OK, finally, one which I see as having SOME noor on the face.

Where was he shahid? And something about his background, a Qadiri, but what else?

Qadiri is a respectable sufi order of good muslims. Sadly the name is hijacked by hindus in disguise.

These so called sufis with "noor" spit in their followers mouth or make them drink the water after these so called "saints" have washed their smelly nasty foots with. All for blessings of course.

Sufism is doomed. Islam will redeem itself from these heresies.

If you was aware of how much blessing lies in the pious peoples spit, water they have washed hands and feet with then you wouldnt be talking like the way you are talking. If you had the slightest knowledge about this from Hadith then you wouldnt be talking the way you are.Just read the following Hadiths:

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle used to read in his Ruqya, "In the Name of Allah" The earth of our land and the saliva of some of us cure our patient with the permission of our Lord." with a slight shower of saliva) while treating with a Ruqya. (Medicine Bukhari :: Book 7 :: Volume 71 :: Hadith 642)

In the above Hadith Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) tells you clearly "the saliva of some of us cure our patient with the permission of our Lord."

From this Hadith its clear that among the Ummah of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) there are people who are blessed with this blessing from Allah, that their spit can cure. Here are more Hadiths on this:

Medicine (Kitab Al-Tibb) Dawud :: Book 28 : Hadith 3892 Narrated Alaqah ibn Sahar at-Tamimi: We proceeded from the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and came to a clan of the Arabs. They said: We have been told that you have brought what is good from this man. Have you any medicine or a charm, for we have a lunatic in chains? We said: Yes. Then they brought a lunatic in chains. He said: I recited Surat al-Fatihah over him for three days, morning and evening. Whenever I finished it, I would collect my saliva and spit it out, and he seemed as if he were set free from a bond. He said: They gave me some payment, but said: No, not until I ask the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him).

He (the Prophet) said: Accept it, for, by my life, some accept it for a worthless charm, but you have done so for a genuine one.

          Medicine Bukhari :: Book 7 :: Volume 71 :: Hadith 632 Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

Some of the companions of the Prophet came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs, and that tribe did not entertain them. While they were in that state, the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion). They said, (to the companions of the Prophet ), "Have you got any medicine with you or anybody who can treat with Ruqya?" The Prophet's companions said, "You refuse to entertain us, so we will not treat (your chief) unless you pay us for it." So they agreed to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them (the Prophet's companions) started reciting Surat-al-Fatiha and gathering his saliva and spitting it (at the snake-bite). The patient got cured and his people presented the sheep to them, but they said, "We will not take it unless we ask the Prophet (whether it is lawful)." When they asked him, he smiled and said, "How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? Take it (flock of sheep) and assign a share for me."

Are these Sikhs? Good selection to show the very clear similarity of the eyes and style of a few of those Sufis' pictures. They were the ones I was the LEAST drawn to. They give me the willies.

To be completely fair, however, I want to say a few I do like.

I was waiting to see if Pakhtun_Policy would select the one Pir who I mentioned earlier as being special in my humble world view. He did now. He could have picked a more representative picture, though. I have some in my files.
I like too the one from Kashmir and the black and white picture with the script atop it which appears to be from an older era.
                There is no caption -
                Who is it?

I don't like all that feetwashing superstitious stuff. If someone believes in it, fine. But it's not for me.

However, some unappealing beliefs or ways does not mean that some of these Sufis are not very righteous.

How can we form some sort of cross-jurisdictional alliance - or, at least, understanding and concordance - between REALLY GOOD MUSLIMS who have the fierceness needed to fight back against many evils of today ?!

It's IMPERATIVE ! I think it's important to acknowledge any good one sees in other paths so that some kind of cooperation can exist.
But not to endorse every wrong thing that side may be doing.

Why will there be any difference? The Sikhs copied the Sufi style of clothing, teaching, and look. The earliest Guru's had Muslim followers and teachers, and in fact many thought they were Muslim themselves including Guru Nanak.

Sufis didn't copy Sikhs, it's the other way around.

Now, if you were to compare them to Sadus (Hindu holimen) there will be a huge difference.

You saw pictures of Muslim scholars emulating the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) in dress and appearance and the first thing they reminded you of was Sikhs? So you rush to find a picture and post it here with the comment "Spot the difference"? It's unfortunate that the beard and turban remind you of Sikhs. But think twice before acting upon your first impulse, because your post reveals more about you than anyone else.

This is not the first time you've compared Muslims to kafirs (or referred to them as such directly). May Allah fill your heart with truth and with love for His servants so that you respect them enough not to compare them to kafirs.

If you are asked whether you knew anything about the Muslims in these pictures before you attacked them, how will you respond?

The attempt is futile, brother. He knows that a non-Muslim would think the same thing of Muslims and Sikhs. And he knows, or should know, that he is indirectly mocking the beard and turban.

                            @Shimlawar Khurasani

Quran states: O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!.. (4:94)

What a beautiful ayah, even when we go for Jihad and if someone offers us salutation then we are ordered not to call them disbelievers, but look at the extremists ( wahabis/deobandis) who call even Muslims as disbelievers let alone other.

Narrated Usama bin Zaid: Allah's Apostle sent us towards Al-Huruqa, and in the morning we attacked them and defeated them. I and an Ansari man followed a man from among them and when we took him over, he said, "La ilaha illal-Lah." On hearing that, the Ansari man stopped, but I killed him by stabbing him with my spear. When we returned, the Prophet came to know about that and he said, "O Usama! Did you kill him after he had said "La ilaha ilal-Lah?" I said, "But he said so only to save himself." The Prophet kept on repeating that so often that I wished I had not embraced Islam before that day.
                            ►Volume 5, Book 59, Number 568: (Sahih Bukhari)

Subhan Allah this is an explicit proof that any Muslim who testifies by saying "La Ilaha Il Allah" cannot be declared as Mushrik, do the extremists( wahabis/deobandis) still claim to know more than Prophet (Peace be upon him), rather Quran itself?

Anas bin Malik (ra) narrates from the Prophet (Peace be upon him) who said: Three things are the roots of faith (1) To refrain from (killing) a person who says “La ILaha IL Allah” (2) Not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits (3) and also not to declare him out of Islam due to any of his deed. Jihad continues from the day I was sent as Prophet to the day that last member of my community fight with the Dajjal. The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine Decree. [Sunnan Abu Dawud, Volume No. 2, Hadith # 2170]

Hudhaifa i.e. Ibn al Yaman (ra) said that the Prophet (saw) said: Verily, I fear about a man from you who will read the Qur'an so much that his face will become enlightened and he will come to personify Islam. This will continue until Allah desires. Then these things will be taken away from him when he will disregard them by putting them all behind his back and will attack his neighbor with the sword accusing him of Shirk. The Prophet was asked - which of the two will be deserving of such an accusation? - The attacker or the attacked? The Prophet replied - the attacker (the one accusing the other of Shirk)

Narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, Tahqiq Nasir Albani, Volume 001, Page No. 200, Hadith Number 81] Nasir Albani said: 'this hadith is hasan' also see [Silsilat al-ahadith al-sahihah - Albani Volume 007-A, Page No. 605, Hadith Number 3201]
Narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, Volume No. 1, Page No. 282,
►Bukhari in his Tarikh ul Kabir, Volume No. 4, Page No. 301,
►Haythami in Majma Az Zawaid, where he declared its chain to be “Hassan”, Imam Ibn Kathir declared the Chain as “Jayyid (strong)” in his Tafsir al Quran al Azim, Volume No. 2, Page No. 266]

Note: This hadith is also a backbone breaker of those who accuse other Muslims of Shirk. According to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) the accuser is more deserving to be a Mushrik than the accused. May our parents be taken ransom for Prophet of Mercy who has closed all doors for misguided people who go around calling majority of Muslims as Mushrikeen.

"We were sitting in a circle in Kufa with Abu Hurayra whereupon a young man passed by. A man sitting with us said: 'This is a Kafir from among the people of the Fire.' Abu Hurayra rose and went to speak with the young man, asking him: 'Who are you?' He replied: Son of so-and-so.' Abu Hurayra said: 'Allah have mercy on your father!' The young man was looking around, so he asked him: 'What are you looking for?' He replied: 'I have not prayed yet.' Abu Hurayra said: 'So you pray?' The young man replied: 'Subhan Allah!' Abu Hurayra: 'And you say Subhan Allah?' He said: 'La Ilaha illAllah!!' Abu Hurayra: 'And you say La Ilaha illAllah?' The young man said: 'I would prefer not to leave Salat even if I were given all there is on the face of the earth.' Abu Hurayra said: 'Allah have mercy on you. Allah have mercy on you. Allah have mercy on you.' Then he came back to his seat in the circle and said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "Whoever bears testimony against a Muslim of which the latter is not deserving, let him prepare for himself a seat in the Hell fire." [Imam Ibn Asakir in Tibyan al Kadhib al Muftari, Page No. 373]

Unless you wahabis/deobandis repent ,you are going one way to hell. You deserve hell because how dare you compare the Sunnah (turban and beard) of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) to sikhs?

                            Astaghfirullah!

This says volumes about you and the hatred you have for the Prophet (pbuh) of Islam. You are wajibe Qatl!
