And no, stonings aren't executions, though they often kill people.
Stoning last until the people are satisfied.

Stoning is more about making the person suffer than killing him.

First off execution is a form of punishment, so just from a logical consistency angle, Your hair splitting is just very fractured. The purpose of stoning is death. While I disagree with all forms of capital punishment, it exists and your attempt at trying to use some very tangential reasoning to make it seem more humane when it's done by secular powers demonstrates that you're backpeddling, in denial and have a weak position to begin with.

This is an extreme generalization but it is not uncommon.
They are only nice because they are scared to talk against them in public.

You know nothing about Afghanistan, most Afghans don't hate Jews, because according to Afghan Legends, there's a belief that Afghans are descended from the tribes of Israel. Now scientifically this claim is false, but it was a LONG held belief.

MOST Afghans don't hate Arabs, because Arabs were our allies when afghans were having wars with the Persians hundreds of years back. Afghans have some historically rivalry with Persians, but we don't even hate them.

Afghans DO hate Punjabis though, because we look at Punjabis as being racially lower. I don't agree with the belief of something being lower because of race, but this is a belief that exists in Afghanistan.

No informed Pashtun actually believes they descended from Jews.
They just believe in any legend they are told.
None of my family had this belief but they knew this myth existed.
It was probably made to stir up tension against Pashtun people.

Yes Execution is a form of punishment.
If the Goal of stoning was death then one blow would suffice like an all execution.
But stoning is completely different.
It's about the pain.
It's a form of public torture that leads to death. But not always.
