Prophet saww said ,"The Mahdi will rule the world like the Dhu’l-Qarnayn and the Prophet Sulaiyman."(Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi 'Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 29)
The Prophet saww said, "There have been four great kings on the Earth: Two were believers and two were unbelievers. The believers were Dhu'l-Qarnayn and Sulaiyman (Solomon), and the unbelievers were Nimrod and Bakhtinasr. There will be a fifth king to rule the world will be from the people of my House."(Ibn al-Jawzi, Mektubat-i Rabbani, 2/1163)

Narrated Yusair son of Jabir ra," Once there blew a red storm in Kufah and there came a person who had nothing to say but (these words): "Abdullah son of Mas'ud, the Last Hour has come." He (Abdullah son of Mas'ud) ra was sitting reclining against something, and he said: "The Last Hour will not come until the people do not divide inheritance and rejoice over booty."

Then He said pointing towards Syria, with a gesture of his hand like this: "The enemy will muster strength against the Muslims and the Muslims will muster strength against them." I said: "You mean Rome?" He said: "Yes, and there will be a terrible fight. The Muslims will prepare a detachment (for fighting unto death), which will not return unless victorious. They will fight until darkness intervenes.
Both sides will return without being victorious and both will be wiped out. The Muslims will again prepare a detachment for fighting unto death so that they may not return unless victorious. When it is the fourth day, a new detachment from the remnant of the Muslims will be prepared and Allah will decree that the enemy will be routed. They would fight such a fight the like of which has not been seen, so fierce that even if a bird were to pass their flanks, it would fall down dead before reaching the other end. (There will be such a large scale massacre) that when counting will be done, (only) one out of a hundred men related to one another would be found alive. So what can be the joy at the spoils of such war and what inheritance can be divided?
They will be in this very state when they will hear of a calamity more horrible than this. A cry will reach them: 'The Dajjal has taken your place among your offspring.' They will therefore throw away what is in their hands and go forward, sending ten horsemen as a scouting party. Allah's Apostle saww said: 'I know their names, the names of their forefathers and the color of their horses. They will be the best horsemen on the surface of the Earth on that day or among the best horsemen on the surface of the Earth on that day.'"(Sahih Muslim, Book 41, No. 6927)

Nafi’, the son of ‘Utbah ra said, “The Prophet saww said, ‘you will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant it (to you). Then (you will invade) Persia and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade Rome and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade The Dajjal and Allah will grant him (to you).’”Mu’adh, the son of Jabal said, “

The Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said, ‘The building of Bayt al-Maqdis (al-Aqsa in Jerusalem) will be followed by the destruction of Yathrib (Madinah), which will be followed by a fierce battle (great war), which will be followed by the conquest of Rome, which will be followed by the appearance of the Dajjal.’"
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal ra : The Prophet saww said: "The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war (i.e., the battle of Armageddon) will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal comes forth." He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand and said: "This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu'adh ibn Jabal ra)". (Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim), Book 37, Number 4281)

Reported by Abu Said Al Khudri ra ,Prophet saww said: "A man from my nation will come who speaks with my Sunnah and Allah, the Mighty, the Glorified will send showers of rain from the heavens so that the earth will produce its blessing. Through him the earth will be filled with fairness and justice just as it had been filled by oppression and injustice. He will govern this nation for seven years, and go to Jerusalem."
(Abu Dawud, Al Hakim, At-Tirmizi, Ahmad, son of Hibban, Muslim, AlTabarani, Al Barudi and Abu Nuaym).

Reported by Abdullah ra son of Amru, Prophet saww said:
"In the month of Zul-Qa'dah, the tribes will start to fight and pilgrims will be robbed. There will be a fierce battle at Mina until their companion escapes and he will be pledged allegiance between Al Rukn and Al Makam whilst he dislikes it. The allegiance will be pledged by the same number of fighters at Badr and the inhabitants of the Heaven and Earth will be pleased with him."(Al Hakim, Nuaym son of Hammad's book 'Al Fitan')

Abdullah bin Umar ra said: While we were sitting with the Messenger saww of Allah he mentioned the Fitan/tribulations, mentioning many of them until he mentioned theFitn/tribulations of Ahlaas. Someone asked him' O Messenger of Allah, what is the "Ahlaas" Fitna?

He*saww said 'It is fleeing and plunder. Then, will come Fitna /tribulationsof AsSarra'a (pleasure & properity): its smoke is under the feet of a man (descendant) from my household, who claims he is following me, but he is not because my Awlyia (followers or loyalists) are those who fear God. Then, the people will reconcile by choosing a man (to be a leader) who will be like a hip-bone on a rib (meaning he will not be able to hold a firm leadership grip). Then, the Duhaima (Dark & Cunning that catches people off guard) Fitna of strife,trial & tribulationsthat will not leave anyone without slapping him a slap (testing his faith); if people say it is finished, it stays longer; a man who is in the morning a Mu'min (Believer) by the the evening becomes a Kafir (Disbeliever), until people will be divided into two factions: a faction of Iman (faithfulness in belief) without hypocrisy and a faction of hypocrisy without Iman (faithfulness in belief). When this happens, expect the (Fitna of) Dajjal that day or the next day'." (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hakim, Al-Dhahabi, Ahmad)

Explaination:The fitnah of Al-Ahlas (continuous calamity) is mass desertion and war. Then, the fitnah of As-Sarraa [meaning the rich, when some rich people use their money to hire others to fight for them] will start from under the feet of a man who claims that he is of me (of my descendants). However, he is not of me, for my loyal friends are the ones who have taqwa. Afterwards, people will unite around a man whose reign is unstable. Then, the fitnah of Ad-Duhaymaa [it is called dark and black fitnah because of its enormity] (will start) and will not leave any member of this nation without severely touching him. When it is thought that its time has come to an end, it will be lengthened. Meanwhile (during this fitnah), a man will wake up as a believer and will meet the night as a disbeliever, until people divide into two camps: A camp of belief that contains no hypocrisy, and a camp of hypocrisy that contains no belief. If this happens, then await the Dajjal on that day or the next. [Ahmad, Abu Dawood and al-Hakim, Mishkatul-Masabih, vol. 4, no. 5403]

Hadith of Prophet Muhammad saww :"Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Jumuah (Friday) he will be given a light between the two jumuahs (i.e. that one and the next one)."[Al-Haakim]

The Prophet saww said, ‘Whoever recited Surah al Kahf in the same manner in which it was revealed, it will serve for him as a light on the Day of Judgement, from his domicile to Makkah. And whoever recited the last ten verses, and it happens that the Dajjal should appear after that, Dajjal will not be empowered over him’.[Hakim 1/564 & Dhahabi]

Abu’d-Darda ra reported that the Messenger saww of Allah said, “Anyone who memorises ten ayats from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf (18) will be protected from the Dajjal.”[Muslim, Riyad as-Salihin by Imam an-Nawawi 183 #1012]

One variant has, “from the end of Surat al-Kahf.”The Prophet saww said, ‘Whoever recited Surah al Kahf on a Friday, Allah will kindle for him abundant light to brightly illuminate the period between the two Fridays (the Friday on which the recitation was made and the next Friday)."
[Hakim 2/367, Mishkat al-Masabih #2175, however Baihaqi disagreed with it’s authenticity in Sahih Al Jami 2/1104]

Narrated Al-Bara’bin Azib ra: A man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man, and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet saww and told him of that experience. The Prophet saww said, “That was As-Sakina (tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur’an.”

Narrated by Buraida ra ,'I heard dear Prophet Muhammad saww saying that,
"Soon many armies will depart after me.You must join the one going to Khurasan .Then you stay there in a city called Merv. because it was built by Zulkarnain and he prayed for Barakah in it and threrefore, no harm will be done to those living there."


ا أَوْسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَخِي سَهْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي بُعُوثٌ كَثِيرَةٌ فَكُونُوا فِي بَعْثِ خُرَاسَانَ ثُمَّ انْزِلُوا مَدِينَةَ مَرْوَ فَإِنَّهُ بَنَاهَا ذُو الْقَرْنَيْنِ وَدَعَا لَهَا بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَلَا يَضُرُّ أَهْلَهَا سُوءٌ




حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ عنقریب میرے بعد بہت سے لشکر روانہ ہوں گے تم خراسان کی طرف جانے والے لشکر میں شامل ہو جانا اور " مرو" نامی شہر میں پڑاؤ ڈالنا کیونکہ اسے ذوالقرنین نے بنایا تھا اور اس میں برکت کی دعا کی تھی اس لئے وہاں رہنے والوں کو کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچے گا۔

City of merv:


The oasis of Merv is situated on the Murghab River that flows down from Afghanistan, on the southern edge of the Karakum Desert, at 37°30’N and 62°E, about 230 miles (370 km) north of Herat, and 280 miles (450 km) south of Khiva. Its area is about 1,900 square miles (4,900 km2). The great chain of mountains which, under the names of Paropamisade and Hindu Kush, extends from the Caspian Sea to the Pamir Mountains is interrupted some 180 miles (290 km) south of Merv. Through or near this gap flow northwards in parallel courses the Tejen and Murgab rivers, until they lose themselves in the Karakum Desert. Thus they make Merv a sort of watch tower over the entrance into Afghanistan on the north-west and at the same time create a stepping-stone or étape between north-east Persia and the states of Bokhara and Samarkand.Merv is advantageously situated in the inland delta of the Murghab River, which flows from its source in the Hindu Kush northwards through the Garagum desert.

The Murghab delta region, known to the Greeks as Margiana, gives Merv two distinct advantages: first, it provides an easy southeast-northwest route from the Afghan highlands towards the lowlands of Karakum, the Amu Darya valley and Khwarezm. Second, the Murgab delta, being a large well-watered zone in the midst of the dry Karakum, serves as a natural stopping-point for the routes from northwest Iran towards Transoxiana – the Silk Roads. The delta, and thus Merv, lies at the junction of these two important routes: the northwest-southeast route to Herat and Balkh (and thus to the Indus and beyond) and the southwest-northeast route from Tus and Nishapur to Bukhara and Samarkand.This place was an important stop on the Silk Road during the time of the Han dynasty. Here merchants could trade for fresh horses or camels and this was a very important oasis city.


NOTE: At present Merv city in Turkamanistan...but just like today we have different Khurasan.Same is the case with merv.It was inside Khurasan in time of prophet saww.

Narrated by jaida ra from ibn e abbas ra,Prophet*saww said,"When you come to the bank of black waters (i.e near turkey).and see people wearing black with the people of Khurasan as their helpers, then dont move from them until they give support to Sayyidna Esa bin Maryam alayhay salam."*

1. Black Sea :

The Black Sea is an inland sea located between far-southeastern Europe and the far-western edges of the continent of Asia and the country of Turkey. It's bordered by Turkey, and by the countries of Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia. It connects to the Mediterranean Sea first through the Bosporus Strait, then through the Sea of Marmara and the Dardanelles Strait, then south through the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Crete.*

Important cities along the coast include Batumi, Burgas,Constanța, Giresun, Hopa, Istanbul, Kerch, Mangalia, Năvodari,Novorossiysk, Odessa, Ordu, Poti, Rize, Samsun, Sevastopol,Sochi, Sukhumi, Trabzon, Varna, Yalta and Zonguldak.Over many centuries the Black Sea has been of critical importance to regional commerce.*

Today this body of water serves as a primary highway for the transport of energy to Europe from Russia and western Asia. This valuable economic conduit is one of the world's busiest waterways, and in 2005 over 55,000 ships, including almost 6,000 oil tankers passed through the Bosporus Strait, most carrying Russian oil.*

The steppes to the north of the Black Sea have been suggested as the original homeland (Urheimat) of the speakers of the Proto-Indo-European language, (PIE) the progenitor of theIndo-European language family, by some scholars such as Marija Gimbutas; others move the heartland further east towards the Caspian Sea, yet others to Anatolia. Numerous ancient ports, some older than the Egyptian pyramids line the Black Sea's coasts.Ancient trade routes in the region are currently being extensively studied by scientists, as the Black Sea was sailed by Hittites, Carians,Thracians, Greeks, Persians, Cimmerians, Scythians, Romans, Byzantines, Goths, Huns, Avars, Bulgars, Slavs, Varangians, Crusaders, Venetians,Genoese, Lithuanians, Georgians, Poles, Tatars, Ottomans, and Russians.

2. Another view of black water....The Dead Sea : is the lowest surface on Earth, at 400 meters below sea level. It is located in the Middle East, bordered by Jordan, the West Bank, and Israel. It is more of a lake than a "sea," fed by the Jordan River.

Most possibility is that the black water near istanbul is the correct locations as described in other hadeeths also points to the same in this hadeeth when 70,000 bani israel ll land in constantinople in end times..The black sea was also a pathway of children of israel when it spread as a diaspora besides middle east and media....

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:

Narrated Abu Huraira ra :Allah's Apostle saww said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary (isa as) will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira ra added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e. Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them."
