Satan will say "Indeed, Allah had promised you with the promise of truth, whereas I promised you but betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid. Indeed, I deny that you previously joined me.Indeed for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment". [Surah Ibrahim Ayat 22]

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith] (Quran 30:60)

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
        own inclinations and desires

“O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!” [Qur'an 62;9]

“And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper.” [Qur'an 62;10]

Tomorrow is Jumu'a ! Don't forget to go to the masjid and after the prayer, make du'a for the muslims in Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Gaza...

“Muhammad is the apostle of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.” [Qur'an 48:29]

Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but him, and be kind to your
parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, do not rebuke them, but
speak to them in terms of honour and kindness. Treat them with humility, and say,
'My Lord! Have mercy on them, for they did care for me when I was little'

Always be just: that is closest to being God-fearing

                            • It has been narrated on the authority of Masruq (ra) Who said:
We asked 'Abdullah (ra) about the Qur'anic verse:

"Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they are alive, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord..." [Qur'an 3:169]

He said: We asked the meaning of the verse (from the Holy Prophet) who said:

"The souls of the martyrs live in the bodies of green birds who have their nests in chandeliers hung from the throne of the Almighty. They eat the fruits of Paradise from wherever they like and then nestle in these chandeliers.

Once their Lord cast a glance at them and said: 'Do ye want anything?' They said: 'What more shall we desire?' We eat the fruit of Paradise from wherever we like. Their Lord asked them the same question thrice. When they saw that they will continue to be asked and not left (without answering the question), they said: O Lord, we wish that Thou mayest return our souls to our bodies
