I never claimed Iranians looked like Germans. But chinki mongols are non-existent and Indian looking ones are also non-existent compared to pashtuns. Genetics don't lie
Actually Ghilzais, the greatest Pashtun tribal, are originally Turkic: Khilij.

Very few Tajiks got Turkic features specially in the Western provinces of Badghis, Herat, Nimruz, Farah and Ghor. People in Badakhshan, Parwan, Kapisa, Kabul, Baghlan and Balkh got also Iranic features. Only place in Afghanistan I have seen Turkic features among Tajiks was in Takhar.

They want us to believe some 5% of their population is representative of 100%. I bet most of posters here don't look ideal "pashtun" if you know what I mean.

I am not a racist at all so I don't care so much about this st*pid racist mumbo jumbo. Even if every Tajik got Turkic features I wouldnt care. Culture is important. Race is not. Persian culture is urban and progressive. Despite all our flaws, we Persianspeakers are working hard to developed and improve our society. Unlike Pashtuns we have made huge achievements in the past 15 years. In a matter of few decades we will become a tolerant, progressive and modern society. I just pity Pashtuns for they have a dark future ahead: Talibanism. I

am really starting to fell attracted to idea of partition. This people are crazy.

Hopefully you guys can work out because otherwise Afghan pashtuns will 100% become culturally Indianzed if partition ever happened.

Whether Persianized or Indianized still better than current Pashtun tribalism.

Pashtuns like to blame on Pakistan and Farsiwans all their troubles. Truth is that worst enemy of Pashtuns are Pashtuns themselves!

How are punjabis minority? Are they not majority in Pakistan? Which proves my point about Pak pashtuns being closer to their hindu neighbours then to Iranians.

I didn't propose border because of large difference in ASI, I'm not racist like you guys! I proposed border to reduce Indian influence on Afghanistan. If and when Taliban are defeated, then every pashtun will adapt Dari/Persian culture just like Pakistani pashtuns have adopted Indian culture since last 200 years.

And I would like to believe if choice is between Indian and Dari/Persian then Afghan pashtuns at least will choose later, Pak pashtuns are lost case.
Pashtuns of both sides of the border are much closer to each other than they are to you Arabian origin (J HG) Semites. In South-Central Asia, the genetically closest non-Iranic people to Pashtuns are Burushos and Dards like Chitralis. "Large differences in ASI", okay my Semitic friend. You guys are actually closer to Anatolians, Caucasians, and Iraqis than to East Iranics (including Tajiks). Persians are always grouped as genetically West Asian. The only thing you Persians (unless you're Tajik, which you sound like) have in common with Tajiks is language. Genetically, you are West Asian whereas they are South-Central Asian.

Lar and Bar Pashtuns plot together.

I meant Punjabis are a tiny minority in Pashtun lands. They mostly stay in their own lands since Pashtun lands are poorer and less safe. The largest number of Punjabis outside Punjab is in Karachi.

Pashtun lands have been part of Pakistan for 70 years, not 200. Which foods do Pashtuns in PK eat that are typically Indian? What typical Indian clothes are worn there?

Afghan Pashtuns won't adopt Persian culture. Since they are the majority, it will be the other way around for a change. Pashtuns have a higher birthrate than non-Pashtuns in both countries they live in and will soon increase in demographics and will Pashtunize more land. Places like Herat and Kabul will soon be consolidated as Pashtun soon.

What Indian tribe are Pashtuns? Where's the source for Al-Biruni calling Pashtuns an Indian tribe? Stop making up stuff. Pashtuns are mentioned in the Rig Veda as "Pakhta", but so are other non-Indics.

As expected you're quite ignorant or just teenager. Pakistani Iranics have been Pakistanis for 70 years but Indians for over 200 years! Prove me wrong if you can

Pakistani pathans on HGDP have up to 36% ASI while Afghan pashtuns have half of that 16%. Yes there are some pathans who are not mixed yet but many who are mixed as one can see in HGDP.

Tajiks and Iranians are closer to each other. Iranians are also closer to Caucasus people. While "Pathans" are closer to their hindu neighbours.

Point is we both knows merger will not happen anytime soon, not even in next 50 years. Imagine what pathans will become in 50 years compared to now? Is there any freedom pathan movement in Pakistan like Baloch struggle?

Outside of Hindkos in Peshawar and Hazara, who don't even look that Indian, there isn't any significant percentage of any Indic ethnic group in KPK.

That plot doesn't show Afghan Pashtuns for comparison. My plot shows plenty of both Afghan and Pak Pashtuns and they both cluster with each other.

36% ASI and 16% ASI? Stop BSing. Both are in the low 20% range on average. 36% is like Gujaratis.

Those Tajiks are Tajikistanis, not Afghan-Tajiks, who cluster with Pashtuns. And Persians are closer to Caucasians than to Tajikistanis and Turkmen, who are mixed with Turks to a significant degree btw.

I said up to 36%, average is around 25% which is still higher then Afghan pashtun 16%. I'm not BSing, data is available to everyone. I don't know about Hindkos but there is Gujarati group on DNA sheet and they have 54% ASI. Hindkos will likely have ASI similar to punjabis.

Anyway point is pathans cluster between afghan pashtuns and punjabis, stop denying obvious scientific data. It only make you look like a fool. Iranians are purest Iranics and DNA reports back my stance.

And you said birth rate will make sure pashtuns win, not if they are Indianized or Persianized which will likely happen. Unless of course you want pashtuns to live like cavemen under Taliban rule while they preserve their culture.

                        Prove it.

Al Beruni mentions the Afghans once (ed Sachau, I 208) saying that in the western mountains of India live various tribes of Afghans who extend to the neighbourhood of the Sindh (ie Indus) valley. Thus in the eleventh century when the Afghans are first mentioned, they are found occupying the Sulaiman Mountains now occupied by their descendents, the very tribes which the advocates of the exclusive claims of the Durannis will not admit to be true Afghans. Al Beruni no doubt also alludes to them in the passage (loc. Cit .p 199) where he says that rebellious savage races, tribes of Hindus, or akin to them inhabit the mountains which form the frontier of India towards the west

The most explicit mentioning of the Afghans appears in Al- Baruni’s Tarikh Al-Hind (eleventh century AD). Here it is said that various tribes of Afghans lived in the mountains in the west of India. Al Baruni adds that they were savage people and he describes them as Hindus

A thousand year has passed since then and you Pashtuns remain savage, uncivilized and unable to change your caveman mentality. Shame on you.

Show me the source of this 36% and 16% then. The chart I showed has plenty of Pashtun samples from both sides of the border yet you keep ignoring it.

Armeno-Iraqis of Arabian origin are not the purest Iranics by any stretch.

Indianization, if it can happen, won't happen until many centuries later. You haven't lived in Pakistan to know how vastly different Pashtuns are from Hindus culturally. Afghan refugees that go to KPK assimilate perfectly well there due to speaking the same language and having the same culture. Just cause we don't eat ashak or mantu doesn't mean we're Indianized.

Persianization of Pashtuns is simply impossible right now and only a Persian pipe dream considering: Pashtuns are in power, Pashtuns are the majority, and Pashtuns have a rising population in Afghanistan. If anything, the Persophone Tajiks will be re-Pashtunized.

India was a geographic region back then with different people defining it differently. Pashtuns have always lived east of the Indus River and Strabo documented it as part of the Iranian civilization, as opposed to the Indian civilization which was east of the Indus River:

Part of a complete English translation of Strabo. Site contains many Greek and Latin texts, translations and related material.

Hindu was the generic term for polytheists. Even Muhammad ibn Suri of the Ghaurid Dynasty was described by Arabs as a Hindu.

The "purest" Iranics would be East Iranics like Pamiri peoples, Yaghnobis and other Tajiks and Pashtuns..it is well known that they have the most Proto Indo-Iranian ancestry. Much more than Iranians.

Of course the relationship is getting better, there are more and more pan-Iranists or pan-Persian supporters.
Bring glory to your culture? Beside bacha bazi of course, what culture do you chinky Mongols have that wasn't stolen off Iranians?

Let me get to real history now. God knows what Tajiks were before the advent of Islam but I'll start at the advent of Islam. When the Arabs invaded Persia, some of the Persian leaders fled to Central Asia. There, they imposed their Persian culture on the people, who were Tajiks. This shows that Tajiks are just Persian-speaking people and not Persians. Just because someone speaks English and adapts English culture doesn't make him an Anglo-Saxon. Now after this, the Mongol armies started invading. Because of the controversy with the Khorezmian (Persian) rulers, they completely obliterated the land, and raped a lot of people in what is now Tajikistan. This intermixing led to the chinky-Mongol look that most Tajiks have. After countless invasions, their weak culture and faith began to show. Russians invaded your Tajikistan and look where they are at now; thank the Pashtuns for protecting you, otherwise your name would be Vladimir and you would've been speaking Russian. That is the story of Tajiks, you aren't Persian.

Aha, of course that retard pseudo-historian Afghanfootball liked your post teeming with misinformation. Tajiks don't need Pashtuns to protect them. If you'd actually read some history books you'd realize that Tajiks fought in all three Anglo-Afghan wars. Mir Masjidi Khan Kohistani and Mir Bacha Khan Kohdamani are prominent Tajiks who resisted the British. The most effective and organized Mujahideen factions against the Soviets were Tajik and this is universally recognized!

And the Basmachi movement which resisted the Soviets in Central Asia lasted longest in Tajikistan. If the English and Russians weren't insistent on maintaining Afghanistan as a buffer state then Pashtuns would have met the same fate as Central Asians, retard. It has nothing to do with any inherent bravery unique to Pashtuns. Pakistani Pashtuns are too cowardly to escape the yoke of Punjabi rule and even fought for the British army, rofl.

Tajiks were East Iranic peoples like Bactrians, Soghdians, etc. before the Islamic invasions and had advanced civilizations on the crossroads of Central Asia. You are wrong about the history of Parsi-e-Dari as well. Dari was in use in Eastern Iranic lands even before the Islamic invasions and propagating Dari became the most optimal way of maintaining our Iranic culture and civilization in the face of Arab hegemony. The Samanids who were a Tajik dynasty and most credited with reviving Persian culture were native to Central Asia and that is why Farsi has East Iranic loanwords. All the Persian-speaking luminaries of Eastern Iranic lands like Avicenna were native to regions like Balkh and Bukhara and not western Iran, so yes it is appropriate to refer to them as Tajik.

Those "chinky" looking Tajiks from Tajikistan actually cluster west of most Pashtuns. They are genetically closer to Iranians, Chechens, Turks, etc. than you are.
