Salamoona.... i have compiled someof the following from the previous posts and some verbs have not eyt been posted....so please correct me....so that i can go ahead with my learning,,,,

to sleep...oodakedal
i sleep...za oodakegam
i am sleeping.. za lagya yam oodakegam
i have slept....za ooda shawi dee

to laugh...khandedal
i laugh....za khandam
i am laughing....za lagya yam khandam
i have laughed.....ma khandali di

to cry.....jarhidal
i cry....za jarhawam
i am crying....za lagya ym jarhawam
i have cried....ma jarhali di

to sit...kenastal
i sit....za kainam
i am sitting...za lagya yam kainam
i have sat on the chair...ma pa kursai kenastali da

to die...mrheedal
i die...za mrham
i am dieng.. za lagya yam mrham
i have died...za mrha.........

to mix...gadawal
I mix....za gadawam
I am mixing... za lagya yam gadawam

Have just learned some prepositions from a book that I am referring.. have made some sentences .. please correct them so that I can use them in conversation….


On, at ---pa
Da mashoom pa kaat kenastaley dey… the child is sitting on the bed….

In---pa……..ki
Har wraz pa mazkhutan wakht hagha pa kor ki ye……..every day in the evening he is in the house…

With----la……sara
Nokia la Khpl khor sara bazaar ta zey…… Nokia goes to the market with his sister..
I have read that Usually ‘la’ is dropped

To, for-------ta
Moong har wraz pa ata bajey pohanzai ta zoo awo dre baje bearta razoo…. Every day at 8 we go to school and come back at 3…..

Of----……..da
Da Yousafzai kor der loy dey.. yousafzai’s house is very big…

About------de…….pa bara ke
De imtihaan pa bara ke khabrey ma wawaya… don’t talk about exams

After-----wrusta la……..na
Wrusta la imtihaan na ba meley kawoo……after exams we will have picnic…

Until-------tar……..porey
Tar wror porey na razee, za ba bazaar ta na zam…until brother comes I will not go to themarket..

Without-------be la……na
Hagha be la AC na ooda na kegee…. He does not sleep without AC.

there are going to be loads of mistakes......please help.........

these are sentences i read in the book...

tar tsaxta porey narogaan goreee.....till late morning he sees the patients....

wrasta la almiyato na lag dama kawee....after operation he takes some rest...

wrasta la hagha na bya narogaan goreee...this is didnt understand completely...after__________ again he sees the patients....

Have studied in the room I am referring to about Present Tense…please let me know if I am correct and if the following makes sense…..as I got confused here….

PRESENT IMPERFECT TENSE

Transitive auxiliary it mentions ---kawal----to do

To cook—pakhawal (the 1st component ends in a consonant like pakh then the ‘k’ is dropped as in awredal)

To examine --- mayna kawal (someone does the work).....1st component ends in vowel to k isn’t dropped also as in ooda kedal, khabrey kawal, etc.

Intransitive auxiliary----kedal (changes to kegam, kegee)-----to become

get blocked-----bandagee
gets ripe----pakhegee
gets close---nezdey kegee
gets sold-----khartsegee
both above, endings in vowel or consonant determines…

Present Perfect TENSE

Transitive auxiliary, whether last component ends in vowel or consonant

it will be Karh…..like pakh karhi da…..Mayna Karhi da, zda karhi da… (only transitive determines the end i.e when there is an object present)

In Intransitive…… whether last component end in consonant or vowel then the auxiliary is sha….as in taw sham, ter sham, nizdey sham, etc….(only intransitive determined the end)

Yousafzai der Manana.... i have found that i do silly mistakes like in zda Kuwanki....and missed an alphabet which is careless of me also i had forgtten the pashtu word for teacher which now i remember is Khuwankey....am is right????

wraz is feminine?????? according to how i know all words ensing in s vowel are feminine then how wraz....are there some exceptions tooo..

also i should proof read it manytime before posting,,,,i will do it morethoroughly in future,,

My practice for Present Tense....till we start with past Tense....
Please correct the following...have used somethings new that i learned like weak possessive noun and future tense...please correct them to help me learn better...
Manana..

Asad daktar dey…..Asad is a doctor.

Hara wraz hagha roghantoon ta zee…everyday he goes to the hospital.

Oos hum hagha roghanton ta larh shey….now too he has gone to the hospital….

Mor pa kor ki dey….mother is at home….

Hagha dodai pakhawee…..she is cooking food….

Biya ba yaw ghanta na dama kawee….then she will rest for an hour..

Wror hum pa kor ki dey…brother too is at home…..

Hagha da sehar chey skhalee dee…he has taken morning tea (he has had morning breakfast)

Oos hagha office ta zee…now he is going to the office…

Baba jaan khpl kamrey ki dama kawee….baba jaan is taking rest in his room..

Hagha Quran wayaley dey awo yaw khat hum likaley dey….he has read the Quran and has also written a letter….

Da khat malgari ye da para dey awo pa pukhtu ki likaley dey….the letter is for his friend and is written in pashtu…..(tried to use weak possessive noun, ‘ye’)

Wror jaan ba da mazpakheen wakt post kawee…..brother will post in the afternoon….(little dicey whether its correct)

Khor ba pohantoon ta zee….sister will go to the university….

University ye kor la der nezey dey……Her university is very close to home..(tried to use weak possessive noun ‘ye’)

Oos, da mor jaan pa pakhlanzai ki mrhasta kawee…now she is helping mother in the kitchen….

Har yaw der masroof dee….everbody is very busy…..

Haghoi yawazey pa shpa lidal kawee awo khabrey kawee……they meet only at night and talk….

Dodai yawadzay dodai khwree awo so waqt na tv goree…..they eat food together and watch tv for sometime….

Biya wakhti ooda kegee zaka che har yaw pa tsakht sehar wakht pasegee……then everybody sleeps early because they get up early in the morning…
