We Pashtuns are all Afghan. We are Afghan by ethnic group.

It is illogical to say "Are you Afghan" and the reply "No I am Pakistani" Hearing that from a Pashtun is the most ignorant thing earth.

Because you dont have enough brain to understand what does it mean to be a Pakistani Afghan.

Pashtuns have been living in Pakistan for centuries and we allowed 3 Million Afghanis in our country because they were getting Butchered by Russians , Their womens were being kidnapped and raped on a mass scale.

We let them live in Pakistan thus they became Pakistani Afghans , no one ever complained why so many afghans were allowed in our country in the first place.

There were few hundered Afghans trying to get into Australia illegaly through boats and this is what they did to them.

Afghan has been an alternative name for us since at least 700AD which has been recorded I believe that we Pashtun are Afghan.

Allah SWT has made clear in Quran that the tribes are made for Ideantification ONLY and there is no Pride in belonging to a certain tribe but Taqwaa.

There is nothing special about being a pashtun or afghan or a sindhi or a punjabi they all belong to same Blood since they all are Muslims.

I am a Pakistani but I am an Afghan by ethnicity.

I realized if I say no I am not an Afghan, my language which I found it is known as "Afghani" and my culture, and my history is all useless. because in my culture and history I am known as an Afghan.

Well if you ask anyone they would have a simmilar history , culture blah blah and most of our cultures are outdated and need to be changed according to the Islamic values.

Our culture supresses women , they are tied up in houses for their whole life , they are killed for disobediance , they are sold for money .

So one can be a Afghan from Afghanistan or Pakistani Afghan or American Afghan.

Whoever lives in a country , belongs to that nation.

We Pashtuns are all one. There is no difference between a Pashtun from Pakistan or a Pashtun from Afghanistan. We were part of the same country for ever. We recently in 1947 parted way that does not make us a separate group.

No one has ever tried to make afghans separate & everyone has the right to get along well with their own people as long as it wont harm their National interests.

I as a citizen of Pakistan am a proud Afghan.

I wish you would have been a Proud Pakistani Too.

Need of time is Unity.
Basicall my wish is that All pashtuns in Pakistan must get their proper rights, and we shd have better relations with our neighbor Afghanistan.
My first dream is United Pakistan!
If limits will be crossd, then definitely movements may start for Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan among pakistani pashtuns too. I'll have no problem with that too. May God bless our Nation!

I am from pashtun tribe of marwat, no one can question level of pashto (pashtunwali) in marwats. Marwats are pakistani citizens and consider themselves pakistanis. Yet they are considered pashtuns and will be considered pashtuns... Same is the case with rest of pashtun tribes in Pakhtunkhwa....i.e leaving pakkistani citizenship is not a criteria for being a pashtun .Also afghanistanis have no authority on pashtunism and declaring some one non-pashtuns.
I am not suffering from identity crisis like Bls or sarbaz khan who live in west and do not represent pashtuns of pakhtunkhwa. People like them have citizenship of respective countries in west and dont care (or do not know) about ground realities in pakhtunkhwa, they just spread twisted facts, corrupting minds of kids of e-world with hate and racism.
I am afghan and i do not need certificate of afghanistanis to be afghan. Idiot like should understand that our forefathers (lodhis) have established great dyansty in india which had nothing to do with afghansiatn or pakistan.
