"Patience and victory are twin brothers, for victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress and ease comes with hardship. Surely, Allaah is with those who are As-Saabiroon (the patient)'."

The Tranquility of Remembrance He guides to Himself all who turn to Him —
        those who have faith
and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of God —
for, truly, in the remembrance of God hearts find rest.

        [Surah ar-Ra'd 13:28]
        Commentary
"Here we have one of the foremost principles of the Qur'an and one of the most essential truths for a human being to realize. Nothing can satisfy the heart as much as the remembrance of Allah. When we turn in the direction of Allah, the ultimate reality, we will be guided to His Presence and our hearts will be satisfied, tranquil, still. The human heart was created restless, always searching for some object to devote itself to and love. In everyday life our hearts are likely to be distracted by various desires, attractions, and concerns. With the remembrance of Allah, however, we are reconnected to the divine center and all other desires and concerns fall into the proper perspective."

This is from my online course on Islam.

"Just preceding this, the unbelievers ask "why is not a Sign sent down to him (Muhammad) from his Lord?" Allah provides every guidance for those who turn to Him in penitence, but He will leave those to wander astray who deliberately close their eyes and their hearts to His grace and the comfort that comes from remembering Him and celebrating His praises. The Sign or miracle is not something external: it is something internal, something in your mind, heart, and soul. It depends on your inner spiritual experience. If you turn to Allah, that light, that experience will come. If you do not, Allah will not force you"

            sura ma'aarij

Lo! they behold it afar off (6) While we behold it nigh: (7) The day when the sky will become as molten copper, (8) And the hills become as flakes of wool, (9) And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend (10) Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children (11) And his spouse and his brother (12) And his kin that harboured him (13) And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him.

Zayam, one of the verses that give us strength, bless you for sharing. Alaa bi dhikrillahi tat mainnul quloob, which has two meanings. One, you have explained very well, which is that in Allah's remembrance our hearts find peace. And the second is that, in nothing else can the hearts find peace, happiness, contentment and satisfaction, but in living our lives in accordance to the prescribed obligations, which ultimately result in His pleasure (InshaAllah). Enlighten us, for your words are always worth a read.

Verly those who conceal the clear proofs evidences and the guidance which we have sent down, After We have made it clear for the people in the book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the curses (2:159)

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
