Is your future husband okay with you calling total strangers adorable?

He is probably not a Pashtun if he is.

I fail to understand why eyebrow hair removal is haraam but not the rest of the body, including "mustache" and arms ... especially for those women who don't have a problem showing their arms and face.

Anyway, I'm starting to realize that women who DON'T shave are the strongest women out there, especially those who don't shave their legs and still show them. I've met a couple, and each time I see them, I can't help but get inspiration from them. I mean, daaayammm!!!! And they walk around just like you and me. I love how they defy norms that force many women to do something against their will. Oh, yes- I believe shaving isn't something that all women wanna do but do it because if they don't, they'll be declared masculine by so-called feminine women and so-called masculine men. Watch some girls coming here and saying, "NO!!! I do it OUT OF CHOICE, okay?! No one MAKES me!" lol ... well, if that's the case, we clearly have a lot to learn because it's not that anyone puts a gun at your head and says, "SHAVE NOW!!!" Just ask yourself what'll happen and what'll you feel like if you didn't shave for two months. This is regardless of whether you shave or not. Or for those women who shape their eyebrows and don't believe it's haraam, ask yourself what'll happen and what the response from others will be if you DON'T shape your eyebrows for a couple of weeks.

@ Eyeliner: If shaving is done only for purposes that have to do with hygiene, then what about men? Why don't men shave their legs/armpits/arms/etc. too, or at least remove their body hair otherwise? Or do men and women have different requirements for how to keep a clean and healthy body with regards to the removal of hair?

Men typically like alot of things about women, dont mean you go out there in order to impress a man.

Plucking shaping the eyebrows is haraam for the simple reason of Allah said so, God doesnt have to explain anything to anyone, saying that though im pretty sure there is an explination for this. thers a naration (to the nearest meaning of my knowledge) that scorpions from a specific valley in hellfire called Lamlam will bite the foreheads of those women which shaped there eyebrows. The problem alot of WOMEN have is that they pick and choose parts of islam to suit themselves, if they dont like one opinion of a islamic scholar they will find one that they do and follow him, this is a big danger to ones self.

i do sympathise with asian/pashtun women though as compared to other races asians are quite hairy and if ya never did your eyebrows youd be walking around with a mcdonals monobrow or a bush, which would be extremly hard to interact with the western society.

Islamically men are comanded to remove the hair from the armpits, private parts. infact we have to remove hair from these places wenever the hair reaches the length of just a average rice grain

im not by the way lol

Men shaving is one thing and quite normal for them to converse about. Women speaking in a man's hygiene matters, ghair man, is another. I am, quite frankly, surprised at how women speak of their hair removal practices so openly, and that too with men, Pakhtun at that. Personally, these conversations don't leave my bedroom, so reading it here, on an online Pakhtun forum, excuse my reserved nature, but it seems out of place. Where do we draw the line when it comes to haya and shame? Or is it fading from our lives and behaviours? We can be lenient, and perhaps say, it is changing. Either way, I think we should reconsider our approach and think about how much we should say, rather, how much we can say, in a certain place and certain time. Off topic, my apologies.

"The reason why we ignored the Islamic Post because hardly anyone of us follows or agrees with it."

          - I agree with you, and i feel this is the case in this group with people..alot of people in this group are from America etc and what iv learnt from my short stay here is that Islam is of little significance to alot of these members..no point in hiding from the truth.

"How can there be laws on lashing men who have a shave?"

          - Well its not afghanistan, they probly do it were your originaly from but i think you need to look at what islam says about it.

"Plus from your picture, you have had a shave unless you got no facial hair?"

          - Yea if you read my previous posts on this thread youl find out why..just because you do something wrong it doesnt mean its right..if i smoke weed im not going to say its halal just because i do it.

"There is a reason why people such as you live in the west, its to be far and far away from your intolarant societies of origin."

          - Are you speaking for yourself? lol i dont know about you but were im originaly from i can wear what i want, be it kamis purduk or shirt and trouses. im born and raised in the west which is the reason why i live in the west thank you very much.
