Marriage to non-Pashtuns

Pashtun guy usually marries non pashtun especially if they are tajik or uzbek because uzbek and tajiks are white. They rarely marry punjabi because P unjabis habe dark skin. But pashtun woman in very rare cases marry non pashtun. My mom is 50% baloch but her grandfather came from quetta they settled in Afghanistan and my grandfather never even mentioned he was baloch he got integrated into pashtun society so much that he didn't even speak balochi and all of hus daughters were married to Pashtuns. So that makes me 25% baloch from mom side. But i have other relatives who live in a city they are half uzbek and persian but speak fluent pashto.

And 80% of Quetta's population is Pashtun, so how was your grandfather from there? it be more likely that he was Pashtun rather than baluch and since when was intermarriage common between Pashtuns and Balochi's? I always thought they kept to themselves and admired each other from a distance.

I heard most of the modern Baluch population are integrated Pashtuns who adopted a west-iranic language.

P.S. Some Pashtuns do in-fact marry with Punjabis in Pakistan.

Hi, I assume you're asking me whether I speak Armenian? No, unfortunately I don't. My mother's family is quite Russified. I do vaguely remember my great-grandmother speaking Armenian to her neighbours. My Armenian skills however do not reach further than the sentence inch bes es? Lol.
