In Kunar mainly there are Shinwaris, mamund and safis. I am Safi.

I dislike tribes.

Tribes are just flowers of one tree. All Pashtuns are one but divided in different colours of flowers in the form of tribes. But if you just say I am Pashtun , thats enough because you identify yourself with the whole, the tree, not the part, the flower.

Of course. Most people in Kunar speak pashto. Some speak nuristani, others speak pasha'i and some people speak farsi. But most speak pashto.

Kunar is the only place in Afghanistan where i have not heard any other language then Pashto. Not that I have anything against any other language.

Kunar is 90-95% pakhto....when you go more up north towards Nuristan, they speak Farsi and Pashai.....though even the Tajiks in Kunar speak Pakhto.
