I have not exaggerated anything about the minorities. The days of Wazir and Mehsud tribesman ransacking the Shamal are over

The sooner us Pakhtuns abandon our hegemonic fantasies the better prepared we are to deal with our own issues

I too admire him but what you stand for doesn't quite match your avatar.

Besides, he was important for us, the people of khyber pakhtunkhwa for his great efforts and sacrifices for the re-awakening of Pakhtun of our part of occupied Pakhtunkhwa but his vision of Pakhtunistan didn't quite match the political stand of that of Afghanistan.

i agree that this guy doesnt stand for what bacha khan stood for.

Take NATO forces out of the equation, do you still see the minority having this elevated state in Afghanistan.
Heres an article that barakzai had posted and this includes your hometown ghazni.
Asia Times Online :: South Asia news, business and economy from India and Pakistan

these things are not real, they have been propped up artificially. these things are not supported by the people. The northerners are subservient to NATO today and who ever rules afghanistan tomorrow. You worry too much.

The breakup of pakistan is more feasable than the breakup of afghanistan. Afghanistan is way more interconnected and interdependent socially and economically, Pakistan is not that interconnected. The only reason it has not collapsed as of yet is because of the welfare it gets from the west.

Ask this question. If Pakistan had the same experience as Afghanistan had in the past 30 years, would Pakistan still be intact. Afghansitan has stayed intact even through all this bloodshed and collapse of government. Afghanistan has gone through the test and has stayed intact, there are many countries that have gone through the test and fell apart.
wrora u need to understand where im coming from

Im not saying at all that the Northerners want to secedde or that they have a strong separatist movement. I agree that Afghanistan has proving to be durable in nationalist terms despite 30 yrs of civil war. no doubt most Afghan citizens wish to remain so

But the dynamic changes completely when you include 25 million Lar Pakhtana. Automatically.

Also, while the level of empowerment the Northerners have today is unprecedent and owing to NATO and the US...it didnt begin today. It began during the Mujahid times when Jamiat and Junbish and the Hazara groups pre Wahdat started to gain power in their areas

Its pretty much institutionalized at this point.

Let us set aside the practical issues at hand, and speak morally and ethically

is it moral and ethical to enforce Pakhtun domination over non Pakhtuns in non Pakhtun lands....

            of course not

Now, if NATO were to leave, then yes the non Pakhtuns are gonna get it hard for the shiit they pulled the last decade. But assuming Pakhtun forces completely conquer the North, it will be a huge cost of blood and resources and the people will never be truly pacified

The merger of Lar Pukhtana won't change the equation for anyone. We have our own immnese natural resources (now under Punjab's control) and population which will bring more opportunities of business and development.

who cares if it doesnt match my avatar....my avatar is not supposed to represent me 100% comprehensively.

Is anybody who has a pic of Pacha Khan, a pacifist Red Shirter....

and I know his vision of Pakhtunistan didnt match Afghanistans. One of the reasons why Loy Afghanistan died

It has been this way before so what is your problem? Offcourse.
are you saying that Pukhtane will start an ethnic attack on other ethnicities once NATO leaves?
North is Afghanistan, wake up smell the coffee,North is full of Pashtuns and other afghan ethnicites.

your scenario is non exitent and only exist in minds of warlords such as khalili and the racist pedram(who had to make a run for his life for merely attacking late amanulah khan)and that amrullah saleh.

                  you need to wake up.

they had you on that show ,no wonder you were biased.

I dont understand how you can say this with a straight face.

The merger of 25 million Pakhtuns wont change the equation for the non Pakhtun minorities of Afghanistan....wow

It is strange. Why did you presume a master-slave relationship? Why are you applying Paki model everywhere?

                      • Its wrong to speak on behalf of lar pukhtuns and wrong to speak on behalf of non pakhtuns and make decisions without there consent. do you people honestly think non pashtuns want to become a part of something which they have nothing to do with. afghan mean pashtun but when a tajik, uzbek etc say they are afghan they are not saying they are pashtun, rather its just a name.

First of all you need to check your tone zoya when speaking on me, my biases and the legitimacy of my views

Who cares if it was like that before. Can a husband justify the continued beating of his wife on the basis that he did it before they had kids so why not after...

Think logically. We dont need more Pashtun soldiers sent to die to oppress others. We need Pashtun brains to build our lands.

You guys are jumping between 5 different arguments and contexts.

Yes the north is full of different ethnic groups who all have overwhelming loyalty to the modern Afghan nation state. But you cant assume that, when you add Lar Pakhtunkhwa

                          It defies logic.

I say this since I don't expect mass migration from one region to another, becuase I don't see any reason for it. The unification of Germany is an example though there was much disparity between the East and West but still they managed it, but here we don't have mcuh economic disparity.

Up until 1978 in Afghanistan, was a Hazara on the same level as a Pakhtun in AFghanistan...............

The issue wont be northern Afghanistan being swamped by Pakhtuns from Chaman and Swat, but rather northern minorities not wanting to be insignificant percentages in a vast Pashtun majority state in every way.
