  • Thailand Blasts: Has US Pivot to Asia Become a Brawl?

An unprecedented terror attack unfolded Monday evening in Bangkok, Thailand leaving 20 dead and over a hundred injured. No single attack of this scale has been carried out in Bangkok before, prompting fears that Thailand’s enemies have raised their campaign of sedition and violence to grisly new levels.

The Western media has floated several possibilities, attempting first and foremost to focus on the prospect of terrorists, either from Thailand’s troubled southern-most provinces, or from China’s Xinjiang region.

Thailand’s southern-most provinces have seen a low-level insurgency rage since in 2001 US-backed dictator Thaksin Shinawatra took office and reignited violence after a nearly 20 year truce. However, violence within this conflict rarely erupts outside of Thailand’s south, and has never struck Bangkok. While US-Saudi linked terrorist groups in the region have attempted to turn the localized insurgency into a wider front in the politically and financially lucrative “War on Terror,” such efforts have so far failed.

The West is also floating the idea that Uyghur terrorists carried out that attack – citing the fact that the attack was carried out in a location where predominately Chinese tourists gather – claiming it was in retaliation to Thailand’s decision to recently deport detained Uyghurs back to China. China claims those deported were terrorists caught being trafficked through Thailand’s south before being shipped to Turkey where they would then join NATO-backed terrorists fighting in Syria.

It should be noted that immediately after the deportations just weeks ago, the US State Department funded and Washington D.C. based “World Uyghur Congress” (WUC) organized a violent protest which attacked and destroyed the Thai consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.

The final possibility floated was that the bombing was carried out by US-backed, deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, whose violent political front has visited mass murder and terrorism systematically upon Bangkok over the past decade. In 2010, Shinawatra would deploy some 300 heavily armed militants in Bangkok, triggering gun battles that turned the capital into a warzone, killing nearly 100, and injuring over a thousand more. The violence culminated in city-wide arson resulting in billions in damage.

In 2013-2014 when protesters took to the streets to call for the ousting of Shinawatra’s sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, who held office in his place from 2011 until 2014 when the military ousted her in a swift and bloodless coup, Shinawatra would again deploy militants into the streets. Using assault rifles and grenades, these militants would kill nearly 30 and injure hundreds more.

Since the 2014 coup that ousted Shinawatra, there have been several small bombs linked to Shinawatra’s political movement and perceived as warnings to the military to cease efforts to uproot his grip on the country and make concessions. It was long feared that if these concessions weren’t made, deadlier blasts, like the one observed on Monday, would follow.

With the singular common denominator between all three suspects being US backing, the question remains, why Thailand?

    US-Thai Relations Fading

While Thailand is often claimed to be a stalwart ally of Washington, this comes from Cold War mythology, not current realities. The waning influence of the United States, not only in Thailand, but across much of Asia is what prompted the US in the first place to “recharge” its diplomatic ties throughout the region with its much vaunted “pivot toward Asia.”

Cold War-centric commentators like to point out what they call an “all American-made” Thai military arsenal, however much of Thailand’s US-made hardware is antiquated, including Vietnam War-era M60 tanks, M113 armored personal carriers, and relatively newer but still aging F-16s – all of which are being systematically replaced with non-US alternatives.

1CncrThis includes 400 Type-85 armored personal carries from China, T-84 main battle tanks ordered from pre-Euromaiden Ukraine, and likewise over 200 Ukrainian BTR-3 armored personal carriers. Most recently, and perhaps most significantly, was Thailand’s approval of purchasing a small fleet of Chinese Type 039A diesel-electric attack submarines.

Defense News in its article, “Thai Chinese Sub Buy Challenges US Pivot,” would claim:

Thailand’s move to purchase Chinese submarines has exacerbated tensions with the US and poses a challenge to Washington’s “pivot” to the Pacific.

The military junta, which declared a coup in May 2014 and created the National Council for Peace and Order, could turn to China for political and military support and cooperation, analysts said. The junta-led Cabinet approved the purchase of three Type 039A (Yuan) attack submarines in early July.
Thailand’s alliances have been steadily shifting from West to East for years. And part of this shift included undermining, ousting, and finally completely uprooting the political networks of Thaksin Shinawatra – cultivated and in service of US foreign policy since as early as the 1990’s.

Thailand’s Sin: Uprooting America’s Client Regime

In the late 1990’s Shinawatra was an adviser to notorious US private equity firm, the Carlyle Group and described himself as a personal friend of the Bush political dynasty. He pledged upon taking political office that he would continue to serve as “matchmaker” between US interests and Thailand’s resources. In 2001 he privatized Thailand’s resources and infrastructure including the nation’s oil conglomerate PTT – which was sold off to foreign interests including Western oil companies, Chevron, Exxon, and Shell.

In 2003, Shinawatra would commit Thai troops to the US invasion of Iraq, despite widespread protests from both the Thai military and the public. Shinawatra would also allow the CIA to use Thailand for its abhorrent rendition program.

In 2004, Shinawatra attempted to ramrod through a US-Thailand Free-Trade Agreement (FTA) without parliamentary approval, backed by the US-ASEAN Business Council who just before the 2011 elections that saw Shinawatra’s sister Yingluck Shinawatra brought into power, hosted the leaders of his “red shirt” “United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship” (UDD) in Washington DC.

Since the first coup in 2006 aimed at his regime, Shinawatra has been openly represented by US corporate-financier elites via their lobbying firms including, Kenneth Adelman of the Edelman PR firm (Freedom House, International Crisis Group,PNAC), James Baker of Baker Botts (CFR, Carlyle Group), Robert Blackwill (CFR) of Barbour Griffith & Rogers (BGR), Kobre & Kim, Bell Pottinger (and here) and currently Robert Amsterdam of Amsterdam & Partners (Chatham House).

And from 2006 until now, both Western political and media circles have continuously provided favorable spin for Shinawatra and his political proxies. This includes the use of the above mentioned Freedom House and its umbrella organization, the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) to fund and back nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and academics in Thailand to provide rhetorical and operation support for Shinawatra and serve as a constant source of sociopolitical subversion aimed at Thailand’s current ruling establishment.

Recently, with the appointment of Glyn Davies as US Ambassador to Thailand, a War College graduate specializing in nonmilitary use of force to upturn the sociopolitical order of a targeted nation, it is clear that America is still committed to installing Shinawara into power.

With the current Thai government openly committed to permanently removing Shinawatra from power, with the US lacking any viable alternatives, and with Shinawatra’s already questionable public support fading quickly, few options are left to save an increasingly desperate bid to keep Thailand in America’s geopolitical orbit.

Beyond Thailand: From Pivot to Stumble to Brawl

Former Shinawatra lobbyist, Bush-era administrator, and US policymaker Robert Blackwill published earlier this year the latest iteration of US’ “grand strategy” toward China. A rehash of a decades old conspiracy to encircle, contain, and “integrate” China into a US-dominated “international order,” the policy paper is an important reminder of what exactly the US is truly trying to achieve in Asia.

Titled, “Revising U.S. Grand Strategy Toward China,” the report states in no uncertain terms:

Because the American effort to ‘integrate’ China into the liberal international order has now generated new threats to U.S. primacy in Asia—and could result in a consequential challenge to American power globally—Washington needs a new grand strategy toward China that centers on balancing the rise of Chinese power rather than continuing to assist its ascendancy.
The report admits that China’s rise will benefit the Chinese people, their regional neighbors, and bring stability along China’s peripheries – and also admits this must be stopped in order to maintain US “primacy in Asia.”

Many of the report’s recommendations involve US “allies” expending significant amounts of money and political capital to confront China on Washington’s behalf. Many of the recommendations are already being carried out by America’s few remaining allies in the region – to little effect. Trade agreements like the unpopular Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) are admittedly being implemented for the sole purpose of bolstering US hegemony in Asia versus China’s growing economic clout – not for any perceivable benefits – if any – the deal actually brings to its signatories. The report states:

…[the TPP will be] a vivid demonstration that the United States is determined to compete on the Asian economic playing field. By the same token, U.S. grand strategy toward China will be seriously weakened without delivering on the TPP.
It is no wonder the “pivot toward Asia” has stumbled, where every option facing America’s “allies” or potential “allies” include unattractive compromises made simply to bolster US hegemony. Regional leaders genuinely interested in their respective nation’s best interests have attempted to walk a tightrope between provoking the US and forgoing the obvious benefits of doing business with China.

Achieving US Primacy in Asia via Client Regimes

That Robert Blackwill is writing US policy aimed at containing China already unfolding across Asia, and was also a lobbyist for Thaksin Shinawatra who ruled over America’s client regime in Thailand for over a decade, is indicative of exactly how America plans to implement unpopular policies in nations that otherwise will not benefit from them.

Attempts to install client regimes across all of Southeast Asia through US-backed color revolutions and political subversion have taken place in Myanmar with US-British backed Aung San Suu Kyi and her “saffron” colored protesters, in Malaysia with the US-funded yellow-shirted Bersih street movement and its leader Anwar Ibrahim, and in Thailand through Thaksin Shinawatra and his “red”street mobs.

The violence that accompanies these efforts is similar to that seen during the US-engineered “Arab Spring” and more recently in Ukraine where US politicians literally took to the stage at Neo-Nazi political rallies held during the “Euromaiden.” When efforts to subvert a nation fail, violence often follows. Libya and Syria, whose governments resisted street demonstrations and US calls for sitting governments to stand down, unraveled into proxy wars waged by the US through terrorist groups.

The escalation in violence against Thailand appears to be simply the latest attempt by the US to strong-arm a world increasingly slipping out from under its long-standing global “primacy.” The US has specifically cultivated multiple vectors with which to visit violence and terrorism upon Thailand – terrorists operating under cover of Thailand’s southern violence, Uyghur terrorists it openly backs in China, and supporters of the ousted Shinawatra regime.

By targeting Chinese tourists, the attack on Monday constitutes a well-planned precision strike on Thailand’s tourist industry and in turn, its economy. Chinese tourists make up the largest demographic travelling Thailand.

Should Thailand successfully escape out from under US plans to maintain “primacy” in Asia, other nations are likely to follow. Considering how far the US has gone to prevent other nations from drifting away from its orbit and endangering it unwarranted global power and influence, Monday’s bombing comes as no surprise.

In the long run however, Thailand’s leadership surely understands that capitulating to US demands will not spare the Thai people and their future aspirations from violence and chaos. If Thailand must endure tragedy, it must do so with its sovereignty and dignity intact.

While Blackwill’s policy paper notes that any move by China to aggressively counter American moves in Asia will only drive other nations deeper into America’s arms, the same is true for American aggression driving Asian nations closer together – eventually pushing the US out completely, and establishing a more sensible “Asian primacy” in Asia.

    1. The US runs and controls the global "Islamist" terrorist network, which is its foreign legion.

The US cannot send F-16s to bomb Thailand or other "rebellious" states directly but will use "Islamist" terrorists to send a message. For the uninformed western public they will swallow this as the work of "Islamic" terrorists, whilst those who need to know, know e.g. the Thai government.

    2. The Americans are not happy about Thailand moving closer to China.

The USA is a mafia-state which controls its empire through terror, intimidation, blackmail and murder.

    3. People on this forum complain about Ashraf Ghani and the Kabul government but what some of these same posters fail to realize is that half of the world is under US direct or semi-direct control.

    - Germany and Japan de facto occupied with thousands of US troops, German and Japanese foreign policy can only operate within certain parameters set by the US.

    - Turkey. Despite Erdogan's much vaunted independence, the Turkish economy can be bankrupted overnight. All of Turkey's key players are controlled by the US, be that the Fethullachilar, Erdogan and the AKP/Milli Gorus, "Greywolves" (set up by NATO general Alparslan Turkes), the US-controlled Turkish military.

The US has troops and bases located in Turkey.

    - Thailand is just another example of a country which the US will not allow to drift too far away from US influence.

However the US is fighting a losing battle and is weakening day by day whilst China with its thousands of years of civilization is waiting patiently and biding its time, growing stronger and stronger.

    • The Anger of Putin

Russia is preparing itself for possible nuclear war and has its massive military on war footing. It recently sent two strategic bombers capable of hitting the USA with nukes close to the American coast as a warning and to intimidate the USA.

      Russia backs Syria against Israel.

Syria has shot down an American-made Israeli war plane which violated Syrian airspace. This is not being reported in the "free" and "evertruthful" western-media so anyone reporting this will be dubbed a "conspiracy theorist" (someone who does not claim the western media is eternally truthful and the only source of truth and guidance).

Israeli warplane shot down over Syria

      ARA News

Quneitra, Syria – The Syrian air defense shot down an Israeli war jet over the Quneitra city, military sources reported on Saturday.

“Our (Syrian) air defense shot down the Israeli warplane on Friday midnight after it violated our airspace,” a Syrian army official said.

This comes amid Israeli army response with heavy artillery and airstrikes on Syrian army bases after several rockets fired from Syria exploded in Israel’s north.

At least four rockets were fired at the northern Galilee and Golan Heights on Thursday afternoon, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Israel renewed Friday its airstrikes on regime bases in Khan Al-Sheih sub-district in Damascus province and in the Quneitra province.

      • By the way for all the western media-fanboys here, who believe that the mainstream western media is the only source of "truth" and "guidance" in the world and everything else is wrong and dub everything else as a "conspiracy theory" site/source, then read this:

        1. Western media claim Israel attacks Syria.

Israel "holds the Syrian government responsible for attacks emanating from Syria", the army said, adding it had retaliated against targets in Syria.

An Israeli military source said the air force and artillery had struck "five or six times" in the Syrian Golan.

        2. If an Israeli warplane is shot down, will the western media and the Israelis jump up and down about it?

        No.

However for western media fanboys on this forum like Pakistani Pathan, jankhan and others, the western media is always true and never lies.

Saudis can deny their planes were shot or their military failures, but the "truthful" and "ever-honest" western governments and their media would never do such a thing.

        3. What has come of this Israeli aggression against Syria and violating the airspace and territory of a UN member state?

Why are the Israelis so quiet now?

        ****

Russia has given Syria lots of weaponry including full air defence systems and Iran realizing that sanctions against it will be lifted soon has also told the Syrians not to exercise as much restraint against the Israelis as they used to.

I doubt there will be any more Israeli violations of Syrian airspace soon.

Bangkok bombing: Who are the Turkish terrorist group the Grey Wolves?

          Date

          August 30, 2015 - 2:12PM

          Lindsay Murdoch
South-East Asia correspondent for Fairfax Media

Mehmet Ali Agca, who shot Pope John-Paul II in Rome in 1981, arrives a hotel after he was released from prison in Ankara, Turkey.

Bangkok: Neo-fascists from a Turkish terrorist group called Grey Wolves have emerged as key suspects in the Bangkok bombing after the arrest of a man, believed to be Turkish, in the Thai capital with bomb-making material.

The group's death squads have stalked Turkey since the 1960s, murdering left-wing and liberal activists, university students and journalists and engaging in street battles and attacks.

Pope John Paul meets Mehmet Ali Agca who tried to assassinate him.

They gained international notoriety in 1981 when Mehmet Ali Agca, one of their collaborators, shot and nearly killed Pope John Paul II in St Peter's Square.

The Grey Wolves are known for their distinct hand sign, which represents a wolf head, made by holding up a forefinger and little finger.

The group's ideology centres on the glory days of Turkish history, seeking to unite Muslim Turkic peoples from the Balkans to Central Asia in a pan-Turkish extension of the Turkish nation-state.

Pope John Paul II lies seriously wounded in his open car moments after he was shot by Mehmet Ali Agca in St Peter's Square on May 13, 1981.

The group extended operations in the early 1990s into post-Soviet states with Turkic and Muslim populations, including the Nagorno-Karabakh War in Azerbaijan and Chechen conflicts.

The group is believed to have ties to Turkish crime gangs that operate in Bangkok that could have provided logistical support for their attack, security analysts say.

Thai police have been searching for Turkish nationals who arrived in Thailand in the 15 days before a blast tore through foreign tourists and Thais at the Erawan Shrine on August 17, killing 20 people and injuring more than 120 in an unprecedented attack.

But their breakthrough in the investigation came when residents of a predominantly Muslim district of Bangkok on Saturday reported to police the suspicious activities of a non-Thai speaking man renting five rooms in a seedy, four-storey apartment block.

After more than 100 police surrounded the building, they found a man believed to be 28 in a room with a stack of false passports and bomb-making equipment similar to that used in the shrine bombing, including ball bearings, pipes and fuses.

The bearded man with short cropped hair has been charged with possession of bomb-making material and is being held in a Thai military base pending further investigation.

Anthony Davis, a respected Bangkok-based security analyst with IHS-Jane's, said last week the Grey Wolves were likely to be behind the bombing because they had both motive and capability, although he did not rule out other possibilities.

"They are violent and operate below the radar," he said.

Mr Davis said the group had "latched on to in a big way" Uighur Muslims in western China who claim they have suffered years of persecution from Beijing.

Thailand infuriated the Uighur movement in July when the country deported to China 109 Uighur men who had been separated from their wives and children.

Ethnic Chinese tourists appear to have been targets of the shrine bombers.

Mr Davis described the Bangkok attack as potentially the nightmare that has worried security agencies, a link-up between terrorism and organised crime.

          Comment:

A short while ago I made a reference to the so-called "Greywolves" (Bozkurtlar in Turkish).

The Australian article above is from the same western media that is revered and adored by western media fanboys such as jankhan and Mahmoud Al-Yemeni (Brown Skinned Coward) who swallow anything the mainstream, official western media say as "the definitive unquestionable truth".

The article above was propaganda and trying to vilify the so-called "greywolves" (not that they don't deserve to be vilified) by connecting them with a very old incident, the attempted assassination of a previous pope.

However it is cheap trashy western media propaganda, however it is garbage like this which is swallowed by pseudo-intellectuals and western fanboys such as Brown Skinned Coward (Mahmoud Al-Yemeni) who due to being thoroughly brainwashed and indoctrinated refuse to believe anything not sanctioned by the western media they revere.

What the low-quality article above didn't mention is this.

Some facts, even according to the western media.

          1. The guy who founded the greywolves was a NATO officer of the pro-American Turkish army, Alparslan Turkes.

          Turkish NATO officer, Alparslan Turkes.

          2.

During the Cold War, an important asset was the Counter-Guerrilla, and the Grey Wolves; the paramilitary youth branch of the Nationalist Movement Party.[1] Before the death of Counter-Guerrilla Alparslan Türkeş, the far-right paramilitary Grey Wolves were used to attack leftists.

The CIA also maintains a cadre of moles inside the National Intelligence Organization, as acknowledged in 1977 by its former deputy director—and CIA recruit—Sabahattin Savasman.

Basically Alparslan Turkes set up the greywolves to combat leftists in Turkey and was part of America's anti-communism campaign.

However pan-Turkism (like "Islamic" radicalism) was planned to be used by the Americans, through their Turkish proxies, against Russia and China both of whom have very large Turkic minorities.

This is a continuation of the 19th century western European promotion of pan-Turkism to weaken Russia with its large Turkic minorities.

So the fact that the greywolves terrorist organization has now targeted Thailand should not surprise anyone.

          The greywolves = CIA.

The Americans are trying to bully the Thais through their Turkish asset.

However in the long-run American-style mafia tactics and bullying will not work and rather than intimidate the Thais, this will repel them and other ASEAN states. This attack automatically means a veto on Erdogan's hairbrained idea for Turkey to join ASEAN.

Yes, Erdogan wants Turkey to join the south-east Asian version of the EU, called ASEAN.

          Guess what ASEAN stands for?

"Association of South East Asian Nations"

When did Turkey become part of south-east Asia?

          Erdogan wants Turkey in ASEAN

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told media during a three-day trip to Indonesia on Friday that he wanted Turkey to join his host country as a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Countries through out the world should be aware that Turkey is essentially a US satellite state and one of the most important satellites for the US. Turkey's role is to promote "Islamic" radicalism and pan-Turkism and to destabilize the middle east, China and Russia.

As a Bangladeshi I hope the Bangladeshi security services and others take a note of this.

The Turks have already physically attacked the Bangladeshi embassy in Ankara.

The Turks have been harassing and insulting Bangladesh over war crimes trials of "Islamist" war criminals.

Bangladesh, Thailand, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Libya and other countries should all work with China and Russia to make sure Turkey cannot be a threat.

Bangladesh should refuse to buy any Turkish military products or give construction deals to any Turkish companies we should keep our distance from this rogue terrorist state.

Turk arrested in Bangkok for the Bangkok bombing.

Chinese restaurant in Istanbul destroyed by greywolves over anger with China.

Pan-Turkic nationalism, used by America to destabilize Russia and China.

          • Claims that Welsh MI6 spy who was found dead in holdall 'hacked into secret data about Bill Clinton'

            15:50, 30 AUGUST 2015
            BY WALESONLINE

Gareth Williams, from Anglesey, was found dead in a padlockled bag in his flat in 2010 and his death remains a mystery

MI6 spy Gareth Williams (left), 'hacked into secret data about Bill Clinton'

MI6 spy Gareth Williams, who was found dead in a holdall, hacked into restricted information about former US President Bill Clinton, it has been claimed.

The 31-year-old from Valley, near Holyhead on Anglesey, was discovered inside a padlocked bag in a bath at his London home in 2010 and his death remains a mystery.

Theories surrounding his death include speculation that he was killed by fellow agents or suffocated during a sex game that went wrong.

Now it has been claimed that he illegally obtained a guest list for an event attended by Mr Clinton as a favour for a friend who was going.

            'Diplomatic nightmare'

A source told the Sun on Sunday: “The Clinton diary hack came at a time when Williams’ work with America was of the most sensitive nature.

“It was a diplomatic nightmare for Sir John Sawers, the new director of MI6 at the time.”

More: MI6 spy Gareth Williams 'killed by agents who then broke into his flat to destroy evidence'

In 2013, following a three-year investigation, the Metropolitan Police concluded he had locked himself inside the red holdall and no one else was involved.

In contrast, a coroner ruled that Mr Williams had been killed unlawfully.

            'Evidence moved'

Last week it was claimed that unknown secret service agents could have broken into his London flat through a skylight to clean evidence from the crime scene.

A source close to the investigation said forensic officers noticed equipment left in the Pimlico flat had been moved, despite the property being under armed guard.

The source claimed special footplates, which allow officers to walk across the crime scene without contaminating evidence, appeared to have been moved on the first day of the investigation.

Detectives suggested that someone had scaled the walls of the building and climbed in through the skylight to get access to evidence left behind.

            Purpose of this thread

The purpose of this thread is to monitor the global geo-political chess game being waged between Russia (Putin) & China v the USA.

It therefore helps us to understand the true reality of the USA and the people that run it.

There are countless articles I have not included in this thread and lots of information, and I try to be selective and there are certain websites I omit as institutionalized house-negros here will immediately dismiss them, thus I chose websites which are less controversial.

The above article is not from a Muslim site but from walesonline.co.uk

However many in the west believe (falsely) that the BBC, CNN, Fox and other western media are totally true and impartial that they have no relationship with the UK/US authorities. They swallow all the false narratives promoted by these organizations.

They refuse to question, challenge, scrutinize and assess alternative points of view.

The US rules the world through bullying, terror, covert operations ("conspiracies") and other methods, the bombing of Thailand by the US-controlled "greywolves" is just another example of this.

However Russia & China will prevail.

            • Israeli media reporting Russian planes and personnel to go to Syria.

              Russian jets in Syrian skies

Russia has begun its military intervention in Syria, deploying an aerial contingent to a permanent Syrian base, in order to launch attacks against ISIS and Islamist rebels; US stays silent.

              Published: 08.31.15, 15:34 / Israel News

Russian fighter pilots are expected to begin arriving in Syria in the coming days, and will fly their Russian air force fighter jets and attack helicopters against ISIS and rebel-aligned targets within the failing state.

According to Western diplomats, a Russian expeditionary force has already arrived in Syria and set up camp in an Assad-controlled airbase. The base is said to be in area surrounding Damascus, and will serve, for all intents and purposes, as a Russian forward operating base.

In the coming weeks thousands of Russian military personnel are set to touch down in Syria, including advisors, instructors, logistics personnel, technical personnel, members of the aerial protection division, and the pilots who will operate the aircraft...

The Russians do not harbor offensive intentions towards Israel or other sovereign states in the area, and their main stated goal is battling ISIS and preserving Assad's rule. However, their presence will represent a challenge to the Israeli Air Force's freedom of operation in the skies above the Middle East.

Western diplomatic sources recently reported that a series of negotiations had been held between the Russians and the Iranians, mainly focusing on ISIS and the threat it poses to the Assad regime. The infamous Iranian Quds Force commander Major General Qasem Soleimani recently visited Moscow in the framework of these talks. As a result the Russians and the Iranians reached a strategic decision: Make any effort necessary to preserve Assad's seat of power, so that Syria may act as a barrier, and prevent the spread of ISIS and Islamist backed militias into the former Soviet Islamic republics.

Russia has begun its military intervention in Syria, deploying an aerial contingent to a permanent Syrian base, in order to launch attacks against ISIS and Islamist rebels; US stays silent.

House-negros and Arab nationalist fanatics and others can dismiss all this (Israeli media, their Israelis being their Semitic cousins) as "propaganda".

              However some facts.

              1. I've stated that for Russia, Syria is a red line. They will never allow Syria i.e. Assad to fall.

As a result the Russians and the Iranians reached a strategic decision: Make any effort necessary to preserve Assad's seat of power, so that Syria may act as a barrier, and prevent the spread of ISIS and Islamist backed militias into the former Soviet Islamic republics.
This confirms what I have said before.

Not everything is reported in the western media, and nor is everything in the western media true, and even the little which is true is often selective, de-contextualized or accompanied by false spin (agenda driven, western media work with their governments covertly).

In addition to the quote above I can also disclose that not only has Russia resolved (from a few years back) that they will never allow Syria to fall, but so has China.

China, Russia and Iran are all in this together, for them this is a war of survival.

China and Russia will go to nuclear war if need be to protect the Syrian regime.

              2. The Israelis know the fact that the Russians are sending their forces there, they are being warned to back off from daring to attack Syria.

The Russians do not harbor offensive intentions towards Israel or other sovereign states in the area, and their main stated goal is battling ISIS and preserving Assad's rule. However, their presence will represent a challenge to the Israeli Air Force's freedom of operation in the skies above the Middle East.
"..Israeli Air Force's freedom of operation in the skies above the Middle East." = euphemism for violating Syrian airspace.

They used the phrase "skies above the Middle East" and not "Israeli airspace", why would their airforce want to go in to the airspace of a foreign state? That is illegal and aggression.

              Putin means business.

He's ready to go to war for Syria if necessary and is already doing so by sending the Russian air force and lots of personnel to Syria.

This is exactly as I had foretold earlier in the thread.

              • Russian special forces may be on the front lines in Syria.

New evidence proves Russian military directly engaging in Syrian Civil War
The regime's offensive in the Lattakia Governorate continues to reveal previously unknown details about Russia's involvement in the Syrian Civil War. Apart from the sighting of recently delivered Russian BTR-82A infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), new evidence now confirmes Russian military personnel has a key role in leading the offensive on the ground.

Sound fragments heard in a news report from the Media Wing of the National Defence Force (NDF) covering the offensive in Lattakia, which was also the first to reveal the presence of BTR-82As in Syria, confirm earlier accounts of Russian military personnel being sent to Lattakia in support of the ongoing regime operations in this area. Together with the Syrian Arab Army (SyAA) and the recently arrived Republican Guard, the NDF launched a new offensive aimed at recapturing territory previously lost to the rebels in North-Eastern Lattakia. If it proves successful, the offensive will greatly enhance the regime's control over its currently endangered heartland, and provide a serious blow to rebel forces.

The conversation is difficult to hear due to the booming noise coming from the BTR-82A's 30mm 2A72 autocannon, yet certain phrases can be made out, including calls to resume fire support and at some point "Павлин, павлин, мы выходим", which translates to "Peacock, Peacock, we are moving out" (Peacock presumably being a callsign).

A translation from 2:03 to 2:30 of the video is provided below:

                2:03: ''Давай!'' - Give me/Come on!

                2:06: ''Бросай!'' - Throw!

2:10: "Ещё раз! Ещё давай!'' - Once again! Do it again!

2:30: "Павлин, павлин, мы выходим" - Peacock, Peacock [callsign], we are moving out.

Although only little of the conversation is heard, it appears to be directed at the crew of the BTR-82A, implicating the vehicle was in fact operated by Russian military personnel. However, when the subject of Russian personnel being sent to Syria was raised on the 4th of August to Vladimir Putin's press secretary, following comments made by the head of Russia's Airborne Troops, he reportedly denied requests of such nature had been made by the Syrian regime.

Interestingly, this is not the first indication of Russian ground involvement in the Syrian Civil War this month. The news website Souria Net reported on the 12th of August that Russian military personnel was dispatched to the village of Slanfah (some 30 kilometres East of Lattakia) to defend against the rebels' advance on the primarily Alawite ground.

Consequently, the pro-regime newspaper al-Watan ("The Homeland") published an article on the 26th of August claiming Russia is expanding its presence in Syria by constructing a new military base in Jablah, a coastal city in the Lattakia Governorate some 25 kilometres South of Lattakia itself. The same article mentions a variety of rumours and conspiracy theories regarding Western and Russian meddling in the Syrian Civil War including the much-publicised but ultimately false story of the delivery of six Russian MiG-31 interceptors last month, as well as the supposed start of handing satellite imagery to pro-regime forces by Russia. Although no evidence towards the the provision of satellite imagery has been found before, it is known that Russia supported the Syrian regime both prior to and during the Civil War with signals intelligence (SIGINT) through its Center-S, S-2 and (presumably) S-3 intelligence gathering facilities, the first of which was captured on the 5th of October 2014.

The news also coincides with an upsurge of sightings of Russian-made drones in Syrian skies, further indicating the initiation of novel intelligence programmes in recent months.

While the fact that Russian military contractors have operated in Syria before might lead one to argue the conversation in Russian might not have been made by Russian military personnel, it should be noted that the probability of such contractors operating an advanced weapons system like the BTR-82A are very slim. Additionally, the Russian government actually forbids the deployment of contractors in Syria, and the FSB detained the leadership of the so-called Slavonic Corps upon return to Russia (which was in October 2013). Of course, the statements made by Syrian media corroborate the notion of Russian enlisted personel in Syria, further undermining any arguments that could be made towards the theory that the exchange in the video was made by private military contractors.

Obviously, this evidence of secretive Russian military involvement in Syria does not represent an isolated occurance: much-publicised reports of Russian military personnel operating in the Ukraine and years of unabating (even increasing) support to the Syrian regime serve as a testament to Russia's dedication towards protecting its foreign interests, even if this means getting directly entangled in open conflict. The fact that such a stealthy intervention now appears to be occurring once again increases the uncertainty of Syria's future, and may spell the onset of much wider Russian participation in a war that nears its half-decade mark.

                - Not everything that happens is known to the public or declared publically, hence the existence (for any House Negroes reading this) of "Secret Services".

"Secret" means not known to the public.

Russia publicly denied it has sent special forces in to Syria

However, when the subject of Russian personnel being sent to Syria was raised on the 4th of August to Vladimir Putin's press secretary, following comments made by the head of Russia's Airborne Troops, he reportedly denied requests of such nature had been made by the Syrian regime.
                It was denied.

However believe it or not, governments - be they western or non-western - can "lie" (shock, horror for all house negroes), so the Russians most probably got their airborne forces commander to publicly declare Russia would send troops if needed then they (the Russians) rejected this, basically a covert warning they were preparing to escalate their aid to Syria.

                Here is the video:

As I said, Syria is a red line for Putin.

Just as the US will contemplate using nukes for the defence of Israel, Putin is prepared to do the same for Syria i.e. go to nuclear war if need be.

He has already sent covert special forces there and Israeli media is now claiming he is going to send his airforce there.

                • One of the ways to know how accurate someone really is in their analysis is in their predictions.

If anyone reads this thread they can see that I have consistently maintained that Syria is a red line for Russia.

I have also stated that Russia would consider sending troops in to Syria.

Even a well-known blog and now international website run by the blogger known as "The Saker", an ex-American military officer with Russian links said that Russia would not send troops to Syria.

Who was right, Bengal_Tiger, or "The Saker" who has lots of global traffic and gets hundreds of comments per article?

                  Answer: Bengal Tiger.

Saker states that he doubts Russia will interfere in Syria militarily, link.

The Internet is flooded with rumors about a Russian military intervention in Syria. It all began with an article by Thierry Meyssan in Voltaire Net and now this rumor made it to Zero Hedge. Finally, the Israeli website Ynet also joined the rumor mill. Here are the two main assertions made by these sources:

Russia has just created a Russo-Syrian Commission and has begun supplying weapons, sharing intelligence, and sending advisors. All of this is more or less coordinated with the White House.
Russia has begun its military intervention in Syria, deploying an aerial contingent to a permanent Syrian base, in order to launch attacks against ISIS and Islamist rebels; US stays silent.
What is interesting in these rumors is that they appear to come from two very different sources. Meyssan gets his information from Syrian sources while Ynet quotes “western diplomatic sources”.

Finally, I will readily admit that there could be a Russian rationale for an intervention in Syria: the Russian security establishment is united in the belief that the US plan is to eventually turn Daesh (aka ‘ISIS’) against Russia and this one of the reasons it is so important to assist the Syrians: it is better to fight Daesh in Syria than it is to fight it in southern Russia.

So the rumor about a Russian intervention is at least credible. And yet, I don’t buy it.
                  The Saker's article: http://thesaker.is/a-russian-militar...much-doubt-it/

                  He was wrong.

As I said Russia is prepared to go to war for Syria.

                  - The Russians now have their planes in Syria.

                  - They are building a new base which may contain up to 1,000 pilots.

                  - They have Russian troops on the frontline.

British paper, the Daily Telegraph states Russian soldiers are fighting on the frontlines in Syria.

Images of Russian soldiers in Syria.

Already the Israeli media has basically admitted that with nuclear power Russia now stationing troops and air power in Syria, that Syrian air space is now basically off limits to the Israelis.

There have been certain denials that there are Russian troops in Syria, but everyone (those who need to know, know) is aware that the Russian bear has sent its forces in to Syria.

A Russian submarine with ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles) is now sialing to Syria. The submarine apparently has 200 nuclear bombs.

Russian submarine heading to Syria allegedly with missiles loaded with 200 nuclear bombs i.e. a warning to the US to back off.

This submarine alone can destroy the USA as one missile would destroy New York, another Washington DC, another L.A, another Dallas, another Miami etc.

                        Question 1 children:

So in 2013 when the west was talking about bombing Syria what did the usually very neutral, non-interventionist Chinese do?

                        a: Support the bombing plan?
                        b: Stay neutral?
                        c: Oppose it?

Answer (unless you are a supporter of Taliban terrorists like "Insight"/UnknownPrince or some House Negro who reveres the western media):

                        They opposed it.

                        Question 2 children:

After opposing it, did they carry out any practical action?

a: No their opposition was merely verbal?
b: They carried out military action of some sort?

Answer (unless you are a supporter of Taliban terrorists like "Insight"/UnknownPrince or some House Negro who reveres the western media):

They sent warships to the Syrian coast.

Beijing says its ships are heading to Syria’s coast merely to “observe” American and Russian vessels, but a less benign interpretation is that the Jinggangshan is there to augment the Russian fleet and intimidate the US Navy. This sleek-looking Chinese amphibious-landing vessel can carry a battalion of marines and was used earlier this year to stare down the smaller nations surrounding the South China Sea, an area Beijing is trying to close off to other countries.
                        Source

Washington-based, Neo-con aligned World Affairs Journal.

Now for some of the simpletons here who believe everything that their glorious white masters in the "ever-truthful", "unquestionable" media tell them and their spin, the fact that China sent military warships to the Syrian coast means nothing.

The Chinese spending money and resources and endangering the lives of their sailors in the volatile middle east was nothing major.

Anyone who disagrees with the "ever-truthful" western media and their spin, swallowed unquestioningly by their house negro slaves is a "conspiracy theorist".

However for normal people, the Chinese basically told the west to back off from attacking Syria and then sent warships half way across the world to deter a western attack on Syria.

Now I have not used non-western sources, but quoted western propaganda sources such as the BBC, CNN and the World Affairs Journal.

However because the house negroes of this forum weren't told by their white masters, the presenters, white "experts" on TV that China sent in ships to block an American attack on Syria they will reject this.

Only what their white western masters, journalists say is true and anything else which deviates this even if based on evidence admitted by their white western masters (in this case China was ready to block a UN resolution allowing America to attack Syria and sent warships near the Syrian coast).

                        - Insight (UnknownPrince) is a supporter of terrorists in Afghanistan and in other regions of the Muslim world but also enjoys the benefits of living in secular capitalist America protected by NATO. Whilst a Pakistani like himself enjoys life in a western capitalist society he wants Afghans to live under Taliban tyranny.

Insight's heroes, the Taliban beating Muslim Afghan women.

Now I usually ignore this rude, arrogant and deluded American Pakistani terrorist supporter who thinks he is some sort of geo-political genius when he is in fact nothing but a deluded clown, but this time this troll mentioned me and the impression I get is he has been insulting me on other threads (not sure as I have him on block, but evidence indicates that e.g. certain other threads).

To be honest, I could present evidence about the major China-Russia alliance, axis against the USA.

The close alliance between Russia and Iran over Syria.

                        The Chinese, Iranian alliance.

                        However there is no point.

For all silent guest readers please feel free to weigh up my opinions and analysis based on the evidence I present, feel totally free to reject my opinions. I however present material which can be disregarded but can also be used to formulate a similar or divergent opinion to mine.

Insight/UnknownPrince however is a rude, arrogant, terrorist-supporting clown. Please ignore this troll.

Insight, stop mentioning and quoting me!

You and your Pakistani-backed Taliban heroes will be defeated!

                        • Western media and house negroes.

On this forum there are one or two house negroes, these are some of their beliefs.

                          1. The western media never lies.

                          2. The western media is noble and seeks nothing but good and only to show the truth.

                          3. The western media has no agenda.

                          4. The western media has no connection to the establishment, directly or indirectly.

                          5. Anyone who disagrees with the western media is a "conspiracy theorist".

For such house negroes, the western media must always be believed, it must never be questioned, it must never be challenged.

It's particular spin of events must never be questioned.

Even if indisputable facts are presented and basic logic is used to present an analysis different to the western media, no this is wrong.

How can anyone question the western media?

                          They are truthful!

                          They have experts!

Whilst Taliban-supporter Insight is not that bad, his comrade ex-Taliban supporter and American House Negro, Brown Skinned Coward is far worse.

Link about liar, coward, abuser of women, bully and American House Negro, Brown Skinned Coward.

This coward is devoid of the ability to engage in independent and critical analysis on geo-political events based on the information available to him. Rather this American House Negro will always believe what his white American masters whom he reveres and adores preach to him in their "always truthful", "never-to-be-questioned" western media.

Anyone who disagrees with the white man is a "conspiracy theorist".

In the "minds" (if it can even be called that as it is totally brainwashed and incapable of independent analysis) of such house negroes such as Brown Skinned Coward, the following goes:

                          - Never dare question the western media.

                          - The western media and their spin is always right, always truthful, always noble.

Anyone who dares to disagree is a "conspiracy theorist".

                          * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

                          • i did not even insult you, but because you cant handle facts, you have gone on an angry tirade HA ha ha. you offer zero evidence that China is militarily supporting Assad like Iran and your Russian heroes.

                            • whats worst is you come to a Pashtun forum posting pro Russian garbage. Its like me going to a Bangladeshi forum and posting pics of Pak army soldiers and their generals and then thinking no one should get offended. btw i completely agreed with Bangladeshi resistance against Pakistan.

you on the other hand are full of contradictions

                              • Not sure what "Insight" (UnknownPrince) said above, nor do I care really, but I do know that he mentioned me in another thread and yes (maybe wrongly) I unignored that thread and read his false claims/analysis.

                                For the sake of readers.

                                1. UnknownPrince ("Insight" a.k.a. Lynx a.k.a Ghundal a.k.a. Shah-i-Kot a.k.a Ashraf Ghaljay) said that there were some Chinese missiles in the hands of militants which shot down some Syrian helicopters.

                                2. Maybe this is true but there is no evidence to indicate that China sold this directly to these militants. It is like claiming that militants using Kalashnikovs are being supplied directly by Russia, when anyone can get hold of a Kalashnikov.

However what the troll fails to realize is that China is generally neutral, non-interventionist in global politics and doesn't believe in offending anyone, but despite that even the heavily non-interventionist Chinese:

a - Were ready to block a UN resolution allowing American bombing of Syria.

b - Sent warships close to the Syrian coast in tandem with Russia.

c - conduct major military exercises with Russia (as a message to America) and are allied to Iran too.

However "Insight" (UnknownPrince) will probably now claim that China is against the Syrian government and is supporting anti-Syrian rebels...lol.

China, Russia veto UN resolution condemning Syrian regime crackdown.

                                Link, BBC article, 2012.

Now if this is the Chinese completely acting out of character and vetoing a UN resolution (something they hardly ever do e.g .even UN resolutions against Iran - which is an ally of their, but no doubt "Insight" will now claim Iran and China are "enemies"), and a UN resolution which did not even authorize force but was a moral condemnation with no actual real sanctions or punitive action, imagine what the Chinese would do if the Syrian regime was actually directly threatened?

Maybe send war ships all the way from China to the Syrian coast perhaps?

                                Oops...they actually did that!
