pukhtane are treated like **** by some incompetent people in your this so called "pak"istan.
i know enough about the terrorist units of pakistani army and if you ask me its very stupid and has colonial structure.how can you dare to say you are all pakistanis while you have a camp of punjabis in Mardan called hiome of punjabis.how stupid could you be to claim that in pakistan everyone is equal but at the same time people have these different units such as punjabi ,pathan etc,and when they call you pathan they purposely try to disrespect you yet you dare come here infront of a pukhtun and try to defend these evil hypocrites.
the frontier unit(the dumbest name ever)in punjab arent randomly killing punjabis and they are dogs of the same punjabis.

there is no problem with all this ashna?
    think twice

This Pakistan is not that much simple and its not a colonial structure .. It's because they are divided in different groups so that they could be trained well, facilitated well.. There is always grouping all around like in a school in one specific standard there are different sections try to understand the difference. Even in the Military Academy Kakul there are companies like Tipu etc etc .. This facilitates both the staff and the students.

That's simply a unit's name Punjab Regiment. There are other regiments too. So it's you who is giving it an ethnic color not me!!

there si no such thing as pashtun tajik or whatever regiment in AFG.
in Afg the whole military structure is based on pashto ,farsi and arabic and not english since we arent being a colony.

in Afghanistan the names are such as Toofan,Shamshad, etc.
i think you dont understand colonists and how they want to leave a colonised country behind. They purposely called them these names since they had all these regiment in the british empire.so now what we have is something similar.

Luffy, the simple truth is that Pakistan wanted to use the names of people that invaded 'India'. Babur, Ghazni, Ghori - they all fall into that category. It reveals the kind of India-centric approach and the paranoia that the military establishment and govt. suffers from.

Just that in this case they ended up being the laughing stock of the world as any beginner history student would tell you that these invaders invaded present day Pakistan too. The ancestors of the very people that are now trying to find glory in these names were once killed by these invaders and their lands pillaged. How hilariously deluded can one get?

Haha, the purpose is same whatever the name is ..
It's because each of the major ethnic group in Pakistan does have a representation.. Whatever it may be it was not something to get worried about, as you pointed out this in your vary first post neither it is related to the topic somehow !!

Everyone can have their own perspective about it .. There are many non-Muslim(s) who invaded the united India? Why Pakistan did use their name? Plus is the name really an issue? This missile is capable of doing things whether you call it Babur/Ranjit Singh/Shehbaz Khan or Khalsa Warrior!!

I know Zaid Hamid and his friend journalist version Ahmed Querieshi. They are deluded individuals. The biggest worry is when I see these guys holding seminars and hosting TV shows as 'experts'. If these lunatics are seen as experts, I shudder to think of the people who believe them and are mislead by them

Nomenclature gives us a peek into their inner minds. And Pakistan will never choose a non-Muslim name because it sees itself as the inheritor of the Muslim heritage of the sub-continent.
