  • ~ From Islam To Atheism Back To Islam Again

    Salamalaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatu

I came across this interesting video about the story of Nouman Ali Khan, a man who was born into a Muslim family, turned atheist at some point in his life and found his way back to being Muslim. How? And what brought him back? Listen to his story...

YouTube - Muslim who turned to be atheist and back to Islam.

    From Flushing, NY lol.

How could God, if He exists, send people to Hell if they don't have proper proof that He exists?

Because the right path has been clearly distinguished from the wrong path. [Qur'an, 2:256.]

I love these kind of stories. I will listen to it right now.

          Thank you Mayano!

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

          -Ferishta, 1560–1620

If "the right path has been clearly distinguished from the wrong path," then it would be self-evident. However, we don't live in a world where this is self-evident. This path has not been drawn in a manner where we can see it clearly. Which means that it leaves man to interpret what this path is. And because everyone is interpreting what this path is, we have been left with wars and atrocities that are done in the name of God.

When I turn off the television it is no longer on, and when I want to watch the television then I turn it on. This is clear-cut; however, what you have said it is not visible.

As such, if He does exist, one can claim ignorance.

It is clearly visible, in my opinion. Open your eyes.

Look at the structures of the smallest creation, look at atoms, look at the orbitals of the electrons and look at the precision there is in it. Then look at the biggest part of creation known to us, look at the universe. Look at the sun and the planets in their orbitals. Look at the similarity between the smallest and biggest part of creation; can it be coincidence?

Yes, let's accept the big bang theory for a second. If that is really true and the number of atoms in the universe never changes, if atoms can neither be create nor destroyed, where did all the atoms come from in the first place?
Look at nature, look at fate, look at destiny and look at the beauty of creation, can it all be a mere coincidence? By that logic, an encyclopedia must form from an explosion in a library.

Look at the order in universe, if we were only a little bit closer to the sun, we would all burn; if we were only a little further away from the sun, we would all freeze to death.. but has the earth ever changed its orbital? Have we ever gotten closer to the sun or moved farther from it? Can such precision be the result of just a coincidence?

I hope I did not offend you, it wasn't my intention..

I shed a tear or two, one from being emotional, one from laughing.

Please speak your mind. It makes the conversation more relaxing.

We are not speaking about the physical world here. We are speaking of the "right path." If we were speaking of the physical world, then I am pretty sure that the blind man can still claim ignorance for he can't see.

Everything you have mentioned in your post is under investigation. In due time we will figure out the real cause of everything, however for the time being we are puzzled at what is the "right path."

If you say that the right path has been made distinct then how would we explain all the different religions that claim to be from God. They are all fighting for supremacy under the guise of salvation. It would be absurd to not think that religion is not simply a political tool.

I think that there are diverse religions for many purposes, some are man-made, some are modified version of God's religion. But I think as a human being, one has this quest to find out "where we came from". That is one thing. And the 'right path' is a different thing.

Just today, I was talking to a girl who converted to Islam a few weeks ago. She was talking way to converting to Islam and how her family has always pushed her to get involved in the church etc. She was saying that she could never get herself to actually worship in a church and never truly felt anything in Christianity because the idea that Jesus (pbuh) supposedly is God and that Mary (as) is the mother of God.. because how can the creator be created?

It is such questions and such incoherence that lead us to the right way, fairly quickly. If you have time and if you wish to, watch the second video I posted "Why Baba Ali accepted Islam". It deals with various religions and why Baba Ali looked past all other religions and chose Islam. It basically briefly explains how the Islamic path is distinguished from the other paths. I can't express it as well as it is expressed in the video.

Well, if it is about where we came from, then all religions also say we came from God. However, the fact of the matter is that why is one superior over the other when they say that they are from God. Also, you mentioned that different religions had different purposes. Why would it matter when they are all showing you the path to God?

The video simply is preaching that Islam is right, however, within Islam you have so many denominations that are at each others's throats. Again, it fails to show what is the "right path."

Religions be it Judiasm,Christianity or Islam are all the same and none holds supermacy over the other, since they were revealed in a sequel to special nations/regions on specific times, older religion got voided with the arrival of the new message and masses were commanded to let go of the former and follow the new one.
All advocate for the one ness of Allah and teach us how to be pious thus obedient to our creator.
Hinduism,Budhism etc are man made cults and are not accounted to be revealed/ordered by a divine authority.
God damn Hindus worship Rats and consider them to be their gods,i wonder how would Ashwarya Rai look feeding her house rat and prostrating to her begging for mercy (Atheists are worst than Hindus) thought to make it clear
