  • What the 10 Christian Missionaries were doing in Badakhsan

From their weekly e-journal in 2001 (translated):

There are only several believers in Afghan, most of them are Dari-speaking. The numbers in small villages have been doubled thanks to the foreign workers' witness.... Pray for the church expansion in this 21st century.

International Assistance Mission is a Christian organisation supported by 26 agencies and recognized by the government. Pray for them, so they can continue their service in the capital. Their love and dedication shown to those who are blind, sick, illiterate and poor ... have resulted in harvests. War and insecurities are not easy for their 70 foreign staffs; pray for them. There are recruitment for skilled and dedicated professionals. This is an amazing opportunity.

New Testament in Dari language are in adequate/ready stocks, and NT in Pushtu language are in limited stocks. Pray for effective dissemination, even though there are many obstacles.

Britain amongst 10 Missionaries killed in Afghanistan

Eight foreign missionaries along with two Afghan collaborators have been found shot dead next to abandoned vehicles in the north-eastern Afghan province of Badakhshan, officials say.
The attack is particularly worrying as this region is one of the last considered safe by the Crusader ‘aid workers’ and non governmental agencies who help the crusaders and their secular apostate allies maintain their rule and support amongst the people.
The foreigners are believed to be six Americans, one Briton and a German, who worked for an international charity who claimed they were there providing eye care and medical help.
The vehicles were found a day after contact was lost with the group and local police at first played down fears of the Taliban being responsible and said robbery might have been the motive. However, the Taliban have said they were behind the attack.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, said “They were carrying Dari (Persian language) bibles, a satellite-tracking device and maps.”
“Yesterday at around 0800 (0330 GMT), one of our patrols confronted a group of foreigners. They were Christian missionaries and we killed them all,” he told the AFP news agency.
He later told the Associated Press they were also guilty of “spying for the Americans”.
The team comprised five American men and three American, German and British women, along with four Afghans. Two of the foreigners worked for the International Assistance Mission (IAM), two were former IAM workers and the others were affiliated to other organisations.
International Assistance Mission doesn’t much sound like a Christian organisation but if you dig a little deeper into their own website we find the following statement:
“IAM is an international charitable, non-profit, Christian organisation…” But the slogan only a few days ago stated “the International Assistance Mission is an international association of Christian organizations serving the people of Afghanistan with compassion and excellent in the name and spirit of Jesus Christ through training and capacity building that fosters wholeness and transformation.”
IAM executive director, Dirk Frans, denied they were missionaries, but why were they carrying Bibles in Dari, the local language as these could not have been for their own use and the only possible use is in trying to spread the idolatry of Christ worship to the Muslims of Afghanistan?
The charity Bridge Afghanistan, which was working in conjunction with IAM, named the British aid worker as Dr Karen Woo.
The two dead Afghani locals were also named as Christians by Christian groups in the UK including the Christiantoday website, confirming them as apostates from Islam as well as collaborators with occupying forces.
Badakhshan, a mainly ethnic Tajik region bordering Tajikistan, is one of the few Afghan provinces not to have been controlled by the Taliban before the US-led invasion of 2001 and fell under the rule of the gangsters of the Northern Alliance.
Charities working in the area with the occupying forces as well as their apostate allies in the Afghan Government have complained of increased Mujahideen activities and that it is no longer safe for them to work there.
If the Taliban have managed to gain support in Badakhshan it would mean there is now nowhere in Afghanistan without Taliban supporters and Mujahideen present as the Taliban already has overwhelming support in Pashtoon areas, as well as widespread help from the Uzbek Afghanis who are fed up of the rape, murder and looting that their own Uzbek Afghan soldiers and police are visiting on them.
If the Taliban had just considered them as helpers for the occupation of Afghanistan then being strict Muslims they would only have either captured them all or only killed the men and taken the women prisoner. The only way they would consider it permissable to kill the women would be if they were missionaries which is punishable by death under the Shariah of Allah.
General Agha Noor Kemtuz, the provincial police chief, said a third Afghan man, who had been travelling with the group, survived. “He told me he was shouting and reciting the holy Quran and saying ‘I am Muslim. Don’t kill me’,” Kemtuz said.

lol I feel sorry for these Afghan children who are learning this genocidal and racist desert superstition of the ancient and barbaric Judeans, which was reinterpreted by European or more specifically formerly pagan Roman priests and was further reinterpreted by angry beer-soaked Germans whose intoxicated-on-Jesus descendants preached it to the far Eastern Mongoloid people, who have taken it upon themselves to perpetuate this malevolent cancerous lie to poor, uneducated Afghan children.

They dont need to convert you from bagram, they will come kill you in your house. Come the next morning and convert your children and if they refuse, bomb them (collateral damage) *sha bana mo zda karey.
There is 150`000 coalition troops fighting in Afghanistan, and when I say fighting, I mean fighting. They are fighting Afghans, no one but Afghans, let it be labelled as ANA or Taliban, the fight is going to continue until the foreign troops depart. I don't understand why people even expect to be helped by someone that came invaded your house and killed your children. How do you expect the thief that broke into your house to help you?
Do you really think the WEST wants to rebuild Afghanistan?

Depends on how you define the word Brutal. Statistics? Data?
Civilian casualties? corruption? Christian missionaries? rooting out of the social and tribal system? implementing western styles?
Just because our women goes to school under this regime, doesn't mean Afghanistan is in better situation than before. The world doesn't come to and end at low literacy and womens rights issues.....
Also, when it comes to regional politics of Afghanistan, there is no such thing as as brutal or as good or as good. Since the 70s majority have been proxies, servants and puppets. Let it be this government or any other....Da wosani kho da eesawee bachian dee, I hate communists and Russians to death, But Wallahi those people had dignity, they would do what they would say, they would stand up to their words, unlike the democrats and the secularists, that once asked the Americans to increase the bombing against the Taliban targets (specifically B-52 bombing). Now, the same people are pinned down in their provincial compounds and have changed all of a sudden. Now, they shed tears on national TV, they don't have the ghoror they had when Afghanistan was getting bombed in 2001, they are begging the opposition to come set down or EVEN participate in the government. You call this government less brutal than the Taliban?
The same people that you think are not as brutal as the Taliban are asking the Taliban to come set down and participate in the government . These people will never remain the same, they can barely spell or define democracy. They don't even know the ideologies behind western imposed democracy..

You said Yaw posthana larama? Whats the question?

And the invasion of Afghanistan was religiously motivated. The Bush Administration and their counterparts were all Christian Fundamentalists. They've killd hundreds of thousands of Afghans.

And you are here bi1ching about Taliban?

1)our literacy rate right now is at an all time high. Which means we will have successful individuals that will rule our country successfully.
Exactly, what good has that done to my mother or sister? Our house still gets shelled and raided. The only high school in our district was shelled by ANA and US special forces, saying that the Taliban took refuge there. Next morning, they (NATO) had made a temporary post out of the school. Seriously, when you visit an ordinary Afghan's house. They wouldn't even bother the issue of literacy or education, everyone is rather worried about their well being. lol i'd rather remain an illiterate than hold 10 PHDs and be in the Karzai and US circle.

2)women rights is important to me ib the Taliban era ISI tells them Afghan women shoukd not go to school because its this and that. Now wrora why would they want this?because they want to see Afghanistan as an extended colony of the Punjabi empire.

You are prefering womens rights over our national pride and dignity, US is not in Afghanistan to educate our women. The education excuse is just to shut us up, and one cannot justify an invasion based on such a silly aim. Also, I've noticed how you associate everything with Panjab/Pakistan. Do you know that more Pakistani soldiers have lost their lives in this war (by Taliban hands) than any other country? Obviously, you are going to say something irrational in response to this also.

I never said I support the US, I want a peaceful Afghanistan that is not dependent on Pakistan. The point is the US destroyed the Punjabi empire.
No, you're missing out. The Taliban are wining, not US. Unless, you dont believe in that also?
You cannot call one bad and then justify another bad rooting it out, evil is evil, you are trying to portray a good and bad image of the conflict. There is no such thing as Taliban being bad while the US forces being good. Ta zanta sanga musalman waye? how can you justify US troops killing your brothers just because they happen to follow something you dont?
                              Labeling is easy my friend....
