If the followers of Hank believe he is a prophet and his teachings have had a positive impact on their lives then who are we to judge them? As long as these people are choosing to follow Hank through their own free will and are not harmong others, then there shouldn't be any problems. All religions were cults at some point according to some people.

As outside viewers and critical thinkers, we both know that "Hankism" is a false belief. If we apply the same aspects of their cult to Islam, then its in the same boat. Basically, the chances of Muhammad being a prophet of Allah and Allah even existing are just as likely as Karl being a prophet of Hank and Hank existing.

I am not quite familiar with what "Hankism" is but most religions are based on faith and not rational/reason or scienc. Its called faith/belief etc and not a fact for a reason. We can show some beliefs to be false through science like the earth is flat but how can you prove the non existance of a God who by definition can't be proved or disproved because of his attributes especially as God is indrestood in Islam?

People focus way too much about the miracles attributed to prophets rather than their main teachings which are mostly based on universal principles shared accross all religions such as selflessness, charity etc.

If Hankism makes someone sincerely happy and they have firm conviction in teachings of Hank then who are we as outsiders to tell them their happiness and beliefs are not geniune? We can all have a dialogue to undrestand each other and get our point of view across but ultimately its all belief/faith ands ome people will cling to it no matter what facts are presented to them.

Hankism is just the name I gave to the religion in the video.

This video isn't about proving whether God exists or not, but that religions like Islam are false beliefs. If there is even one thing in Islam that can be disproved, then its legitimacy is completely negated.

If Hankism makes someone sincerely happy and they have firm conviction in teachings of Hank then who are we as outsiders to tell them their happiness and beliefs are not geniune?
They can practice their belief if they want, the point of this video is just to show that religion is based on blindly following false beliefs.

Basically, Hankism was just used as an example (since we as outsiders know its false) to show religion for what it is, false beliefs based on blind faith.

Pretty much the only difference between "Hankism" and Islam is the number of followers.

Also, Hank's punishment is getting your ass kicked instead being gruesomely killed.

I dont need to watch any silly vid of hank or hankyism .. Sarbani answer me this, do you have the answer on how the universe was created? what happened before the big bang? if you do not know the answer, then my friend you are also a 'blind believer' since you do not have any proof that everything came into existence on its own.

The bottom line is we both have faith, the only difference is i have faith in a supreme being, whereas you put you're faith in fallible human beings that do not and never will have the technology to prove all that exists now was 'nothing' ..

You are here talking about speaking from an outside perspective. OK i invite you to view yourself from an outside perspective, where you and like minded individuals "know it all's" often find yourself laughing at relgions, however from an outsiders perspective you seem stupid as each other since non of you can even debate on the fundamental principle about the initial existence of the universe, instead you deviate from the topic and skip a few million years where you feel more comfortable.

Even if god is real, the Islamic version of god sure isn't real and Muhammad sure as hell isn't his prophet. The universe being created out of nothingness makes a thousand times more sense than Muhammad riding a centaur to heaven or splitting the moon.

I would say nothing is more senseless than the universe being created out of nothing. As for everything else your stipulating; Its just your personal opinion, nothing more than a mere 'opinion' from a nobody on the internet. Now run along little atheist boy.

Even if god does exist, that doesn't prove Islam isn't a false belief.

Deists believe in god but they don't believe in Islam or any other religion/cult:

Two part question, answer both please

What do you mean when you say "nothingness"?
Why does it make more sense in contrast to the Muhammad's mi'raj?

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

If i bring a car to you and tell you it is a Ferrari, you take a look at it and then tell me it's a replica.. now, is it my job to prove its not a replica or is it your job to prove it is not an original since you are the one making an allegation. In court the accuser/prosecution has to bring evidence forward to form a guilty verdict, the defendant then has to dissect the accusations made against himself point by point until a verdict is made. Using those examples in this argument its back to the same spot again, because in the end whether it is you or me in the defendant seat we will both reach the same conclusion of "We don't know for sure" , I tell you prove the origins of the universe .. you can't.. you tell me prove Allah is the originator in a scientific format? i can't either.. So we both have faith in our beliefs whatever we choose them to be.

As a Muslim i don't owe you anything, or need to prove anything to you since you live your own life with your own actions, you will die one day and so will i, how we lead our life depends on our conscience and faith in God/no-god. You believe in God but not sure where or who he is, Youve made your decision on Islam so then i suggest you waste less time on Islam and spend more time finding God, time is running out don't you think.

I wonder what the writer of this Hank story think of "Diest's" lol they most probably view you as completely lost individuals that are neither here nor there. Yet, here you are promoting atheism at the same time proclaiming to be a believer in God. Your intellect is really being challenged here, like i said..run along little boy.
