But then why Indian and Faki opted for independence from the British rule because using your logic British were more powerful, more technologically advanced, more civilised and more knowledgeable.

They have not lost Pashtunwali. History maybe, we were not taught it in school. Not pashto. Have you been to the rural areas in pashtunkhwa. They have their pashto intact just fine. Wrora criticize where it is needed, but don`t make such outlandish claims. This reminds of the people who saw a few from Kabul, and assumed dari was the ultimate in Afghanistan.

Like sindhis pashtuns can make pashto a compulsory subject & make it official langauge of province, but they in sort of coma.
But amazingly pashto literature is still surviving in pakhtunkhwa. To find books of pashto , you have to visit peshwar not kabul.

And when you listen to Afghan Pashtu songs you find alot of Farsi in it?lol Stop digging your head in the sand and don't hate us. It will take you decades to come to our level when it comes to Pashtu language and Pashtuns culture. There is no Farsification and I am telling you this with 110% confidence, Pashtuns are more aware and consious of their langauge in Afghanistan particularly than they have ever been in the history. Why would I need any reason to lie to you? We have tons of channels, our music, litrature and progressive discources are thriving.

The litrature that is surviving is largely due us. Most books are printed in Peshawar but not read in Peshawar. And ofcourse the 4 million Pashtuns who lived there all were using Pashtu text books in their schools.

There is no point of having those books. Majority of you will not be able to transalate a single scholaray/academic piece from English in to Pashtu. I if I were to speak to you in Pashtu, you won't last more than two minutes with diluting our beautiful language with English and Pakjabi. Take a hike!

Don't worry about Afghan Pashtu songs. Worry about Nazia Iqbal and her crew: DA PASHTTANO DROOND AW SHAISTA COLTOR NA MO TSA SHAY JOOR KARI ZAMILANO. LA TER OOSA HUM WODA YAAST!

Watch any Afghan channel and compare it to your Khyber TV and you will realise the world difference. I watched when I was in Quetta couple of years ago, very disappointing. HAGHA HUM MA AWREDALI CHE DA PANJABI CHANNLE DE... piss taking.

To learn proper and pure Pastu I suggest you watch any of these channels, I would specifically recommed you VOA Pashtu which is only Pashtun news and they rest are mixed. Or RTA which is mostly Pashtun, our national tv channel. http://livetv.afghansite.com/

Afghansoldier ! Beware of Khyberwatch. It is mainly meant to enhance disparity among Pashtun/afghans of both sides. It's purpose is to send wrong signals to the people of Afghanistan that if you have any hope from Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa then they will go sore. The distorted language they use is a deliberate attempt to deculture Pashtuns. Even in Peshawar many people hate that channel. Thanks to Shamshad Tv, many prefer to watch it now even in far flung villages through satellite dishes.
