about oily food you are spot on, it will give you hard time.

    Which peoples call it charbangay?

In Wardag we call it pershamay/purshamai

I had lots pasta, lassi (yogurt drink) and fruits/nuts for sehri. It worked, I didn't feel tired or thirsty at all.

avoid oily and processed sugar foods at all costs, they do more harm for fasting then good

Perakai (with gandana), maste, shedai, chai.
Next up is dodai and that honey flavoured cream or tukhm-karai and tea.

Man, my head is banging patakh! patakh! ~18 hours where I am now.

Have any of you checked out John Berardi's articles on Intermittent fasting or Marty Berkan's lean gains guide/website. IF is a similar protocol to fasting in Ramadhan.

What I eat starting from an hour before Fajr

3 eggs (2 whole with one albumin)
                          Bowl of Cheerios
Protein shake (mixed with milk and peanut butter and multi-vitamins)
                          A bottle of water

This fulls me up for the whole day.

What I eat to break fast

                          Whole grain brown rice
                          Chicken or fish
                          Side of vegetables
                          Bottle of water.

I said "what I eat to break fast"

Hence the space between break and fast ;-)
