is it still raised? if so, you can apply a silicone scar sheet which can be found in drugstores such as CVS. if it is indented, try to get a prescription tretinoin cream to apply nightly OR a potent vitamin c gel both of which act to increase collagen production. massage while it is still new also helps to break down scar tissue.

There is this ointment you can buy at places like The Body Shop. It's called Wheat Germ Oil and it works very well if the scar is still fairly fresh.

I've used this product you make mention of. But, for me, I found it worked over a long period of time, as do things like Bio Oils. I prefer fast-acting treatments, considering my own skin. With some things, I have resorted to home remedies, or natural products. I am yet to buy an aloe vera plant to replace my spray, as it works well for me. It depends on the skin type too.

As far as I know, Wheat Germ Oil is extracted from newly germinated grains of wheat, and does not contain any other additives. Scars often do take some time to fully disappear, but I guess if DZJ is looking for fast results then she should try other options, no doubt.

Go and see a Dermatologist, Infections and the possibility of it getting worse outweigh the benefits of a good looking belly

DZJ if your scar is pinkish then it means it is in the progress, it is not matured yet. mature scar is white. Scars are permenant. I suggest you to consult docter, dont listen to neem hakeems here. one guy here is suggesting you
cream that would further deteriote your scar.
