I see well likely last comment on the subject but just a few comments. It has been my experience that Pakistani Baloch also speak other languages generally - Pashto and Urdu primarily. Its just illogical to think the Baloch live in cities where languages other then Balochi are spoken and they completely don't speak with those people.

They intermix with other ethnic groups about as much as Pashtoons do primarily when they go into the cities or other countries especially Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, etc. - there is a lot of them who are of mixed ancestry. Minorities inter-marry with other groups all the time actually moreso because of a lack of family ties, inability to bring someone from "back home" or just getting use to living with the majority and it not being as weird to marry one of them. I personally know of the Arab inter-mixing and with Pashtoons as well, it's not that big of a deal although its not as widespread as with other ethnic groups. I mean, you mentioned the Brahui yourself as an Indic group and they are, to paraphrase you, so inter-mixed with the Baloch now that you can't tell the difference so it's not impossible.

With the patriarchal point, it was a type - I meant to say whatever your father is the child is as well. I think that addresses most of what you covered, Jumaa day puh khair.

Of course, every ethnic groups mixes. But the mixage ratio is small when it comes to places like Quetta, or Kandahar. The reason is because pashtun Population is thrice times bigger than the Baloch, so the Baloch need a sense of identity because they can easily be called a Pashtun. So mixing per ratio is very very small. Not that they don't, they do. But it's quiet small. You are pashtun, Your daughter speaks Pashto, why would you give your daughter to a Baloch guy if he speaks Balochi, how would they communicate? would they communicate through Urdu? Most likely Because almost Everyone knows Urdu in Balochistan, it's like English, to communicate. But that being the children speaking Urdu will most likely marry someone who speaks Urdu as well, becaues they won't know Balochi or Pashto, so they will most likely marry an urdu girl. But Yeah i agree with most of your points, But you have to turn your face and look at things differently too. As I told you, the mixage ratio is small. But everyone mixes, Pashtoons mix too but because they are very huge in population, they don't worry about stregnthening their identity becaues their idenrity is well known and already strong. And still Pashtuns hardly mix. I would like to add this point with your point and finish this, unless you want to say more things, I'm definelty here to tell you. The Regi tribe are ethnic Baloch. He's an iranian baloch from sistan-va Baluchestan province. I do appologize however, for my mistake that he was killed by Pakis. Thanks for correcting.
