I remember a song that goes this way "Life is but a dream, nothing comes to sleepers but a dream". Maybe when this is all over, reality will sink in and life begins when we wake up from our sleep at the end of Mortality. It then defines the time when Hamlet proposed it's purpose "to be or not to be, that is the question..."

Whether we believe in deity or not, our lives need purpose, and that purpose is found through the inner sanctums of reason. Reason can only be defined by what we feel, see, hear, smell and touch. If one reasons that they can feel the love of an infinite and divine being and that love is eternal and pure in nature, and so the definition of reason is fulfilled.

Love can be felt through reason, and reason clearly dictates the warmth appreciation of an eternal being that loves us. However reason also dictates that we govern ourselves through our freedom and that the choices we make in life will echo through the eternities. If we behold to the virtues of truth, honesty and hard work, our joys in the eternal realms will be unbound, but if we deviate into evil, Inshallah the reward of eternal damnation awaits us.

The point of the definition is to show you what a species is in order to know what "Speciation" means. Asexually reproducing organisms form clones of themselves so there aren't "variations", which is a necessary premise for "natural selection.

But, by your definition, they are all different species, because they cannot interbreed, let alone have living, and fertile offspring with each other.

You are going on needless tangents. And still you refuse to provide a definition of species.

I am stuck in a corner, because I stated that I would not provide the scientific definition of a species until Alchemist asked me politely, in a post that did not include name calling, insults, or deliberate attempts to offend, and I am standing behind that. I am a man of my word, and I will not back down. I am tired of him acting in a juvenile manner, and refuse to encourage him.

I'm sorry if this is the case -- many of the questions have been opinion questions, and thus are very hard to cite sources -- but I can try. Any particular answer you want me to expand upon?
