I am extremely worried about the increasing distance between the Pashtuns of Afghanistan and Pakistan ,,there is a need of more songs like this otherwise Pashtuns on both sides of the border will deem themselves as different races,,,,yes races because already they belong to two different nations ,,,Pakistani and Afghanistani or afghan,,,,,,,,,

Pashtuns on both sides of the durand line belong to one family, one blood, one language, one culture , one past but now being being part of two different countries,,distance is increasing between them..Pashtuns in Paksitan are coming under influence of Panjabis and Urdu speakers and Pashtuns in Afghanistan are coming under influence of Tajiks and Persian speakers.

What do you suggest how Pashtuns on both sides can be culturally and linguistically united ?????Their cultural and linguistic unity is the only possibility as their political unity is now an unattainable dream

What about your comments that how distance between Pashtuns on both sides of the durand line can be reduced and they may come together atleast culturally???? They must be realistic in their approach.Some Pashtuns on both sides want merger of Pashtuns areas which is impossible as how Afghanistan will leave its non -Pashtun areas to be merged with Pashtun areas for a greater Pashtunistan ,,,impossible,,,and how Pakistan will let its Pashtun areas to be separated,,,,,,thats would be too impossible for Pakistan ,,,,,,

I wish we discuss here how Pashtuns from both sides of the durand line can be united at least culturally,psychologically and liguistically if not politically.

I REQUEST FRIENDS FROM PAKISTAN AND AFGHANISTAN TO PARTICIPATE AND GIVE THEIR FEED BACK ON THE ISSUE

As the distance is increasiing and we must learn from nations who speak the same language and have the same culture but are politically different ,,,,,for example all Arab,Spanish,German, French ,English etc speaking people are not the citizens of the same countries but psychologically ,linguistically , culturally they have enormous ties and meet each other in all such events and try to develop linkages which further strenghten thier bonds

We pashtuns on both sides of the border if cant become one nation politically at least can feel one ethnic group and sons of the same father living in different houses ,,,,,,,We must encourage connections with each other by marriages,conferences,and friendships,. We must feel near to an Afghan Pashtun than to a Pakistani Panjabi and vice versa

If you are talking about the military presence of foreign troops, it is a reality, who are you to condemn that when you country facilitated that and you're country is also being targeted by drones. More over they are there under the authorisation and impritur of the U.N. What is your problem?

I have no problem, hundreds of afghanistanis have agreed with me that unfortunately dari is very dominant over pashto in their country...you are probably ashamed of this fact or probably you are ignorant about the fact....i am not happy over the increased farsifaction in afghanistan....when afghanistanis claim that afghanistan is motherland of pashtuns and gaurdian of pashto, then they have to make pashto a primary langauge not secondary....people of pakhtunkhwa consider afghanistan as motherland of pashtuns and garh of pashto, dont disappoint them......

You are such jumplehead, I guess it was some one else creating threads about Afghanistan being this and that. I understand its some sort of complex if you know what I mean. We are not disappointing no one and honestly and frankly we really don't care that much about people like you as you are of no significance any way. There is no such a thing as Afghanistani, the nationality is called Afghan, just in case you are reading some kind of obscure textbook or randon websites again as your source of information. Dari and Pashtu are enjoying equal status and Pashtu is the language of majority of Afghans and is what lends recognition to a country called Afghanistan. Save your BS you might need it. There are people be it the sold outs inside Afghanistan and Pathans in the form of running dogs of Panjab in ISI who have abused their mother. Mother is something sacred and I wonder if Afghansitan is your motherland, I doubt it any way. Have respect for Pashtunkhwa and its dignity and that is enough. Don't feel edgy when a Pashtun criticises you from clean heart for certain short comings and beghairati, after all we are all called Pashtuns and it pisses us off when our pride is violated either in Afghanistan or in Pashtunkhwa. Pashto suffers in Pakistan as it has no status.

There is difference dear, you cant compare pakistan and afghanistan when former is not a pashtun country (only%14). you want pashto to be national langauge of pakistan?
I live in peshawer, so i think you have not roamed enough in peshawer. There are hinkowans in city , so they will naturally speak hinko ( basically peshawer is theirs).....But still peshawer and quetta are much better than kabul and qandhar despite having large nomber of other ethnicities....visit my lakki marwat or tank or karak or mardan or bannu............then you are free to made the comment regarding condition of pashto and pashtuniyiat in pakhtunkhwa....

I have already mentioned i dont consider afghansitan as motherland of pashtuns, i am not impressed from it.
I have feelings for only on place in afghanistan, katawaz, paktia......from where my forefathers have came.
