Seems like the biggest problem in bdesh is poverty and child labour because of high population and rural population that are agricultural oriented but have no or less lands because elite areruling over them.
sigpic"When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!" (2.11)

And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansar and Al-Muhajirun) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not."(2.13)

      1. Jamaat e "Islami" in Bangladesh only exists due to Saudi pressure, otherwise they would be banned.

      2. It is a violent political organization even today in terms of street violence and terrorism by its "youth" wing, Shibir.

90% of Bangladeshis sincerely hope that this organization is ended forever in Bangladesh.
Yes its abvious that this biatch ghumbasa is a troll, also really racist, I bet if those monkeys killed his beloved punjabis he would be building concentration camps to kill them all, even their babies,

But becuase the victims were Bangladeshi people he expects from us to forget and forgive for the atrocities that those people commited.

But nobody will forget or forgive.

If Bangladeshi Jamat e Islami is even halve as bad as the Afghani one, then they indeed do deserve to be executed. Unlike Afghanistan who isn't strong enough to bring justice to those thugs, Bangladesh is far stronger and capable.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

                    • History has shown whenever a nation abandons ways of Allah and prophet saww...Allah humiliates them and replace them with new people that love Allah and Allah loves them.
Injtially those were arabs, then of al sham and iraq, then turks, then subcontinent...till today many people are replaced...in the last muslim bani israel of khurasan are mentioned. What people ignore is this is the only group where pashtuns are in majority...Lets see when the command of Allah comes.

You obviously don't know your stuff regarding Jamiat e Islami. Jamiat e Islami is alive and well in Afghanistan. And what they do and did in Afghanistan, not even kaffirs will sink so low and do.
I am not trying to offend you, but your ignorance regarding Jamiat e Islami and even the fact that you didn't know they exist in Afghanistan do kinda show that your opinion is baseless.

You may be indifferent to your Muslim brethren in Bangladesh and Afghanistan regarding what they went through in the civil wars, but these two countries who first handedly experienced the horrors of these wars will not bow down to your ignorance. I am personally very shocked that a person can be so disrespectful to our Bangladesh brothers and these thousands victims of that war. Saying that all these 300000+ Muslim Bangladeshis who died due that war is nothing, is so disrespectfull that not even a kaffir will say that.

And do not fool anyone with random quotes from the holy Quran, that literally have nothing to do with the topic.

This quote in the other hand has more to do with our topic, and I hope you pay attention to it, because you're in the verge of doing the same.

It is narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said, “When a man says to his companion ‘O you Kaafir,‘ then this would be necessarily binding upon one of the two. If the man who was called a kaafir is actually one, then he would be a kaafir; otherwise whatever the caller said would return upon him.”

If someone call islam as absurd...mocks the ruling of islam...you call him muslim ? He doesnt know whats 4 madhab or fiqh...and call it deviation of islam...indirectly calling whole lot muslims in the world as kaffirs...so who is kaffir by your definition?

Jamat e islami wasnt in afg ...it came from pakistan. In afg there was simple madrassa system of hanafis...later converted to neo salafism brought by saudis...If some jamatis jkined taliban war...it doesnt mean whole group is evil,..what choice do they had but to expel the soviets..though i do condemn their strict policies they adopted from saudis or their books written in texas that has nothing to do with the idealogy of main jamate islami body...whose main purpose is to do dawah.

i dont denounce bdeshis mass murder...but putting its blame on Now s ji group in pakistan ...that has nothing to do with bdesh or its past. They are new people...new generation.Punjabis of past in ji arent there anymore. So this left right accusation upon pashtuns of ji is baseless and fitna mongering.

And tryto be realistic regarding the fact that no one canuse you as a proxy until you yourself let them be.So give half credit to pashtuns too who were used in afg war as proxies. But today they ve time and choice to think wisely and not be used as proxies rather indulge in dawah only.

                          • Ghumbasa is a troll so therefore on my ignore.

However I have noticed him quoted by other more respectable posters so I will have to refute some of Ghumbasa's lies.

                            1. Jamaat e "Islami" do exist in Afghanistan, but ironically the main Pakistani Jamaat e Islami supported the Afghan Jamaat's rivals, the Hezb i "Islami" of Hekymatyar.

                            2. Jamaat exist in Bangladesh where there are no Pashtuns and where the Jamaat has Bengali members.

Due to Ghumbasa's Pakistani-centric mentality and general disregard/contempt for Bengalis (characteristic of many Pakistani "Islamists"/nationalists) he is so obsessed with Pakistan that he forgets that Jamaat exist in Bangladesh and the majority of this thread is devoted to the activities of this terrorist organization in Bangladesh.

                            3. Aside from troll Ghumbasa, on a more important note for Jamaat in Bangladesh to be effectively dealt with the strong Saudi support for them needs to be ended.

I can see no other way of that being done unless India tells Saudi to back off from destabilizing India's neighbours e.g. Bangladesh.

The Saudi regime are bullies and they will bully Bangladesh but they will not dare to try to bully nuclear power, India.

                              Senior Correspondent, bdnews24.com
                              Published: 2014-12-10 19:37:09.0 BdST Updated: 2014-12-11 00:40:51.0 BdST

The European Parliament has again insisted on the BNP cutting its ties with Jamaat-e-Islami.

EU keen on talks with Bangladesh on ‘blue economy’
                              2014-12-10 22:37:12.0

Jean Lambert, an MEP, said at a media call in Dhaka on Wednesday that she had discussed the issue with the BNP during her visit.

She came here on Saturday at the invitation of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers’ and Exporters’ Association (BGMEA) to attend an apparel industry meet. She leaves on Wednesday night.

Lambert is also the chair of the delegation for relations with South Asian countries.

During her “goodwill” visit, she said she had general-secretary-level meeting with two major parties – the ruling Awami League and the opposition BNP.

The EU had not sent observers to the Jan 5 general election, as it did not find it “transparent, inclusive and credible” with more than half the seats going uncontested.

Later, on Jan 16, the Europarl in a resolution urged the BNP to ‘unequivocally’ distance itself from the Jamaat-e-Islami and Hifazat-e Islam.

It also suggested that the government ban parties resorting to terrorists acts, without taking any name.

Replying to a question on whether they had changed their position, she said the resolution had not been altered, making it clear “that remains the position of the European parliament”.

Lambert said they were not calling for fresh elections but would encourage major parties to find a solution conducive for holding an election.

She mostly focused on the readymade clothing sector during the press briefing, as the EU was the largest market for this sector where it enjoyed duty-free market access.

The MP said during discussions with RMG sector stakeholders she heard them saying , “We should not judge the whole sector by the Rana Plaza incident,” she said.

“But Rana Plaza is a wake-up call,” she said, urging stakeholders to respond to the call positively and change “mindset”.

The EU head of delegation in Dhaka Pierre Mayaudon was present during the press briefing at his office.

Official invitation from Afghan government received

                                Zia Ur Rehman
                                Monday, March 16, 2015

Karachi: After getting an official invitation from Afghan government, the Jammat-e-Islami (JI) has been started internal consultation to send its central head Sirajul Haq to Afghanistan, after a gap of nineteen years.

It would be first visit of the JI’s central head to the neighboring country, if it materialized, since the establishment of Taliban rule in Afghanistan in 1996. In March 2014, Haq has been elected as the new head of the JI for the next five years.

In February, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani telephoned Haq and invited him to pay a visit to Afghanistan. Also, Janan Mosazai, Afghanistan Ambassador in Pakistan met Haq in party central secretariat and extended an invitation on behalf of Afghan president Ashraf Ghani to visit the Afghanistan. “Will be visiting Afghanistan soon Insha Allah on the invitation of Afghan govt”, tweeted Haq on February 19.

Abdul Ghaffar Aziz, director of the JI’s foreign affairs, confirmed that the party has received invitation. “The party leadership has been discussing the central head’s visit to Afghanistan and the schedule of visit is not finalized so far,” Aziz told The News. Although the party’s second and third layer- leadership visited Afghanistan in the past decade, the party’s central head did not visit since 1996 when Taliban took over the Kabul, he said. He said that Karzai government had also invited party to send its central chief for official visit of Afghanistan.

Political analysts believe that the JI head’s visit to Kabul would be part of a strategy of Afghan government to reach out to all major stakeholders of the peace process. Muhammad Yousuf Ghaznavi, a Kabul-based analyst who works as an advisor to Afghan Parliament, believe that the JI has been one of the major allies of Afghan insurgent groups, not only Gulbadin Hekmatyar-led Hizb-i-Islami but also Jamiat-i-Islmai of Burhanuddin Rabbani and Etihad-i-Islami of Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf. “The JI certainly has connections with the Afghan Mujahideen leaders who may have gradually been marginalized in the past decade but are still having a stake in in the insecurity and instability of Afghanistan,” Ghaznavi told The News. “Also, these Jihadi leaders have a proven capacity to escalate the situation for longer than estimated”. He said that the JI could play a facilaltor role in the peace talks to give Afghan government peace and the Jihadi groups a share in the government.

Sartaj Khan, a Karachi-based political analyst who worked extensively on insurgencies in Pakistan and Afghanistan, believe that Haq’s visit to Kabul is not more than a gesture that to increase pressure on Taliban groups for talks.

“The JI had played a key role in Afghan Jihad in 1970s and 1980s till the establishment of Afghan regime in Kabul in 1996. The Pakistani Deobandi religious parties, especially the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI) replaced the JI as Afghan Taliban replaced all Jihadi groups, including Hekmatyar’ s group involved in internal bloody war in Kabul,” Khan told The News. “Though JI extended its moral support to Taliban and oppose the war in Afghanistan, it keep its distance from those waging war against the US-led Coalition in Afghanistan”. He opined that the JI has little or no role in the past twenty years in Afghanistan.

The JI’s interest in Afghanistan started in 1970s with the fall of the Zahir Shah monarchy in 1974 to the Daud Khan regime and Communist Noor Muhammad Tarakai’s coup in 1977. “Just as Daud supported Pashtun nationalists in Pakistan, Pakistan began to train and encourage Islamist resistance to Daud’s secular government. The JI was key in the development of links with Afghan Islamist movements, such as Hekmatyar’s Hizb-i Islami,” writes Vali Nasr, a prominent scholar, in his paper titled “International Relations of an Islamist Movement: The Case of the JI of Pakistan”. The governments of Bhutto and Ziaul Haq had also invited the JI’s then leadership, especially Qazi Hussain Ahmed, to help them in formulate the country’s Afghan policy, Nasr writes.

It is pertinent to mention that leaders of Pakistani Pashtun parties, especially Awami National Party, Qaumi Watan Party and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, have regularly visited Kabul and met Afghan leadership, especially former president Hamid Karzai and current president Ghani. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the JUI-F, also visited Kabul in 2013 on the invitation of then president Karzai, for the first time since the late 1990s.

According to the JUI-F leaders, Rehman visited last time in late 1990s to Kabul during Taliban rule and also met with Mullah Muhammad Omar, supremo of Afghan Taliban.

I read about this disturbing development on the "Justice For Pashtuns" facebook site:

                                My thoughts.

                                1. JI are not that important in Afghanistan as the Taliban are ideologically Deobandi (with Salafi/Wahabi influence) and the Taliban themselves are closer to the JUI-F (Jamaat Ulema Islami - Fazlur wing).

                                2. The JI are themselves probably surprised that considering they are of virtually no importance in Afghanistan they have been invited by Ghani.

                                3. I am disappointed that a terrorist organization with a history of war crimes like JI has been invited by the Ghani administration, however apparently Karzai invited them too.

Perhaps Ghani is inviting these terrorists in order to as they say "keep your friends close but your enemies closer", and also to suss them out a bit more and use them.

However still a very disappointing development.
