[7:35] O children of Adam! if Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing My Signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve.

According to the verse 7:35 prophethood is continuing forever.

Today, the ummah is suffering because of MANY interpretations. By accepting him you would have the proper interpretation of Islam as per Hadhrat Muhammad (saw).

And, yes, prophethood would continue until the Day of Judgment. I think there is one more prophet and after that the world would end. But we still have about 900 years left in this cycle. So, that prophet would not come for a LONG time.

Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) was the mujaddid of the 14th century of Islam.

What did he do? He gave life to a dying Islam in the 19th century. Read his books. Before people became his opponents they had declared him the mujaddid of the 14th century.

Having many sects is fine, but prevents Muslims a forward progress.

In his book Aiyinah-e Kamalat-e Islam he has mentioned of another prophet.

Secondly, whenever a prophet comes does he not cause problems? Do people not tell him that he is dividing the people?

That said, would you rather have people divide Islam or have an appointee of Allah come and set the record straight?

If he is proving it via the Quran that Hadhrat Isa (as) is dead, then why are you against him? If the Quran says that prophethood can continue, then should you not be happy that at least he is following the Quran?

If Hadhrat Isa (as) is alive, then the whole foundation of which Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) stands on evaporates. Simple as that.

Actually the sahaba did not have a problem with the Death of Jesus nor did they have a problem with continuation of prophethood.

Hadhrat Aisha (ra) has said: "Say, he is the Seal of the Prophets (Khatamun Nabiyyeen) but don't say that there is no prophet after him (la nabiyya ba'duhu).
