^Sher Shah Suri was a proud Afghan, Lodhi was a proud of Afghan
not so sure how much sense that makes.
Both were indian afghans. Lodhi and suri dynasties of india are not related to history of afghanistan.
Buddy you need to plunge into history because your every comment is "that does'nt make sense" history has nothing to do with your sense.
I hate Pashtuns who said "oh I hate Afghans"
Just yestaday my cousin came my house and he "yaara zama da Afghania deer badishe".
I told him "do you know what Afghan means", and he said "no".
its just ignorant.
And he start saying "oh We came from different ethic group then Afghans, we are different from them".
Walae za, ya tor khan ya pir rokhan zaan tha na waayuu :-)
Shlomblae peera many grew in pak studies system so they have been cut off from their history. However, we in Pashtunkhwa have Afghan as our nation on our domicile and other documents. ..rest assured no one can take our name from us. Provincial autonomy will help revive our history and identity, which has been sidelined for so long. All in good times. We were Afghans, we are Afghans and we will continue to be inshallah :-)/
I also feel like the love is 1 way.
Afghan Pashtuns love Pakistani Pashtuns but the love does not return.
In return we get the Pashtun dominated ISI that wishes to ruin our Afghanistan.
Shlomblae ISI is not dominated by Pashtuns, if it was would we let them ruin Pashtunkhwa? Is that a plausible concept. There are Pashtuns in ISI, but don't think it is only Pashutnkhwa pashtuns who work for them, there are just as many Pashtuns of Afg who did their work. Hekmatyaar being their primary person. Or tanhraii? Lets not forget taliban higher ranks in the 90s...they all were hand in hand with ISI. So it is unfair to say that. Pashtunkwha pashtuns also have affinity and love for Afghanistan pashtuns, if we didn't we would not have fought side by side Afghanistan in the third anglo-afghan war, the 80s, the 90s, and even today (this was despite the fact that we were leased out to britain). Who are the majority of the fighters fihgting against NATO? It is people from both sides of the durand. Millions live in Pashtunkhwa..granted not every had a good time, but those who lived in malakand, swat, buner, qibaeel, junubii pashtunkhwa were always treated with respect. We could have done what the panjab and sindh government did with swat IDPs when they closed the doors on them, but we didn't, you are our people for better or worse.
Also majority of pashtuns don't want ISI ruining Afghanistan, we never wanted it, but we are also stuck in this strategic depth game.....we are all against it. ISI is a dukhman of pashtuns in pashtunkhwa and Afghanistan. If some are in the upper brass that is the nature of life, you need to coopt a portion of society in order to further your interests. That is what they have done to Pashtunkhwa.
^90 percent of the warriors fighting against the 40+ countries are Pashtuns from Afghanistan. The battlefield is in Afghanistan, the "Mujahadeen" as you Muslims call it are all from the Afghan side with a slight minority from Pakistan who wishes to support them.
The real truth will occur when you visit Peshawar where they call Afghan Pashtuns Muhajir,Mordagow and Baghora.
The truth is not as pretty as you are painting it.
I lived in Peshawar so I am very aware of what peshawris say...no need to be so patronizing. BTW I already told you that not everyone had a great time, but there are a lot in other parts of Pashtunkhwa. I used the term mujahideen generically...but I can tell you that at the onset of the NATO invasion, 10,000 people from malakand division alone crossed the durand to side with the taliban. Now I am not endorsing them, but this is just from malakand division alone....so you can imagine how many more from others.
BTW in the third anglo-afghan war, more Pashtuns of Pashtunkhwa fought in it, then Afghan natl army. So these are historical facts. I was merely pointing out that shlomblae made an unfair generalization. I backed it up with facts. Peshawar is not the entire Pashtunkhwa, anymore than kabul is all of Afghanistan. Believe even the worst treatment of Peshawarees (where there were such people) pales into comparison from the brotherly love swat/buneri/shanglae IDPs got from sindh and panjab. Refugee life is not easy for anyone...its not like Maseed IDPs in DI Khan were put on a throne.

حقيقت ده دې چې ټول پښتانه افغانان دي
Quite right BLS. Shared history, shared divisions, shared joy and shared politics. And if we don't get it right, shared failure. Why? Because Afghan = Pashtoon and we have the same enemies.
Bilkul wror jaana...whatever trivial differences we have, we have to work to erase them. If some of our people from Afghanistan suffered in Peshawar, we condemn it...similarly they have to be cognizant that we didn't choose to be divided from Afghanistan, we were leased out and had to suffer 50+ years fighting british. In return, we lost our unity, nearly our identity which we finally partially are starting to reclaim. Things like this take time but it will happen. We are still far closer together than the German or Korean. Sadly the germans got their unity and Koreans are more aware of their own...whereas we are lost.
Like I said before, ISI policy destroyed Afghanistan as much as it has destroyed and is destroying Pashtunkhwa. A few co opted army type pakhtuns or those in GHQ doesn't change that the majority are suffering. For every one naseerullah babar there was a hekmatyaar, and for every hekmatyaar there is an amir muqaam and for that amir muqaam there is a Shah nawazz thanhraee.
Ofcourse Afghans don't hate normal Pakistanis. Why lie to yourselves; most Afghan Pashtuns now despise Pakistani state/politcs. I belive this will only widen than be bridged anytime soon due to Pakistani policy. I am a nationalist Pashutn and on a political level no I do not like Pakistan at all. Do I like Pakistani nationalist or Pashtun nationalist? Of course the latter.

But this is a blatant lie. Most of the militants or their leadership and mentors belong to Punjab. Extremists religious outfits like Let, Lashkar Jangwi, Sepah e Suhaba, Jaish Mohammad etc. all originate from Punjab and they have hundreds of thousands of trained terrorists. Just a few days ago Col. Imam and Brig. Khwaja were on their way to Waziristan, a place where even a common man can't dare to go these days. But luckily they were found missing since then. Perhaps they were on a training visit to the area.
The real source of terrorism in the region and world is the ISI, and Taliban and Al Qaeda are its brainchildern; terrorism is Pakistan's tools to comply its foreign policy objectives. The present wave of terrorism in Afghanistan and the whole Pashtun land (in Swat, Khyber, Momand, Waziristan, Bajawar, Orakzai etc) is due to the sinister strategic depth dream of the Punjabi establishment.
