... Be it anonymous, but I don't see anything wrong with the males sharing theirs ... we did this on another forum, and the recitations are among my frequently played playlist. In fact, I was listening to one just before Maghrib ... so folks ... what say?

I am in dire need of a new collection of recitations. I've exhausted my current one.

So we're expecting originals and imitations. Be sure to include who you're imitating.

I have a clip of an Afghan recitor who imitates (exactly) about seven different Qari's. Amazing talent I think.

as soon as we have a few contestants. We're waiting for Abubaker and other pious members to participate.

And you can recite any surah that you like the most and you are most confident with.

so only pious people can participate... that means i can't participate in this especially considering the fact i can't judge myself on level of piety and neither can you.

its so common amongs PF members to just throw words around without even knowing the impact of their words...

Here is the procedure:

Qrratugai is going to be the organizer for the sisters recitations. Contestants can record their recitation and send it to Qrratugai so she can examine them initially in order for contestants to make some final improvements and adjustments. And only sisters will hear other sisters recite and only they can judge them. Votes will be sent to Admin Khan. And Qrratugai is going to announce the winner.

Ahhhhhh ... I don't know, Sangar! lol. I am extremely busy these days, so I think someone else should take over.

But no male member is allowed to hear the sisters recite. For obvious reasons I assume.

We miss one male judge who is as qualified as Qrratugai to do the same job. If we cannot find anyone, I will ask a friend of mine who is mashaa allah a very good reciter.

And needless to say, the same procedure as described for the sisters applies to brothers.

I was gonna ask about this ... I mean, you know, females having a naturally ... "better" (hotter, seductive, etc.) voice than males, it MUST be haraam for men to hear the women's voices!
