Use your brain, dont succumb to Peshawar-valley-ANP nationalism. Makham and Khaza are changed words , as output of every original word with Sh- input will be -Kh in hard dialect. The very fact that even Persian loan words are modified by Kheen dialect , attest to the fact that its not original but dialectal. Let me share some more example with you . Original "badshah" word is converted/corrupted into "bacha" by hard dialect. Shad or Shadi of farsi is corrupted into "Khad" or "Khadi" respectively. Original Jangal (forest) is corrupted into zangal
Khashi and Ghoria Khel tribes, were obviously not speaking in hard dialect when their abodes were Suleiman range and Arghandab valley. Northern KPK, Bajaur, Mohmand, Nangarhar, Kunar etc of hard dialect, were not even populated by Pashtuns before the times of Mahmud Ghaznavi. Much of the settlement of Pashtuns in this region, took place in 15th century by the tribes which migrated from south.
For now, i am sharing excerpts from Sir Olaf's work,
"According to Professor Bailey, 'hard' pronunciation , Pakhtun, is comparatively new and dialectal. (page-35)
"Professor Morgenstierne's views are comprised in a very recent article contributed by him to the 4th fascicule of the new edition of Encyclopaedia of Islam, article 'Afghan'. He also regards Pashtun as the classical variant , and refers , rightly of course, to Pakhtun, as the North-Eastern way of speaking . Like Bailey he, too , affirms that Kh is later dialectal form (page-36)
Moreover the tradition goes that Malik Afghan settled in the place named Pusht or Pasht in the mountains , and from the name of this people have derived the name of Pashtun and their language Pushto ([Raverty, A Grammar of the Pukhto, Pushto, Or Language of the Afgháns, p-08). So even according to traditional accounts, Pusht or Pasht would be original word, Pashtun and Pashto would be derived from it which would later change into Pakhtun and Pakhtro in North-East.
You have zero knowlegde about the language. Masham and makham are same words differently pronounced in two dialects. There can be difference in spoken language but in written form its the same.
Pashto like other languages has barrowed lot of words from other languages. Like in ur marwati dialect u have shkaar, jai, shaar, chadar etc which are persian words shikar, jai, shehr n chaadar respectively we have atleast modified and pashtunised it by replacing the sheen with pashto alphabet kheen tseem and dzeem. Your dialect is much more mixed with urdu arabic and other languages than the yousafai dialect. You dont hve a word for Akhtar and say eid eidaan. You on one hand mixd it with banochi and on the other with seraiki n waziri. Your chena(sit) doesnt make any sense either it should be kena or kshena. On the other hand peshawar vally especially Mardan n charsadda wala dialect is considered as the purest coz they dont have any hindki, seraiki or other speakers there since ages. Moreove a language is promoted by its poets and writers. The richness of a language or dialect depends on the number of poets n scholars. How many classical poets do u have there except Abdur Rahim Majzoob n rahmatullah Dard?

Wtf? , you have not got it at all Akhroata..........you have succumbed to ANPite Peshawar vally's bias and nationalism
You thick-headed Khray-kus, you yourself is admitting that Hard dialect is modified and dialectal, corruption is not "Pashtunized". Shkar (derived from persian shikaar) was the word which was used by Pashtuns, then new dialect hard developed and its speakers started modified it to "Khkaar".
Mor-ghoday, it seems you were driven by regionalism and nationalism when you were showing extra eagerness and enthusiaism in attacking Abdul Hai Habibi because he was from Afghanistan and not from Peshawar valley, you had no academic mindset. @Afghanfootball sensed it right

koni rangia! its idiots like you who drag every thread to lar o bar enmity and promote disunity amongst pashtuns. The thread was all about hard and soft dialect that on which basis they categorised it. No one asked you which dialect is pure and which one is impure. But its the itching in your ******* that compelled you to criticise yousafzai's and ANP. Some ANP wala might have ** you somewhere, thats why you drag it to ANP in every thread. The **** you are speaking in Lakkai nowhere match to the original Qandahari Sheen dialect. lakai warkawa duba sastia
As for as that thread is concerned, i proved it with examples, now gather some courage and prove me wrong there instead of acting like a randai khaza and tagging others.
yousufzai cant help it. What he does is the logical conclusion of nationalism: I M better than others. That's why he assumes his own dialect is better. He also believes Pashto neologism in Afghanistan is a bad thing.

Never talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

Oy, Khan saab, taanda ro. Itna ghussay ka kya faida?
Do you know how many dialects of punjabi there are? Some of them sound homosexual to me, but people speak the way they speak. True Punjabi is jhanghvi, ya Jhangochi. But, I don't fight people over this. Language is something that always evolves.
If your Ahmad Shah Baba saw a computer, then wtf he is going to call it? Computar. So relax man.

Its your marwat friend who said his dialect is better when no body has asked him about pure and impure and good and bad. I ain't against neologism as long as it is according to grammatical rules. The problem with you guys is that you produce and modify words according to your own wish.

Patheti. I never attacked your Yusufzai tribe (technically speaking you are Mandanr not Yousafzaey). The problems lies in your ANP-ish nationalism which has not grown beyond Peshawar valley for reasons. Your nationalism has infected your brain and you cant think with reason and logic or any thing like that. Even though facts are in front of you, you insist on acting like a stubborn Ghenr. Disunity of Pakhtuns zoya, your ego is at work here. Every variant of Soft Pashto , is original, no matter how much greater is literary contribution of Hard dialect speakers to Pashto literature. its no my personal view, but opinion of scholars and linguists who worked on Pashto and were free from bias and nationalism you are carrying as they were non-Pashtuns.
You Hinduish Congressi piece of ANP shyt. Your Doctor Khan Sahah gave his daughter to a Sikh and you ask me what is wrong with ANP and their mujra and kamsal tendencies? dawoosa

@marwat your ideological brother from ANP seems to have some issues and grudge with Marwats. I never said marwat dialect is superior. I was talking generally about Soft dialect. Every variant of Soft Pashto , is original, no matter how much greater is literary contribution of Hard dialect speakers to Pashto literature.
