He did score, he had sex with girls, I even think also with men LOL. It happens in the West as much as the East. How many husbands kill their wives, how many boyfriends kill their girlfriends in the West. Check out page 16-18 in this government report.,

There is a distinction between honor killings which is cultural and the concept of capital punishment for adultery which is typically a religious issue that is not only restricted to Islam.

There are several similar types of capital punishment with regards to adultery in Judaism and Christianity. In Chaldean Iraq, Chaldeans (Christians for those who do not know) also do capital punishment for adultery.

A serious discussion would talk about the cultural reasons for honor killing and then the religious reasons. This type of a discussion would proceed on a few levels, incorporating societal morals and rules. Any discussion which simply talks about whether something is good or bad, nice or mean is irrelevant. One should look at the reasons behind it, socially.

The whole point of this seems to simply be to point out how barbaric and wrong Islam is despite the fact that capital punishment for adultery is part of many other religions, including Judaism and Christianity.
