Christians living in their territories.
But the persecution BY fanatical Hindus of modern Catholics is
a much-suppressed news story so that Catholics around the world

Think about the difference between a benign Moghul rule of

              secular Hindus. And others.
Catya sher, how can you say such things ? Are you a troll or are you stupid ?
I also don't give a damn about your opinion bur you are a retard.
