you can, on it's own. cooked of course. very tasty, depends on how it's made.

Isn't this dish called something to the sorts of "Shokan" or "Chokaan" in Swat?

It's pretty heavy though... soaked in heavy cream/butter to add taste...

And yes I know, sometimes the meat is under the rice..that's for fancy weddings. My uncle was a chef @ a hotel in Iran, and they used to serve giant turkey legs under a plate of rice the size of an 18" inch wheel.
