Historically speaking at least, the only relationship Farsiwan have had is a subordinate culture under the dominance of Pashtun rule. I don't approve of that, but that's what happened. No one knew about "genetic" closeness until very ...very recently and I mean like last 10 years recently. For a great deal of history, Pashtuns saw themselves as "Semitic" . Hence the Mythology of the Lost Tribes.

This is why it's clear you weren't actually raised in a Pashtun home, the type of stuff you say is not consistent with the Normative views of Pashtuns, but heavy influence from outsiders. Genetically everyone's a mutt, there's no such thing as a pure race, so that doesn't bother me at all.

It only bothers those with low self esteem, which explains why you're very defensive about this.
