What you've stated here is about the existence of rivalries in Muslim societies. This is not a demonstration that they'd have "killed each other" .....implying that the Europeans saved the Muslim world from self annihilation. In fact if you think about Modern Iraq and Syria. ISIS grew as a consequence of U.S. intervention in Iraq. So that would clearly be the case contrary to what you suggest.

No that's wrong it doesn't fit the Model of Colonialism.

Even if we use Arabic script or allegedly "adopted" Arabic customs, which is a nonsensical statement because Arabic customs were themselves changed during the time of Islam.

This would not by itself suffice to be colonialism Colonialism has more conditions.
