The relationship between Pashtuns from Afghanistan and Pakistan is actually quite good. We meet each other at social gatherings and there are even marriages between Pashtuns from two sides of the Durand Line.

However, the relationship with Pathans is very problematic. We Afghans have a problem dealing with Pathans from Pakistan and their stupidity and silliness.

Pathans have a tendency to talk from their behind and define their self image/identity by a piece of paper they are carrying.

Pathans also have better relationship with Punjabis and Kashmeeris. They dont like to socialize with Pashtuns allot.

With all due respect but something like that happens to me too: I just can't stand Pashtospeakers. Most of them are always bragging about how brave and perfect they are. They are annoying.

Dont take it personally. Its just my experience. Most of Pashtuns are nice people but their nationalism is boring.

I also have allot of problems dealing with Heratis. I need an interpretor to understand what they are saying because they talk like Turkish gay people trying to speak Dari.

        They're like Iranian rejects.

Shove over kharay. Just because you've marginalised by the Pashtuns and are bitter does'nt mean you get to be our voice. Euphemism.

Trust me. The pathans and gul khans in Khyber are the outcasts, the marginalised rejects. So....... they veer towards what they percieve as their sovereign and where they get their desi/pakistani nationalist provender, the punjabis.

We get on quite well, more so than with anyone else. The only exceptions are desified and persianised Pashtuns who have both more in common farsiwans/punjabis etc than fellow Pashtuns but the vast majority of Pashtuns on both side are almost the same. Me and my relatives all know people from Pakhtunkhwa and there have been intermarriages both in the west and in Pakistan. One of my relatives is married to a man from Waziristan but they live in Peshawar. Its not really surprising since we are one and the same people divided by an artificial border.

Even here in sweden its a pretty strong relationship. I didnt see any pashtuns in this country when i was going to dinners by those paki uncles but then when i finally did get to meet pashtuns tbere was clearly a lar o bar brotherhood there(not to forget that alot of pak pashtuns come here as afghans) and its not just that but i see more pashtuns here hanging out with farsiwans and hazaras(sweden should be renamed hazarajat tho tbh) than punjabis.

Wow the Muhajir struck gold. That now is a passport to Afghan claim for every single future child to come, bearing in mind that ethnicity depends on paternal lineage. LOL.
