Marriage to non-Pashtuns

Quite a lot of pakhtuns went over into Punjab for work and business because they were poor and they had to settle for the natives..what of those eh?

So they choose to marry a Punjabi for Money, there are many poor pashtuns who live in pashtun region and they dont marry outside for money.

Instend of marrying a rich punjabie why don't they marry a rich pashtun?
I won't mind marrying a women in UK or north America, I can teach them my culture and pashto, and she can teach me hers.

No Pashtun man nor Pashtun women should marry outside of their tribe or Pashtun identity.

I look down in shame at those Pashtun men who marry European women to feel so upper class, i would hang those traitors with a thick rope.

For example, I would love to live in Canada, but i would never want to marry a European Canadian or a native Indian, I would respect their culture and values.

I am talking about Pashtunwali. Pashtun men can marry non-pashtun women AS LONG AS they continue the culture and the woman adapts to it.

As i said in my previous posts, Pashtunwali needs to be reformed.

Marrying Non Pashtuns is sick, and Real Pashtun who cares for his people wouldnt want that.

I would love my people to be isolated from the disease of this world. This whole multiculturalism, Radicalism, flith and crime.

I wish to make pashtuns all under one platform.

You know, there was a time when Pashtuns would marry russian woman to show how strong communists they were, now they do it to show how strong muslims they are.

I would make it a crime to marry outside of being pashtuns.

Death sentence would be most suited.

Wow. With the highly technologically advanced world we live in today, good luck in trying to "isolate" Pashtuns from what you consider a "disease."

Killing people because they married outside their tribe or ethnicity? Hmm... since you love to bring Islam into so many posts of yours, I'd like to ask here: From an Islamic perspective, how would you explain killing others just because they married a non-Pashtun? How would you explain that to God? And do you think the Prophet would approve of your killing people because they didn't marry Pukhtuns like you want them to?

Thank God that LEGALLY death is not the punishment for those who marry outside their culture/race! What a backward thinking that so is.

I mean, to promote the unity of a people, to ENCOURAGE people to marry within their culture - that's different, and I totally support it. But to say that if they don't hold the same mentality (i.e., they don't think marrying Pashtuns is as important as it is to you), you'd kill them -- that's just ... wow! Backward, cruel, insane, and many other things bad.

And you don't think as a Canadian I wouldn't want the same my children and family?

And you don't think as a Muslim nearly every single parent out there wants to protect their kids from the haram in this world?

It isn't just you my friend. Many people - of many cultures try to protect their loved ones.

However, I think multiculturalism is beautiful. Maybe you don't know much about it. But it is wonderful. I very much so wouldn't want to marry outside of my culture (if I had one), but I would not deny my children from learning other cultures. They would love their own so much that they wouldn't give it up for any other cultures, but it would teach them to respect others and be more educated as to the world around us and not just one tiny part of the world.

Wow, so much racism and hatred and shallowness going on here! My goodness - looks?! Entire continents of people receiving this sort of thinking from us? Quite appalling, to say the least!

We think we -- Pashtuns -- are beautiful, and the people of Africa think they are beautiful; Arabs (non-African Arabs included) think THEY are beautiful, and Chinese think they're beautiful.

All groups people beleive their own people are more beautiful than others, sometimes even while acknowledging that others are beautiful as well.

So, yeah, while you think Pashtuns are important and beautiful people, some in Africa must totally disagree with you and think that they're more important and beautiful than you are.

We're all humans, for God's sake. Our cultural, geographical, etc. differences shouldn't prevent us from giving all humans the respect that they deserve simply for being humans, for being AMONGST us (if being amongst us deserves any respect all). What I mean is that they're just as human as you are, and while you think lowly of them, not all of them think highly of you either -- and rightly so, what with the loads of violence your posts are laden with!

You're representing Pashtuns, man! Could you be a bit more tolerant and less violent, preferably not violent at ALL? Actions begin with thoughts, first, and so far, your posts aren't sending a positive message, a message of peace to the world - or even to Pashtuns! Really, KILLING people is not the proper way to make a point. I wonder when we'll learn this.
