Do you have dual nationality?......if you have not discarded your Pakistani nationality, then you are still Pakistani whether you like it or not.Originally posted by Nekrofrost View PostI was referring to myself as pakistani untill recently to people in my school cuz they associated me with india and "poonjabi"

And that Muhajir will tell at every turn that his wife is "Pathani" whenever he cracks a Pathan joke or says some thing offensive about them. A Pashtun dont talk with pradi about the background of his wife , mother, wrendara etc...but i have observed this weird behavior of Punjabis and other desis that they announce around that their mother , grandmother ,bhabi and wife is "Pathani"......every second Punjabay seem to have Pathan mother and when you ask him he should be knowing some Pashto, he is unable to utter a single Pashto word.......Originally posted by Charsi Malang View PostWow the Muhajir struck gold. That now is a passport to Afghan claim for every single future child to come, bearing in mind that ethnicity depends on paternal lineage. LOL.

Cut the bull **** Luffy. Punjabis and Pashtuns don't even get married unless they are part of Jamat. And even then they don't mention race or ethnicity. You are trying to reinforce negative stereotypes just to garner support for ethnic nationalism.Originally posted by Samandri View PostAnd that Muhajir will tell at every turn that his wife is "Pathani" whenever he cracks a Pathan joke or says some thing offensive about them. There are only 2 circumstances that Punjabi/Pashtun weddings happen.
1. If they are religious
2. Big city love marriage, which is still not even popular and very rare
Go hate on someone else.

This isn't surprising that surprising, Karachi is full of Kandaris. All shops which people associate with pathans are actually owned by Kandaris. Surprising thing would be millions living among muhajirs and some not getting married.Originally posted by Nekrofrost View PostThat reminds me of how over here there was this one muhajir dude who was married to a kandahari.

The problem my friend is, that Karachi was (true to his name) a pretty archetypal representation of his people. Trust me, I have known many of them and they all seemed to display the same attributes. Of course not every single one is like that as I know a couple who are pretty cool guys. However there are a few few very strong traits that are commonly seen amongst this group. I will break it down for everyone.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostWhats wrong with marrying a Muhajir? 1. Claiming to be Pathan or Afghan (Yusufzai is a favourite tribe they affiliate themselves with) yet not one of them or their former generations can speak a word of Pashto. They will argue with you till the cows come home that they are more Pashtun/Pathan than you and that a lack of Pashto language doesn't mean anything as their "dadi" or "nani" was a Pathani
2. Their facial expresssions change when they hear you speaking Pashto
3. Their mimicry of Pashto language and/or naswar or bacha bazi/homosexuality jokes is relentless while they take pride in that disgusting "paan" habit of theirs.
4. They all have parents/grandparents born in India (normally U.P. or Bihar)
5. They are very proud of their Indian heritage and their Urdu language and see themselves as more intelligent than other ethnicities.
These are things I have noticed amongst this group of people after many years of dealing with themLast edited by Charsi Malang; 04-22-2017, 07:56 PM.

Tbh now that I think about it I've noticed these exact same traits among many Muhajirs. But like you said there are a lot of good people among them as well.Originally posted by Charsi Malang View PostThe problem my friend is, that Karachi was (true to his name) a pretty archetypal representation of his people. majority of Hilly Rajputs are the product of these cross breeding and want to disassociate with their past. rajputs with rajwadi surnames consider themeselves superior but those native kings who look darker gets mocked as "gola" (mix breed, son of rakhile) so they actually invite light skinned rajputs and kshatriya tribes from Jammu region such as jamwals to sleep with their women so that their wives can give birth to pure white looking Native Child.

That's cool. TBH I also feel a kind of "connection" when meeting Persians and Kurds. It would probably be even deeper if I spoke Farsi.Originally posted by Nekrofrost View PostEven here in sweden its a pretty strong relationship. I didnt see any pashtuns in this country when i was going to dinners by those paki uncles but then when i finally did get to meet pashtuns tbere was clearly a lar o bar brotherhood there(not to forget that alot of pak pashtuns come here as afghans) and its not just that but i see more pashtuns here hanging out with farsiwans and hazaras(sweden should be renamed hazarajat tho tbh) than punjabis.Originally posted by Kaushika

That's exactly what I do. I tell them I'm ethnically Afghan but from Pakistan. The very educated people immediately figure out that I'm Pashtun.Originally posted by Nekrofrost View PostNah i know im paki but having to explain to people how i aint punjabi or indian gets annoying af so i say im from the afghan part of pakistan and to get them to understand where im from.Originally posted by Kaushika

You are damn right, i have observed the same. I have deeply studied Rohillas of 18th century and i have come to know that proper Rohillas/Pashtuns had large number of Serfs under them, all of whom were indigenous Indians including Hindus. They were called "chelas" and they were also counted as Rohillas by association. They used "Khan" as last name like their masters and were considered "Rohillas" and Pathans by others. Even the Hindu Rajputs of Katehr began to call themselves "Rohilla Rajputs. So majority of these Indian-Mohajirs claiming to be Pathans have actually nothing to do with the latter.Originally posted by Charsi Malang View PostThe problem my friend is, that Karachi was (true to his name) a pretty archetypal representation of his people. Also many converts from Hinduism (mostly from low castes) throughout India adopted the Khan title.....their descendants continued to use Khan title , and as nowadays it is associated with Pashtuns, so they think they have some thing to do with Pathans. Just few weeks ago i posted a historical Photo of Orakzais on my Facebook page. Some Indian man calling him "Rohilla" commented that do Pashtuns still wear Lung/Dhoti in their native areas?. When i told him that Dhoti is Indian and Punjabi dress and Pashtuns have nothing to do with it, he insisted that their grandfathers and generations before them wore Dhoti so it must be original dress of Pakhtunkhwa. I silenced that fake Pathan by posting 19th century Photographs of Rohillas none of whom were wearing Dhoti....i also told him that a Pashtun will die but he will not wear Dhoti, him and all of the Pathans of his village are in all probability fake Pathans.

Maybe small minority claim to be pathans. Tell me one MQM politician who said he's pathan. Urdu speakers muhajirs were elite of India from cities while pathans in India lived in villages and didn't migrate.Originally posted by Charsi Malang View PostThe problem my friend is, that Karachi was (true to his name) a pretty archetypal representation of his people. Proud of being urdu speaker, eating pan and being educated is true. Literacy rate is 100% among muhajirs. Some may also think they are better then others. But it's like saying all pathans are stupid naswar smoking bacha baz.
Racist jokes about pathans isn't one way street, look at your posts. Though muhajirs hate Afghans because of their criminal nature and backwardness and want them out of Karachi and Pakistan. Claiming to be afghan today in Pakistan mean one way ticket to Kabul by rangers.Last edited by logical; 04-22-2017, 10:17 PM.
