That´s the case, brother! Mr. Kalakani (I won´t use anymore the word Bachi saqaw) was a real Mujahid but not a Talib and who fought against the slaves of Angriz and he was not a jin as he was potrayed by those angriz slaves. Kalakani was a man of honour and pride. He was Ahmad Shah Baba of his time but he was too fearless to face death by visiting alone the camp of british slave Nadir Khan. A real lion, a real Afghan, a real man out of our reach!Last edited by Bost Bastan News; 01-06-2014, 02:05 PM.

I don´t need to provide you with sources when you blind man don´t even come away from your own traditional lies, ''sources'' and propaganda. You even make false claims just to feel good. Why should I do you a favour then??? When Mr. Kalakani ran out of the money he was still powerful. Those mentioned eastern Pashtun tribes joined Nadir Khan because he brought with him money and guns but they were not able to kill or change anything. Mr. Kalakani with his Farsiwan and Safi and some Kandahari mullahs and tribal allies defeated all of them. Even British forces were sent to kill them and they failed. You are a clown. You can´t even count 1+1 but waste your time on net. Get a job, visit a school, get education and become a person of self-ruling mind. In his short 9 months Mr Kalakani cleaned all Afghanistan even Kandahar from 70 000 thiefs, murderers, rapers, british agents and other sort men that oppressed the ordinary people, specially the rural population. Nadir Khan couldn´t reach this in during his reign of ruling and his son who ruled Afghanistan for 40years was even more a failure to Afghanistan than his sell-out father. And you wonder why people call you Tajik? You defend almost every warlord criminal who is Tajik, adn we must forget the bad thing that they did for peace, but what Pashtun did should not be forgoton and rembered all the time -_-.Originally posted by Bost Bastan News View PostThat´s the case, brother! Funny because i was recently reading an article on Kalakani and you bring him up. Too be honest i even doubt he was tajik, there are no records of him clamming to be one and he was a poor villager and the son of a water boy so most likely he did not have an official birth certificate so i doubt he even knew his ethnicity. Anyways, Mr. Kalakani used Pashtuns in his own interest and made them to do his dirty work for him. He was a bandit and rebel who had his 15 sec of fame until his assassination.Originally posted by Bost Bastan News View PostThat´s the case, brother! One can not consider Kalakani in the perspective that he was a bandit unless one adheres to a favorable opinion of Amanullah's government and his modernization plan which was flimsy. Instead of solely focusing on building the Afghan economy on a European model (which no one was objecting to), Amanullah seemed to have an obsession with having other men kiss his wife's hand, and have her dress half-naked. This he did to prove how Eurocentric he was (not even Ataturk did this).Originally posted by Kushan Prince View PostFunny because i was recently reading an article on Kalakani and you bring him up. In light of the above information, Kalakani was a figure that Afghans rallied around. Any person of whatever ethnicity would have been a rallying figure against what people considered to be un-Islamic behavior by Amanulah and his wife. Pashtuns along with most other ethnics stood against what they saw as an abomination on national honor.
I dont think the ethnic lines were as rigid as they are today. Even today, can you really consider any of these Tajik "leaders" to be working for their people? (Bost Bastan does because he is an ethnocentric facist) How so when Abdullah Abdullah and Fahim have mansions in Dubai along with the Karzais? All theses guys are just corrupt parasites feeding off the US/NATO war.
They are using the ethnic card to stay relevant. It wont work.Last edited by Shah-i-Kot; 01-08-2014, 12:13 AM.

So lets compare and contrast the fall of Amanullah to the fall of Najib and the rise of Bache Saqaw to the rise of Masood.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostSo many people think they know history, and they try to refute you by quoting books written during the era of Zahir Shah when you couldn't even write your own ideas about religion and politics with a pencil on the back of your book out of fear of persecution.
Yet they think the ones with the opposing account of history are somehow lying.
The royal family tried very hard to demonize any kind of descent as foreign backed treason just like the current regime is doing it.
People condemn the current regime for this, yet people seem to be unaware of the same thing occurring in our recent history.
Your under the impression that all Ghilzi were supporting Saqaw, well Sayaf and his men were also supporting Masood against another Ghilzai named Hekmatyar who opposed Masood. Sayaf was paid off just like some of the Pashtuns of the time were paid off by that money Saqaw found in the Afghan Treasury. That does not mean all Ghilzi were supporting him, in fact the majority of Pashtuns were on the sidelines after Amanullah was out just like most Pashtuns had put down their arms after the soviets left and even more after Najib was out of power.
Saqaw came in from the north just like masood came in from the north securing Kabul. Kabul was given to Saqaw by Amanullahs brother and Kabul was given to Masood by Naijb. Masood would have lasted just for a few months just like Saqaw but Masood had something Saqaw didn't and that was the financial backing of the Russians, Iran and India. Saqaw and Masood/Rabani both reversed the "modernization" programs of their Pashtun predecessors.
Nadir Shah had the financial backing of the Brits just like the Taliban had the financial backing of Pakistan and took their rivals out very quickly. Both committed atrocities in the North but I have to note that the Taliban's reprisals were a reaction to the slaughter of 3000 Taliban in Mazar in an ambush in 1997. Nadir Shah was selling the idea of restoring the Durrani Dynasty and so were the Taliban at the beginning of their campaign.
Do you see the similarities. Now the only reason the nation healed itself from the civil war back then was because there was no invasion. The invasion and occupation only prolongs the suffering of the afghan people.
PS: I'm not defending Amanullah or Nadir or anyone else but stating the facts.

i don't really have any opinion on kalakani because there isn't enough recorded history on him or the circumstances of his ascension, non biased that is. he couldn't of been just some simple highway bandit like history describes him because he took the throne of the man who took responsibility for the independence of afg.
history of written by the winners and it usually sticks considering that we don't write much to begin with. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Your only demonizing Ghani because you want abdullahX2 to win. But in reality, you Farsiwan are better off with Ghani because he would be the Pashtun face behind Tajik dictators. You don't even know how to play this, that's how stupid you are.Originally posted by Bost Bastan News View Post"Ashraf Ghani’s patrilateral grandfather, Abdul Ghani, collaborated with the British-subsidized forces (led by Mohammad Nader) during 1929-1930 to unseat Habibullah Kalakani. Kabul was given to him by Amanullahs brother. This is what we know:
The uprising against Amanullah had started in Pashtun areas and were confined to a Pashtun areas. Tajiks didn't really join the uprising until later. Amanullahs generals were busy in Pashtun areas to try to quell Pashtun Tribes. Saqaw did not start the rebellion nor was he anywhere in the proximity of where the rebellion was fiercest. No one knew him until he came to Kabul just like no one knew Karzai until he came to Kabul.

well, karzai was lowly minister in the rabbani government so i imagine that when he came back in 2001 people were saying "ooohhhhh yeah i remember that guy, i think"Originally posted by khushal View PostKabul was given to him by Amanullahs brother. its more interesting that it took almost a year for kalakani to be dethroned more than anything else. this being a time when the country was a nation state and had been since before amanullah, so its not like it would be hard to ignore the events in kabul out in the pashtun provinces. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. The thing is that Pashtuns didn't really resist him since he left them alone unlike Amanullah with his "modernization" programs. This is similar to how Pashtuns left the commies alone in Kabul until they started their "modernization" programs and started interfering in their daily lives. Afghanistan was never really a nation state.Originally posted by randolph85 View Postwell, karzai was lowly minister in the rabbani government so i imagine that when he came back in 2001 people were saying "ooohhhhh yeah i remember that guy, i think"

It was Nadir that dethroned him and that 9 months Saqaw was king, Nadir had to fly in from France and used the majority of that time organizing Pashtun tribes in Paktia and Waziristan.
