Shpala = Shpol .....it is called "Ranch" in English......Yo daasey zay che ger chaapera trey da largo/ghanoo dewaloona raatao shawee vee....aksar da saarwoo(gaddo beezo) dapara joregee.....

other words like "Shpala' " are:

            Dewal na Dewaala'
            Beltoon na Beltaana'
            War na Wra'
            etc

I know a person who also use "Telphaana'" for Telephone: He would say:
"Maa warsara pa Telephaana' Khabarey okrey"

                Copied/Pasted for you (source: Raverty):

عاق کول - œāḳḳ kawul - to rebel, to manifest disobedience.

                ^ new to me

                Alternative (Source: Qamasoona):

نافرمانى کول - nafarmaani - to disobey

^ makes sense, even though I don't really use it.

I understand farmaan - to make an order, so nafarmaani - to go against. Seems logical.

                    Disobedient = Naafarmaan/Naabakaar/khabara na' manoonkey

                    Aaq kawal is to disinherit....

Aaq kawel is more like disowning someone. It is very rarely used to describe disobedience. I would use the latter suggestion in your post. What is your alternative?

                      • I just copied/pasted the first example from Raverty. Like I say, I would not have used aaq kawal as "disobedience", so I added the note. So much for Victorian era Englishmen trying to write Pakhto dictionaries, I guess ...

My alternative? *Mahzala* - when the kids have tried to get away with things, I just tilt my head and stare. Instant fix. "Yow zal me owey". I don't get into arguments with children.

Arguments with children are not pretty ... I know. But 'yaw zal me wowayle/ze khpela khabere ne tekraarawoma doesn't fit everywhere right? Disobedience, out of the box of children, was what I was referring to. For instance, if you were to say, or translate an ayah from the Quran in which disobedience is mentioned, how would you put it? De Khuday na farmaani kawel? Or do you have an alternative?

We use "uss" for male and "aspa" for female. My mistake that i did'nt mention words for both genders.
Between i dont know what is english word for female horse.

                            • For hairs word " weshtan" or "wekhtan" is used. In our area boys keep long hairs over neck and ears, we call it "balache". Do you people have heard of this word?

                                For hair we use "Wraishtai"
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                                -Ferishta, 1560–1620
